Overview
Enjoy a day of family–friendly fun on a rafting trip through the Durango rapids. Your guides provide a range of options for all comfort levels, from a mild trip for ages 4 and up to a “Class III” trip for a more adrenaline–filled ride. As a popular choice for locals and visitors alike, booking in advance is recommended. Free parking, riverside snacks, and splash jackets are included.
What to Expect
Everyone will meet at the main office where they will check in, sign release forms, and get dressed for the river. Next, there is a shuttle that will take you to the river for your safety orientation and rafting instructions. Then, it's time to hit the river. You will tackle the “Train Bridge Rapid,” “Baby Smelter”, and the exciting Class III “Smelter Rapid." Then, it's time to refuel with a river side snack of fresh fruit or granola bars. The trip ends with a shuttle back to the main office. You will arrive back to the office approximately 2 hours after your departure time.

Fun-tastic!

Sam, our guide, was an absolute kick in the pants! She had our whole group giggling and trying to figure out riddles, which was a heaven-sent task for keeping the youngsters busy! Great guide too! Lots and lots of fun, highly recommend!
