- Journey Quest - Royal Gorge Office, 559 County Rd 3A Unit #B, 559 Co Rd 3A, Cañon City, CO 81212, USA From Colorado Springs, take I-25 to exit 140, and follow Hwy 115 South to Hwy 50. Turn right (west) on Hwy 50 and travel West through Canon City. From Canon City continue 8 miles West on Hwy 50, and turn left on County Rd 3A (Signs for Royal Gorge Park & Bridge). Journey Quest is approx 1/4 mile on the right in front of the Royal Gorge KOA. Plan on just over an hour from Downtown Colorado Springs.

We absolutely loved our experience! Our guide, Nate, was awesome! We had great conversations, exciting adventures through some rapids, and some chill float time to enjoy God’s beautiful creation. Our 12yr old and 14 yr old had a blast!
We caught up with some of the other rafting companies at one point. They had so many rafts out on the water at once that were loaded with people. They must have gone very fast because they were out of sight quickly. We weren’t going slow by any means. Journey Quest seemed to provide a more personal experience than the larger companies.
The water temperature was cold and we were very thankful to have rented the wet suits.
I recommend supporting this family owned Christian business. They made us feel welcome and provided a top notch experience that we will never forget.

This was a great experience on the water as a family. I'm excited to return again. The half day whitewater was perfect for our two families, with 4 children aged 5-13. The younger children were able to sit inside without having to paddle. We all had thrills without feeling like we were in danger. Our guide Steve did a great job telling us about the upcoming rapids and preparing us to get through them. It was a tremendous value and had a great location just about 1 hour from Colorado Springs.

We had a great time floating Bighorn. Our guide, Brooke, was well skilled and knowledgeable about the river we floated. She trained us well in what to do and how to paddle on her commands. Nathaniel did a professional job of training us on what to do in the event of an emergency. Luckily, because the other raft we were with had some “swimmers”. Brooke immediately instructed us on how to help and those who were throw out of their raft knew what to do to remain as safe as possible. Brooke did not hesitate to do what was needed to help out with the utmost concern for the swimmers. Even with that, we had a great time and would do it again in a heartbeat with JourneyQuest!!

Our first time white water rafting was amazing. I'd recommend Journey Quest for their value, experience and overall service. Before booking the tour, I called in and the young lady who helped me on the phone was exceptional. I never felt rushed and she answered all my questions to make a well informed decision on what package to purchase. Our guide Bracy was awesome. His prep-tutorial was well versed and he made sure everyone understood all the instructions. It poured down on us for a bit with a tail wind so that made the experience even more intense. Bracy helped us navigate through all the class 3's with ease. I'd book it again in a heart-beat and would recommend this experience for any first-timers. Great Job Journey Quest. That's something our family will remember forever.

Loved Journey Quest! This was the first time for my 10 and 12 year old to go rafting. I wanted them to have a good experience so they would want to go again. The trip was adventurous but not overly scaring for my kids. We saw 5 big horn sheep and one otter swim across in front of our raft. This company was professional and fun while explaining history and other background in the area. Loved that our guide prayed for us just as we were about to hit the first rapids. Everyone on the team had great conversations with us and I felt like they were stellar guides with a focus on safety while keeping it light. Their photographer was great too as it was hard to pick one picture of the action. My kids loved it and I would highly recommend this company!

Everyone at Journey Quest was so pleasant and helpful. We took a trip with my family including 2 small children (5 & 7) and they made us all feel very safe while giving us an exciting experience. The woman that checked us in was so accommodating (especially in the Colorado heat), our guides Nate & Emiline were so fun, well informed and friendly. They made the journey very enjoyable and created memories we won't forget. Even the bus driver was great & took nice pictures. I would definitely recommend this company for a trip down the Arkansas River!!

We did this trip on a 95 deg day family of 5 (2parents and 3 teens). The morning was a great learning and watching type of ride with a little paddeling and great views. A great break for unch which was provided and healthy and tasty. The 2nd half of the day was more rapids and that part went really fast and was a lot of fun and not scary at all. Our guide Hannah was great!

My husband and I and our 3 young kids (ages 3-8) found Journey Quest while trying to find a rafting company near Co Springs that would allow our 3 year old. What a blessing! They were amazing, sober (which we heard isn’t common with other rafting companies😬), and down to earth. Our guide was the owner and took great care of us. He took extra precautions because we had a 3 yr old. Not once was I fearful of us tipping over.
One of our favorite things about them is that they are a Christ-centered company that has a passion and mission for telling others about the greatness of Jesus. Our guide shared with us about how God had worked in his life to bring him to where he was today. He wasn’t pushy, or judgmental about whether we were believers or not (which we are), but he really just wanted to share his story.
I 100% recommend them!!!!

Such a fun day! Kileen was amazing, so sweet and kind. We are not religious and I had not read the website closely, so I almost canceled. But it was not preachy or overt at all. Guide said a prayer before we set out, but wasn't bothered that we did not participate.
A great time was had by all and even my teenagers were caught smiling and laughing. A vacation victory!

This is our new favorite rafting company on the Arkansas River. Mark set us up with a trip through the Big Horn Canyon that was enough adventure for the adults yet tame enough for the younger ones. Our 3 guides were incredibly professional and very experienced. Rafting with Journey Quest was the highlight of our week in Colorado this time, and we’ll plan on making them a part of our yearly trip to Colorado.
