Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley
From US$99.00
Overview
Go wine tasting without the stress of driving or deciding between dozens of tasting rooms. Instead, hop aboard the adults-only Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley and get chauffeured through the picturesque rolling hills. All the planning and navigating is handled for you as you sample wines at four different wineries, taste regional varietals, and enjoy a picnic prepared by the Girl & the Fig, a rustic French bistro.
What to Expect
Find your trolley, a replica of a classic San Francisco cable car, midmorning at Sonoma Plaza. Then, meet your guide and grab a seat. As the trolley winds through the valley, you are free to focus on the view.

Between stops, your guide shares local folklore and colorful history as you pass landmarks such as Mission San Francisco Solano and Bear Flag Monument. For lunch, a French country-style picnic lunch is served family style, allowing you to select your choice of salads, sandwiches, and desserts from local bistro, the Girl & the Fig.

During the 6-hour outing, you visit four different wineries—each selected based on its superior wines and pleasant atmosphere. You learn about quintessential California varietals such as cabernet sauvignon, merlot, chardonnay and pinot noir as you taste. (Tasting fees are not included.)

Your tour ends back where it began.
