I booked the Snow Bus through WinterFriend to take me from the Seoul Airport to Yongpyong. The bus was cancelled and Winterfriend took my money and left me hanging at the airport for 4 hours. When I called them to find out where the bus was they told me it was cancelled and that I should just take the train!

Referred from the Namchuncheon Tourist information office the Tourist Taxi office is adjacent to the Chuncheon Railway station Tourist information office. In a nutshell 20,000 ₩ gets you up to three hours in a very nice taxi, with a choice of up to three locations to visit from a large number of options. Up to four passengers for this amount…. Very efficient process, you pay the driver, and they take you where you want to go. If you want to go more places you can negotiate at the office- as the drive is given a printed sheet with what you choose. We chose the Soyanggang Skywalk-a not really scary glass floored pier over the lake, then to the Dam above the town, and finally to the Gubongsan Observatory - really it’s a good lookout point overviewing Chuncheon -which is at a rather classy cafe called Santorini.. then Mr Park our loquacious (well not really) and safe driver took us back to where in town we wanted to be dropped off…. It was really good value and efficient way of seeing stuff.

Don’t book. They canceled my large group of 7 with no notice. I was really disappointed because I’m an ARMY and I love the k drama Goblin. My group and I really had high hopes for this. It’s unfortunate that this booking was canceled without notice.

All the packages were great. from pick up at myeongdong at 06.00 until we returned back same place around 20.00 it was so cold, so exhausting, hurt all of my body, but it's fun

Winterfriend was prompt in replying to my queries. The package includes accomodation, private ski lessons, ski rental plus gear for 2 days and entrance to Snowyland. Transport was on time and the guide was friendly and fluent in English. Daemyung ski resort has many English speaking staff.

Did the 1 day trip to the ski park. Bus set off at 830 and it took 2 hrs to reach the ski park and about another 1.5 - 2 hrs to get the equipment and outfitted. The 45 min lesson was very basic and unless u have skied before is not much. There were 3 slopes but only did the first one with much difficulty. Stopped at 230pm for lunch and snowly land. This is only good for those who really only want a taster of the sking experience.

We took the free bus from Myeongdong to Vivaldi. The bus journey was smooth and its driver and attendants was polite, and managed to control the crowd well. On the return bus trip, after we got to our hotel, we realised we left a package on the bus. Frantically we called the bus operator to inform them. They were most helpful and we got our package back the next day. Kudos to them. Their helpfulness and honesty saved our holiday. Thank you Vivaldi bus operator. We are most grateful

I was there in December 2019. We booked a family suite. It was really nice and the suite is big. The towel is too small though but I guess maybe it’s winter. The ski park is huge with lots of people. CAUTION for tourist(foreigners). Please purchase your Ski pass, Gear rentals at the TOURIST CENTRE as it is cheaper by around USD$20 per pax. Sadly the staffs there don’t speak English and they will not be bothered to direct you to the Tourist Centre. The Tourist Centre is located at the far left side of the activity building when you are facing the Ski Slope. And the entrance is facing the Ski slope. It is very near the Muslim prayers room.

Getting there was pretty easy with all the helpful people around. Amazing food stalls open till late. Show started off amazing, then seemed as though it started to drag for all of 10 mins when out of nowhere it became really inclusive of audience and just generally hilarious. Absolutely would recommend this when visiting.

Musical comedy show. Something very different from normal musical show. It's interesting, funny and it was fun.. Must see..

Great show, my husband and I didnt know what to expect but it definantely made us laugh and you dont need to know Korean to understand what going on. The cast are incredibly talented and love to get the audience involved! Theatre was easy to find and show went for about 1.5hrs. Thanks so much for a fun night :)

The actors were hilarious, good looking, and talented. They could sing, dance, chop food at amazing speeds, and make ANY object a drum or a drumstick, and were wildly entertaining. I would definitely go back to see the show again! :)

We had a great family holiday with skiing that is good for a few days. There are not that many hills but they are in good shape and some of them are really nice. All staff are great and you find some good food in several places. Worth going there!

The show was funny and well worth the 💰. It's a combo of stomp, chopped and a comedy show. The only complaint I had was that it is a little hard to locate.

Booked with Winterfriend for family trip in Dec 2018 to Daemyung Vivaldi Ski Resort, 2 Days 1 Night, and ski for 1 day. Total 8 pax. Thought it would be convenient to book with them. Also it seems like they have some sort of agreement with the resort to reserve and sell the rooms. When I went to the hotel website to book as early as Oct, the almost all the rooms were not available. Very few were available and they were on the dates that I do not want. However when I booked through Winterfriend, all the rooms and dates were available. Initially thought it would be convenient booking through them. However they were quite show to respond to emails and WhatsApp messages. An enquiry can go under unanswered for days and you need to keep your English simple as they do not comprehend complex questions. Generally Yena was very helpful during my booking stage. But that was also because I did my bookings early and I was able to wait for her to respond. However there was no help when I was in site in the resort. What they did was to meet me at the pick up point and provide me the vouchers. After that I was in my own at the ski resort. Many problems concerning communication arose in Daemyung Vivaldi Ski Resort. Almost all their signs are in Korean, especially the ones at the ticket counter. So I was not able to buy additional ski lift tickets to the Snowyland area where my children wanted to play with the snow. Also I had problems trying to arrange my shuttle bus back to Seoul and all the staff speak Korean. You need to keep asking around and hope to get a staff who can understand you and your request. Winterfriend is on WhatsApp, but they rarely respond. By the time they responded, a few hours later, I had already gotten the help I needed. So overall quite an uneventful trip. But I wouldn't go to Winterfriend again and I would try other middleman companies.
