MUSEO ORLINA is the showcase of the artistry of internationally acclaimed Ramon Orlina, pioneer and foremost practitioner of glass sculpture in the country. Before Orlina, glass was largely appreciated only for its utilitarian function: as drinking vessels, window glass panes, or automotive wind shields. A visionary, Orlina saw beyond the humble origin of this industrial glass residue. The result is an exultant body of works that, through the decades, have dazzled the art scene and prized by numerous collectors. Triumphantly, Orlina has transformed the medium by elevating it to the dignity and respectability of art.

An Excellent Intro to Scenic Manila
This is a great intro to Manila to see the American Cemetery and then head to Intramoros to see the sites there. The van was clean and comfortable. The driver did a great job and Fernando was an excellent guide who knew the sites well and provided an excellent experience. I would suggest this for anyone who wants to do a quick overview visit of Manila

    A Valuable Excursion
I enjoyed my tour with Nori very much. He is knowledgeable and friendly. I learned much about the history of the region. The van was comfortable and we saw a lot of Manila. Thank you, Nori!

    Comprehensive tour
This tour offered a much-needed introduction for my friends visiting for the first time from California. I really appreciated that we traveled through other cities (Makati and BGC) too, while being provided with plenty of information along the way. My friends arrived the day after the super typhoon, and I was so concerned that I canceled my initial booking. However, I managed to get in touch with the provider through their WhatsApp number and was able to track the situation, eventually rebooking the same tour for the same day. I would recommend this tour for first-time visitors. Yes, the traffic is terrible—you're in Manila. If that surprises you, that's on you.

A lovely intro to the local history
The reviewers warning about trafffic clearly have little experience travelling in SE Asia, it is consistent with other countries. Remember, you aren’t stuck in the traffic, you are the traffic. Tour guides were knowledgeable, polite. Transport was clean and air conditioned.

Journey back to hotel was longer than the tour.
The information, guide and driver were great however it took longer to return to our hotel than the tour. The tour finished at 4pm and we didn’t get back to our hotel until 7pm. It appeared that we could have been dropped prior to a passenger who was staying close to the airport however they were dropped first adding an hour to our travel time.

Good tour but be prepared for the traffic
The tour guide was knowledgeable and it was good to see the promised locations. Something that is beyond their control is the Manila traffic, which meant that about two thirds of the tour was getting between locations.

Great tour to experience hidden Manila.
Troy was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. We were on our own in the vehicle so effectively had a private tour. Apparently, July being the start of the typhoon season, sees low demand for this type of tour. Intramuros was thought-provoking given the atrocities committed by the Japanese occupiers in 1941-1945. The American War cemetery was also a sobering place to visit. I have been to Manila many times on business but never had the time to be a tourist. This is a great tour to experience some of the hidden parts of Manila.

    Not good value for money.
I didn’t get value for money. Tour is overpriced. Extra stops ought to be added to justify the price. The tour was so short.

Great half day tour hitting the historical highlights in metro Manila!
My tour guide Fernando was very informative and easy to understand. I really appreciate that even though I was solo (paid the price for 2 people) they still ran the tour even though no one else was added. Be warned, there is quite a bit of walking involved to see intramuros & Fort Santiago, and at the time of day we went it was quite warm. They provide bottled water but would suggest bringing a hat, towel, umbrella for shade in open areas. Driver has nerves of steel to be able to navigate the tight streets with the scooters weaving in & out. Kudos to him!

A nice relaxing day to chill away from the city
If you want a nice relaxing day to chill away from the city, then I do recommend booking this activity. I was quite lucky as the place wasn’t so crowded. I recommend seeing the waterfall first. It is quite a small one, but still lovely. It’s about a 20 minutes walk which can be quite calming and there was a gentleman there who helped me through the water and took fantastic pictures of me. There are three pools: the big warm pool, the “soda” pool, and the lovers’ pool which is tucked away in the corner. They provided me with lockers at no extra cost. You make your way back to Manila after lunch so make sure you do as much swimming as possible beforehand. Lunch is buffet food (with soft drinks costing extra) and although I am not a huge fan of buffet food, it was nice nonetheless. Throughout the drive, my tour guide was informing me about the sights on the road i.e. the buildings, the motorway, the mountain etc., which was nice. The only negative feeling I had (at the very end of the tour) was the tour guide telling me I should tip the driver. Although I do not come from a “tipping culture” country, I do not mind doing it when someone has done a great job. That said, I didn’t have much cash on me (as everything was booked and I didn’t want to carry much cash on me) so I just pulled out the first note which was PHP 50. The tour guide complained that it was too small. I still ended up giving it to the driver, but it left a sour taste in my mouth (and it’s not like this is a cheap activity to book). Overall, this is a nice activity to book if you want a break from the city.
