For the background: Our trip was a '21 Nights Tailor Made Trip', just for the two of us, leading us to Ntwetwe Pan, Nxai Pan, Tsodilo, Moremi, Kwai, Savuti, Chobe starting in Maun and ending in Kasane. We booked the trip with Lucas from home via the internet. Once we finished our joint planning, Lucas wrote in an email 'this journey will change your life' - and it did! Lucas guided us as guests into the realm of the wild animals of Botswana so that we felt close and welcome. With his extensive experience and profound knowledge of the entire fauna and flora he both taught and entertained us, but most memorable of all he led us to many overwhelming encounters with fascinating animals both big and small, including all the iconic safari mammals, but also rare species like wild dogs, many birds, and more. These encounters felt new, surprising, and somehow even more exciting every day. Our game drives usually started from and ended at our tent camps, where Lucas and his team, Mosa (the chef), Monametsi and Gisto, pampered us in every conceivable way and in a warm-hearted, almost family-like atmosphere. Delicious food and drinks, perfect camping facilities for the bush, very professional organization, and not to forget the smiles and laughter complemented our phantastic game drive experiences.

This trip was everything I wanted. Lucas and his team put together an amazing experience with great wildlife viewing, comfortable tents, delicious meals, and wonderful hospitality. Lucas, the owner and our guide, is deeply knowledgeable and offered clear, thoughtful interpretation of what we were seeing. He is clearly passionate about providing a first-rate experience, and we felt we were in good hands from beginning to end. For photographers like me, he was attentive to lighting and scene composition, often putting us at just the right spot for a great shot. The tents are spacious and the bedding is warm, and we enjoyed staying in camps amidst the wildlife. Food was plentiful and delicious, and I appreciated that all food and drinks (including beer, wine, and G&Ts) were included in the price (many tours charge extra for drinks and exclude some meals). I will definitely call on Lucas again when I go back to Botswana.

Lucas was absolutely incredible from start to finish. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with and made preparing for the safari so easy by sharing lots of really useful tips including a packing list. The safari itself actually exceeded my expectations (and I had relatively high expectations of Botswana)! Our safari vehicle was much better than any others we saw on safari. It's got some great modifications which make it perfect for photography! Plus, Lucas' team was fantastic. Our chef, Mosa, was a culinary genius and his food was so delicious. The rest of the team really went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable time mobile camping. The tents were also fantastic with comfy beds. Onto the safari, Lucas is an exceptional guide. He knows everything about the flora and fauna of Botswana and is really fantastic at tracking and understanding their behaviour. We saw every animal that we wished to see and more. My wish-list was wild dogs and leopards and we had incredible sightings of both! Wild For Game Safaris was absolutely amazing and I'd feel confident recommending them to anyone who wishes to go on safari in Botswana. I can't wait to come back and go on another safari with Lucas!

I have done a few safaris in different countries in the past, and this one did not impress me at all. The driver did not seem very skilled, and wasted a lot of time during game drives talking with other drivers/guides, making us lose time. The routes he took along the national park were not the best, since we did not see many animals… he was not really interested in looking for animals either. And last but not least, the accommodation was terrible. They stated to be “luxury tends” but they are anything like that. The mattress was as hard as a stone, and I woke up with back pain every morning…

disappointment! This safari experience is not worth the money. They were late picking us up from Maun airport. The car was just average and not as shown on their website and not the best for game drives. The guide was not very talkative and was not really giving much information about the animals... Not recommended

My wife and I went on safari with Lucas and his crew back in August 2021, and it was without question one of the best things we have ever done. We can't speak highly enough of Lucas. His passion for wildlife and conservation is second to none, and because he is an amazing photographer himself, he always stops at exactly the right spots and angles for you to get stunning pictures of the wildlife. He also excelled at providing a personalized experience for everyone in the group; some people wanted to see birds, others wanted the big game, one person even wanted to see bush babies. Lucas informed them that bush babies would be tough to spot, but he would do his best.. Lo and behold, Lucas found her some bush babies in an evening drive!! It was an absolutely amazing experience. In addition to his exceptional safari guide skills, he is an amazing person to be around, genuinely funny and charismatic! I cannot recommend Lucas enough, and the bush camping safari provides a way to see the animals up close and personal that a traditional safari camp can't provide. The accommodations were perfect and the food was awesome, especially considering the limited equipment that the chef has to work with! We thought that this trip was our once in a lifetime trip, but it was so amazing that we will definitely be back to see Lucas!! Thanks Lucas, Alex and Taylor

My wife's and my experience with Lucas on safari in Sept. of 2019 was nothing short of amazing. He is an outstanding guide, highly professional in every way, extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, and works extremely hard to ensure every guests' safety and satisfaction. He is an accomplished photographer in his own right, and goes out of his way to do everything he can to ensure his guests' expectations are exceeded. He is indeed a 5 star guide in every respect!!

I had an amazing time traveling through the north of Botswana this summer together with my family/friends and Lucas. It was an absolute dream of mine to visit Botswana and see the unbelieveble nature and wildlife that Botswana has to offer. During our 10 days of safari my expectations were by far exceeded. Lucas was an amazing guide and always knew where to go/stay and how long to wait there. It was impressive and very interesting to hear what he could tell us about basically anything we saw and also how he could answer literally any question we had. He does not only know a lot about the wildlife in Botswana, but was also able to bring all the information across in an understandable and fun way, being able to fully grab your attention (even when talking about topics I myself was not that interested in). In those 10 days we were able to see so many amazing animals including wild dogs with pups just after hunting an animal, Hyenas also with cubs directly next to our car, Lion cubs, a leopard with its cub and many more animals especially elephants, which we saw every single day (also with baby elephants). Also when resting during breakfast, dinner or lunch it was always fun to talk with Lucas and learn more about Botswana in general and some differences between Botswana and Germany/Europe. I would definitely recommend to everybody to book a trip with Lucas, as this was one of the most fun and interesting trips I have been on, but sadly it went by way too fast. If I could I would do a trip with Lucas again anytime.

Lucas is, without question, one of the best wildlife guides and drivers working in Botswana. He is knowledgeable, good-humoured and great company. He is excellent at finding wildlife and a good photographer in his own right. Everyone who chooses to see Botswana - and go on a wildlife drive with Lucas - is impressed by his both his professionalism and passion for the Okavango Delta and surrounding areas. I could not recommend him enough!

This was a holiday of a lifetime for us and I was slightly apprehensive about it as didn't know what to expect. I can honestly say I needn't have worried at all. The trip was absolutely incredible and the best experience I have ever had. Lucas was our guide and from picking us up at the airport to dropping us off, he was with us the whole time. This man is not only funny, charasmatic and an overall great guy, he also knows absolutely everything about the wildlife in Botswana and exactly where to find it. We saw everything we set out to see plus more. Lucas was so interesting with his knowledge on all the animals and birds we saw. I can't describe in words just how amazing this holiday was and it wouldn't have been the same without Lucas and his team to look after us. Too many things to mention as I would be writing for hours about this trip. It really was an experience I will never forget. For us it was expensive but I would do it again in a flash. If this is your thing, book the trip with this man. I can promise that you won't forget it and the memories will stay with you forever. Ps- we made friends for life with our campmates too

I always say that you can't argue with results and this was definitely one of those times. What an unbelievable experience with our guide Lucas leading the team. His skills and knowledge are second to non it was an absolute pleasure not only to experience the wildlife which was litteraly everything we could have imagined but the company within our camp that made it even more special.I couldn't recommend a trip with Lucas and his team highly enough. Lucas was the most amazing guide. Seeing wildlife in their natural habitats beats going to a ‘tick in the box’ big game park/reserve. Lucas’ knowledge of the natural environment was way beyond our expectations.

I had so many incredible experiences on this trip. It was very well organised and the staff catered to all our needs. Our guide, Lucas, was perfect; his knowledge of the flora and fauna was second to none as well as being polite, patient and easy-going.

We actually did this safari in 2019 with our friends and when Lucas and his team were working through Recreational Equipment Inc in Seattle. The safari was the same as the one shown here. It was a trip of a lifetime for us and our friends. Lucas and his team were outstanding and took care of every need. We are really happy we did a tent safari because you are right out their in the wilds of Botswana. Lucas and his team were so knowledgable about the wildlife and their habitat that it just added to the experience. We are so happy that Lucas has formed his own tour complany because he has so much to teach others about Botswana. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a real Botswana safari.

We joined Lucas on Safari in July/August of 2022. The whole system was flawless and comfortable, with a variety of delicious food cooked in the most basic open-air kitchen, terrific service, and attention to detail. Lucas spoke beautiful English. He was always on time, friendly, informative, and had an amazing eye for spotting wildlife. We, like most, wanted to bring home lasting memories and lots of pictures! My husband had a new camera with a huge lens, and I had my iPhone. Thanks to Lucas, we were able to get pictures and videos beyond all expectations. He had an eye for where to set up for the best lighting and the patience to wait for the shot. He would also take time to help my husband troubleshoot occasional camera difficulties . . . he made it all new and fresh and exciting.
