        Full day Moremi
We did a full day Moremi with Mosu Safari Tours. Communication with Kerny went perfect. Had a great safari in Moremi, we saw a big pride of lions with cubs, they even climbed in a tree. And we saw a leopard try to hunt a warthog, but it was to big for a succesfull hunt. Also the food during the trip was very good. There was a small accident when they took the table for lunch from the car wich resulted in my camera taking a fall from the seat, luckily only an adapter broke and not the camera itself. Mosu Safari Tours responded very professional on this incident with a refund of the adapter. Kerny once again was top in the communication afterwards. Would definitely recommend Mosu if you're looking for a safari into Moremi.

        Perfect mobile Safari in Botswana
wilddogs and wildcats, a serval and we even saw a leopard. We saw many birds and learned a lot about the animals. The food was so good we all gained weight. The Service, the tents and the car were just perfect and Kemy managed everything in a very professional manner. Going on Safari in Botswana? - this is your team- local, knowledgeable, service oriented and welcoming.

        14-day Zebra Tour 2024
The entire experience was incredible. I think tent camping is the best way to be immersed with the wildlife and culture. Mosu Safari took care of every detail for our family group of 10 (from my children all the way to my 80-year-old mother). I had low expectations for the food, but was pleasantly surprised with very yummy options. We took almost 1000 pictures each and saw almost every African animal and creature we were hoping to. The guides (& staff) were absolutely unstumpable, fun, yet the utmost professionals. The communication up until our departure and throughout was excellent And I cannot more highly recommend Mosu and this experience.

        Incredible warmth and professionalism
Words can hardly express how touched we were by the people and nature we encountered in Botswana. We did two tours with Mosu Safari Tours: 3 nights/4 days in Central Kalahari Desert and 4 nights/5 days in Kwai+Moremi. Kemy, our contact person, was top-notch from day one. She prepared a tailor-made itinerary that matched our wishes. She supported us all through our stay in Botswana, even when we were technically not doing "her" tours (we had some "free" time between the two safaris) and helped us book a tour to the salt pans near Gweta with another provider. She is a staggeringly efficent manager and a kind, welcoming presence all in one. The guys - the team consisting of the guide, the cook and the camp assistant were, we realised pretty quickly, the best we could get. Keyza, the guide, is one of the most (if not the most) experienced in the area, a local legend, we suspect, who is still incredibly energetic and full of love of his work. It was a privilege and a humbling experience to be introduced to the land and the animals by him. Odi, the camp assistant was the kindest and the most helpful guy. George made delicious vegetarian/vegan meals on an open fire in the middle of the bush for which we remain grateful. The guys made us feel safe and were at the same time up for laughs any time! Their hard work and competence is worthy of admiration.

Mosu Safari Tours for a FIRST CLASS, authentic mobile safari experience.
I just returned from Botswana and the 14 day Rhino Trail safari with Mosu Safari Tours. I have been wanting to take this trip since 2018 and that's a lot of time to build up one's expectations in their mind. Let me tell you, this trip exceeded every possible expectation tenfold! From the greeting at the Gaborone airport to the texts from Kemy, the general manager, wishing us safe travels home, the staff from Mosu were generous, kind, professional, and knowledgeable. A few acknowledgements.... Kemy - she is the general manager of the office in Maun and will be your contact as all arrangements are made. She replied to every inquiry within hours despite there being a 7 hour time differential with me in Houston. The guides speak of her with great respect. And when she greeted us at our one stop at the office her smile was just plain heartwarming. She is on top of every detail. Tebbe - Our guide for the main part of the trip. When we were handed off by our drivers from the Rhino Sanctuary part of the trip to the staff for the camping part of the safari Tebbe introduced himself and I knew from the smile, the demeanor, and the handshake that we were in great hands. There was only one question he did not immediately have the answer to, about some type of grass in the Savuti Marsh. Every other fact was on the tip of his tongue. He was a genius at finding the animals and was as patient as he was tenacious. He was kind, generous, strong, softspoken, experienced,...every thing you want from a guide. He was the "Man with the Plan". There are not enough superlatives to express my gratitude and respect for this man. O'Niel - our chef. The meals were beyond spectacular. We did not eat a single restaurant meal the rest of our tour that was any better than what O'Niel prepared for us over an open fire, in a Dutch Oven, or in that little tin baking oven of his. He was kind, helpful, hard working, talented, and a generous human being. He is also soft spoken but there is kindness in every gesture. Mpho - our camp assistant. This was Mpho's first safari out in the field after having worked for Mosu at the office for some time. I am not exaggerating when I say that he outdid himself making us feel like kings. Every need was met before we knew we needed it. His smile started each day off right. As Tebbe noted, you couldn't tell it was his first time in this role. Hard working, generous, happy, funny, and kind. I first contacted Mosu Safari Tours because I knew I wanted to go to Botswana and in 2018 they were a Trip Advisor Favorite. I followed the company on their website since then. I have come to trust Trip Advisor because the reviews, good and bad, have always been a perfect predictor of my experience. Only 2 bad reviews for Mosu and 166 glowing ones was again, the perfect predictor. This trip, and the people that made it come true, are the very best. I didn't think about it at the time but I am so glad that I booked with Mosu Safari Tours because they are a locally owned, Botswanan company. Rather than pay exorbitant fees to some international safari broker this money went straight into the economy of Botswana. These people, Oliver-the owner, Kemy, the office staff, the guides, chefs, and assistants have built a FIRST CLASS COMPANY. If you are a person that wants a real bush experience. If the thought of camping in the wild seems more authentic than sitting in a hot tub drinking wine watching elephants trudge by at an overpriced lodge. If you are really interested in seeing a LOT of wildlife. But you don't mind being treated well by a guide with 28 years experience, a professionally trained chef, and a highly motivated camp assistant. I implore you to give Mosu Safari Tours your business. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Exceptional experience with Mosu Safari Tours - this organisation provides an amazing trip!
My friend and I have experienced the most amazing tour with Mosu Safaris - way beyond expectations!!! We are two female friends who are retired, active and interested in wildlife. This superb tour was organised with Kemy the manager at Mosu and from our first contact she was so helpful and her level of organisation was absolutely superb. I had read several reviews on trip advisor and contacted some of those who made the posts, and all were unequivocal - this company is quite exceptional, Kemy communicated with us over the 6 months from booking to our arrival, using email and WhatsApp and was always prompt to respond to any queries and very friendly (a lovely ambassador for Botswana). Kemy met us at Maun airport and took us personally to Maun Lodge for the first 2 nights (our choice as with an overnight flight we wanted an extra day to recover). On the morning of our safari start we were met by Otee our guide and driver and taken to the office to meet Odee (camp assistant) and Dandy (cook). Kemy and Oliver (the director) briefed us before we left for the Nxai Pan. By the end of day 1 we realised that we had the 'Dream Team'... Otee was a really experienced guide and over the course of the safari we saw 2 leopards, wild dogs (very rare, on a kill and at the den with 2 week old puppies), lions (on kills), hyenas (at the den with puppies), elephants galore and a huge number of other animals and birds. Otee knew exactly where to position the vehicle for good viewing and photos. Odee made camping an absolute luxury with lots of hot water, hot showers, extremely comfortable beds (fresh sheets at every move of the camp), porta-potty at the back of the tent, carpet in the tent, a fire every morning and night time to sit and keep warm! Dandy is a fabulous chef, we ate 3 meals each day and all were cooked on the wood fire, porridge or muesli with yoghurt and coffee/tea before the game drive, cooked brunch or lunch and cooked evening meals, Salads were washed in bottled water which gave us confidence to eat everything and we had no problems throughout the tour. Dandy also baked his bread rolls using the wood fire - totally delicious!!! We had asked for a couple of nights on an island in the Okavango delta, and Dandy our cook came with us. The mokoro poler was also the guide for the morning bush walk, no guns and we felt quite safe as Karry obviously knew the area and animals and how close we could safely approach. After the island we were once again met by the rest of our 'Dream Team' and went for 3 night to Moremi, 2 nights at Kwai Concession, 3 nights in Savuti and then on the last morning Otee drove us to meet the transport to Kasane. We were genuinely sorry to say goodbye as these guys were just lovely and gave us the trip of a lifetime. At Kasane Kemy had arranged for us to stay riverside at Sandpiper villas and after doing a little shopping from local market stalls (souvenirs to take home) we went on a late afternoon cruise on the Chobe river. It was magical to watch a family of elephants swimming across the river with some very young individuals. Finally Kemy had organised for us to be uplifted and taken across the border to Zimbabwe and Victoria Falls. The crossing was done early in the morning to avoid delays and we had the day to explore Victoria Falls - definitely worth a visit. I am SO impressed with Mosu Safari Tours, this organisation is exceptional. I absolutely recommend that anyone visiting Botswana should contact them - the organisation is superb and prices extremely reasonable. This is a totally genuine review and I would be happy to be contacted by anyone reading this and intending to follow up with a booking - the company deserve the highest recommendation. Kemy, we are indebted to you, you really did give us the 'Dream Team' and the holiday of a lifetime. Thank you so much!!!

        Wonderful Camping Experience
Shaba and his team picked us up at Maun and we drove to Khwai Reservation and to Savuti in Chobe. A total of four nights in the bush in field camps. Kemy and her team organised the trip impeccably, the camps were comfortable and the camp helpers were both wonderful people. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Mosu Safari Tours … the Absolute Best There Is!
Mosu Safari Tours delivered to my wife and me the most treasured safari experience we have ever enjoyed. From start to finish what we were provided with was way, way beyond our expectations … and we started going on safaris some 35 + years ago. Every day we marveled at the cheerfulness and professionalism of our three man team. Should we be fortunate enough to return to Botswana one day, there is absolutely no other company that we would choose to organize our safari. No need to look any further. Mosu Safari Tours is the absolute best. Thank you. Thank you.

        An unforgettable trip!
Me and my mom did an 11 days tour with mosu safaris and we had the best time ever. Kemy helped us plan everything very well and she was also so patient with us! We saw a lot of animals and because we were camping we felt very close to nature and made unique experiences with hearing animal sounds and seeing them close to us. Still, I felt safe during the whole trip because the guys know what they are doing. Apart from providing excellent service as a cook, a guide and being responsible for the camp, George, Thebi and Odee were very nice company. Really really nice and funny guys that made the trip an unforgettable experience.

        Great experience! Highly recommended
Mosu Safari made our 12-day holiday with my family amazing. We went to Victoria Falls and went to different National parks in Botswana. We had the opportunity to see a lot of animals with their babies, was great! We learned a lot about Botswana and its animals thanks to the patience of our guide Tebi, and we ate a lot of delicious food on firewood (thanks to Dandy :) the best chef ever). The attention, the food, and the service exceeded our expectations. The staff at Mosu Safari made our stay in Botswana incredible. Thanks to Tebi, Joe, Dandy, Mapelo, and Kemi for pampering us and making our trip unforgettable. The value for money, service, and attention is very good. Mosu Safari is highly recommended, they make an unforgettable holiday possible.

        Best life experience. Highly recommended.
Mosu Safais is the most professional and amazing safari company in the world. I traveled with my family and did a 12-day safari and I highly recommend it. Monsu staff is outstanding and professional. Our guide Teby was amazing, he knew everything about animals and took the time to answers all our questions and more importantly he respect the animals and knew how to interact with them. Thanks to his commitment and patience we saw all types of animals. Dandy was the best chef ever, he cooked amazing meals for us. All the meals were 5 starts (much better than any meal we had in restaurants or in at any hotel). Joe and Taparo, made the campsite our new cozy home, the tents where always clean and comfortable. They take care of us with love patience and happiness. To sum up, if you want to have the best experience of your life choose mosu safari. You will never regret it. And you will never forget it.

        Mobile camping safari made easy
As a first-time, solo traveler in Botswana, the logistics behind setting up a mobile camping safari seemed daunting. Kemy and the team at Mosu made it easy, and I was happy to be supporting a local operator. We spent about a week together, mostly in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. One of the most memorable experiences I’ve had. Thanks team.

A group of 6 of us went on the 3-day overnight Mokoro trip in July 2023. We were greeted at the office in Maun by really friendly staff before Kemy told us all about what we would do on the trip. We then were taken in vehicles to the Mokoros where we met with the local delta people who were to be our guides for the three days.

We went out in the mokoros with a crew of about 10-15 people plus the six of us. This included two chefs, three guides for our mokoros, and then several other mokoros which carried all of our gear. We were given the most amazing food, the tents were spacious and comfortable, and the views were unbelievable.

Over the three days, we hardly had to lift a finger as our guides were so helpful. We went on a number of amazing nature walks, seeing elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, buffalo, to name a few. Not only that but our guides gave us ample information on every question we had as we went. Other activities included trips in the mokoro amongst hippos and crocodiles, swimming in the delta (completely safe), and eating the best food we’ve ever had.

I cannot recommend Mosu safari tours enough. They were efficient, friendly, safe, and are the best value for money that you will find. As a group of six Irish men, we are all in full agreement that this was the highlight of our two month trip in southern-Africa. Thank you to everyone!

Thanks to MOSU SAFARI TOURS, we spent three unforgettable days in the middle of the Okawango Delta!

Top communication already during the booking and payment, then a very nice, personal meeting with Kemy a day before the trip in the Maun lodge, and finally a perfectly organised trip. The tented camp was in a great location (a herd of elephants passed by several times to feed barely 10 metres away), the camp crew provided us with excellent food, and 'Top Gun' was a stroke of luck with his knowledge as our local guide on our discovery tours on foot and in the mokoro.

Conclusion: Many thanks to the whole team, and I can recommend it unreservedly to any nature lover who is hungry for adventure!

We had a wonderful trip in the Okavango with Mosu Safari Tours. We saw so many animals and birds and felt completely safe the entire time. Communication beforehand by Kemy was excellent. Our cook and camp hostess, Temptation, was an absolute gem and really went out of her way to make the experience as good as it could possibly be, even helping celebrate my sister's birthday in the most wonderfully memorable way. Our community guides were mostly friendly and were keen to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. The camp was very comfortable and the food was outstanding. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone wanting a beautiful immersive delta experience.

Totally recommend this 3 day mokoro camping safari. There was just the two of us and we loved it.
Tony and Kemy from Mosu Safari Tours briefed us on what to expect the day before we went in, and on the trip itself we were superbly looked after by Joe (Mosu staff member) and well fed by George (our cook). We also very much enjoyed the company, and helpful support provided by our mokoro polers, and Emanuel, our knowledgeable guide and tracker on the game walks.
We really liked the fact that the mokoro polers and the nature guide were drawn from local villages on the edge of the delta and that these communities were benefiting as a result - eco-tourism as it should be.
We also found it rewarding to be fully immersed in the environment and interacting with game animals on foot (as opposed to the more contrived and slightly voyeuristic norm of driving around and observing game from the comfort and protection of a vehicle). Whilst this undoubtedly induced higher adrenalin levels at times (coming as we do from a country with no dangerous wild animals) we never felt the least bit unsafe.

I am so glad I booked a tour with Mosu Safari Tours. From start to finish, they were professional, helpful and very quick to respond to my questions. Kemy, in particular was very helpful and always responded to questions within a couple of hours.

The team met me for a briefing at my hotel the day before the tour which was so nice as it gave me chance to ask questions and understand how the tour would work.

On the day, I was picked up and driven to the delta where we boarded our mokoros and went into the delta to our camp site.

The team who looked after us, including our tour guides TopGun and Gee, and the chefs Simon and Kay, were amazing. Our guide was so knowledgeable and absolutely loves wildlife. His enthusiasm was infectious and he was able to answer all of our questions. The food we had in camp was delicious and always plentiful. I had the most incredible experience seeing so many elephants, hippos, crocs, giraffes, antelope and more amazing birds than I could count - kingfishers, hornbills, herons, egrets, storks, pelicans, lilac-breasted rollers, fish eagles.

The sunset safaris in the mokoro and the morning bush walks were particularly special. It was incredible to be so immersed in nature.

The guides do not carry weapons or guns of any kind but I felt safe at all times - especially important as a solo female traveller - and slept really well. It was incredible to hear elephants, hippos, lions etc in the night. One of the most special experiences of my life. I will definitely use Mosu Safari Tours again.

We went with Mosu on a 3 day/2 night Mokoro safari into the Okovango Delta, and had an amazing experience. The tour was well organised, communication throughout the lead-up was excellent with very quick replies to any questions, and all the staff we dealt with were friendly, helpful and hard-working.

Kemi was always quick off the mark to respond to queries in booking process and about logistics before we went, and it was a nice touch that she visited us at our hotel in night before our trip to answer any queries.

I think because we were quite early in the season (end of April), we ended up with just the two of us on the trip, which made us feel very spoilt with our guide, a chef, a second guide and another assistant taking us on the trip. All of them were lovely, and made us feel very spoilt. It was really interesting to sit round a fire with them in the evening under the starlight, with hippos bellowing nearby, and hear about their villages, experiences and culture.
