Overview
Set out on an adventure of a lifetime with this 4-hour ATV tour through Box Canyon in Florence, Arizona. Travel past the Tortilla Mountains as you follow your guide on a 34-mile (54717-meter) drive through Box Canyon. Along the way see petroglyphs left over from the ancient Native Americans, as well as an old post office built in the mid-1800s. Pass by the Butterfield Overland Stage Coach Company’s way station from 1860 and an old miners’ building, too.
What to Expect

Meet your group and guide at the time you chose for your tour. Listen to a short safety briefing before you get your helmet, goggles, and gloves. Follow your guide in your easy-to-operate automatic ATV through the mountains and into Box Canyon where the real fun begins.

The trail is about 34 miles (54717 meters) long. Ride through gorgeous areas of the canyon stopping at several spots for picture opportunities. See an old adobe building that used to serve as a way station for the Butterfield Overland Stage Coach Company during the 1860s. Pass by an old miners’ building and a post office built in the 1800s. Plus, see historical petroglyphs left over from the ancient Native Americans up close.

This trip really is an adventure. The canyon walls you drive through sometimes reach up to 1500-feet (457-meters) high, and cacti and rocky terrains are everywhere. Your guide is also super experienced to help you through all weather conditions, such as the heat or rain.

An Awesome ATV Adventure!

Had a great time. Our guide made sure we were comfortable riding and new how to use the ATV. It was exciting but never scary. Box Canyon was beautiful.

Beautiful Box Canyon

The ride through Box Canyon was incredible, very beautiful. As far as the ATV experience, not so good. ATV's are old, dirty, wore out and most of them have serious, smelly exhaust issues. The companies run these machines until they are totally shot. Very disappointed...More

I believe that they also offer a tour nearer to Sedona. Florence is south of Sedona fair distance. It is about an hour and a half North of Tucson.
