Full Day Tour to the Perito Moreno Glacier including Boat Safari
From US$128.00

See Perito Moreno Glacier on a guided tour that explores one of Patagonia’s most spectacular glaciers from all angles. With transportation to and from Los Glaciares National Park included, the guided tour encompasses a hike to the best viewpoints and a sail beneath the towering icebergs on a boat cruise.

What to Expect

Your tour begins with morning pickup from your central El Calafate hotel. Set out on a scenic bus journey to Los Glaciares National Park, with guided commentary pointing out highlights of the Patagonian landscape.

On arrival, follow your guide along the park’s trails and take in the national park’s dramatic topography, including glacial streams, jagged peaks, and white walls of ice. At the first viewpoint, you see Perito Moreno’s 200-foot (60-meter) cliffs of ice, with icebergs bobbing below. The glacier changes constantly, so you might hear it creaking and cracking, or see slabs breaking off into the water.

Next, set sail across Lago Argentina on a 1-hour boat cruise, which offers a different perspective of the glacier, allowing you to take in its looming size. After a cruise around the glacier lagoons and floating icebergs, return to the mainland and your bus.

Your tour ends with drop-off at your El Calafate hotel.

Overpriced tour

Do not get me wrong. The visit to Perito Moreno is simply spectacular. But this tour is at least 50% overpriced. They simply get you there in a bus and then take you to a port to take a 1h boat ride that you can...More

Excellent tour!

This tour was just what we were looking for! We hit all the interesting spots on the way to Perito Moreno, and there was plenty of time to walk around on the balconies looking over the glacier. The tour guide, Nadia, was not only helpful,...More

Hi. It is very tight, airport is 20 minutes from town. Pick up at hotels and hostels starts quite early (8:50 am). You´d need to take a direct cab and would not have time to check in your hotel
