Explore Johannesburg on your own time in a flexible way by booking this 1- or 2-day ticket on a hop-on hop-off bus. Ride around the city with commentary in 15 languages expounding on the history, culture, and modern life in this South African metropolis, hopping off whenever you like to explore further on your own. Choose a 1- or 2-day ticket depending on your schedule and budget.
What to Expect
Access the ticket office and main terminus point in Rosebank by using either the world class high speed "Gautrain" or the complimentary, branded shuttle operating from selected hotels in Sandton and Melrose Arch or reach it using your rented car.

Once you have boarded our double-decker bus, we begin the tour on the Green Route which visits the leafy Northern suburbs stopping at Zoo Lake, the Johannesburg Zoo and the Military Museum before reaching Constitution Hill. This is also the interchange point to join the Red City Tour that visits downtown Johannesburg. Stops on this route include the "Roof of Africa" viewing deck on the 50th floor of the Carlton Center, the James Hall Transport Museum, the Gold Reef City Theme park, the Apartheid Museum, SAB World of Beer, the Origins Center at Wits university and Braamfontein (home of the NeighbourGoods Market on a Saturday morning) before returning to the interchange point at Constitution Hill.

Choose from a 1 day or 2 Day valid ticket, each of which let you hop on and off the bus as many times as you like during the specified ticket period. Tickets are validated starting with the time of first use.

I found the tour to be a little pricey for what we got, especially since we still had to pay entrance to majority of the attractions. However, the drive through the city was really nice and we were able to see a number of beautiful...More

No map as such but its well guided and goes on a good route. Obvious stops are Constitution Hill/prison but otherwise hop on and off as the fancy takes you. Allow a full day to do it properly.
