This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Rainforest Chocolate Tour, Road to Waterfall of La Fortuna, In Front of Cabinas La Catarata, Arenal Volcano National Park, La Fortuna de San Carlos 856-3000 Costa Rica

Considered as "a gift of the Gods", the cacao tree was very important to the ancient culture. It was not only used as a ceremonial drink, but its seeds were also used as currency because of its economic value, in many regions of Mesoamerica, including Costa Rica.

In this 2-hour “hands on” program, you'll have the opportunity to learn interesting aspects of cocoa and chocolate, from its origin and history, participating in all the production process, from the harvesting of the fruit, drying and grinding of the seed, also the developing of the traditional drink of our ancestors, and of course enjoying a high quality organic chocolate.

Pros: Dr. Kevin (Dr. Chocolate) was super knowledgeable about the history and whole process of how we get chocolate from cacao. We got to see every stage of the process in real life which was awesome. The tastings are good, but you can tell they were made naturally. Only reason

This was one of my bucket list things and it was worth every minute. Those people really understand the value of nature and the respect we have to embed when dealing with it. Although the tour was about chocolate, the guide never left out the importance of nature. Keilor!

I can not express how fun this tour was. We where expecting a quick somewhat boring tour. The reason for that was because it was raining and there where only 4 of us on the tour. Boy where we wrong!! Kaylor was our guide AKA El Chapo Guapo. He made this experience worth while.

Amazing!!!! The tour guide was kind, informative, and funny. We came at rainy season, so we got lucky and it turned into a private tour. The plantation is gorgeous and the chocolate is delicious. I'd recommend to any chocolate lovers!

Was a great tour in a small cocoa farm. We got to try grinding the chocolate and eating it raw (with sugar) and then with melted chocolate we were able to add all of our favourite toppings and eat as much as we want. It was interesting to see how the chocolate is processed and
