Wonderful way to get to know Mobile
If you are considering this tour...go. Be aware some of the restaurants have changed from the Tripadvisor description but it makes no difference. My wife and I from out of state attended on a Friday afternoon and were joined by 12 other people. Our guide Cynthia was simply great. Witty, warm, knowledgeable, and an all around great host. The tour says "Bites" in the name, but trust me you get more than a bite in each location. We had fried green tomatoes, biscuits, bahn mi, nuts, oysters, fried pickles, BBQ ribs, wings, praline, and beignets. Good heavens it should be called the Bienville BULGE! There is a fair amount of walking along the way to help you digest and take in the history of Mobile. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.

      Lots of fun!
We had a wonderful time doing the downtown food tour. My husband is from Mobile and another couple from Mobile joined us. The tour guide, Bella, was very informative and fun. We learned a lot about the food, culture and heritage of Mobile. It really was a great experience and I recommend to visitors as well as those who live in the area!

      This is a must do!
Whether you are from Mobile or visiting, I highly recommend this food tour. My husband and I did this tour with another couple, and it was such a fun way to experience different restaurants and learn about some historical landmarks in downtown Mobile. Bella was our tour guide, and I cannot say enough good things about her. Not only was she very knowledgeable about different facts about Mobile, she was easy going and a delight to be around. We will definitely do this tour again.

Excellent Tour with an Excellent Guide!
The communication from the time I made the initial contact about setting up a private tour for 17 people was great. The owner took the time to answer any questions I had about the tour and even the area where the tour was to take place. On the day of the tour we met Bella our guide for the tour. To say Bella was perfect for our group would be an understatement!!! She provided us with a wealth of information about Mobile, Mardi Gras, and our food stops. Everyone in our group of 17 all agreed she was simply amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour and Bella! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from our whole group.

      Best Walking Food Tour
So great!!! Lee Hanks was our very informative host who shared his vast knowledge of local history, fun inside tidbits of lesser known stories, and the best selection of delish foods.! We highly recommend Bienville Bites, and having Lee as our guide was an extra bonus! Five stars? We give it 10!!!

My son and I had a wonderful time learning about Mobile's history and cuisine with Cynthia. We stopped at 7 places, all with great local food. Recommendation: come to this food tour hungry because there is A Lot of food served at each stop.

      Great Experience!
I booked a private tour for my mom's 70th birthday with her friends and they had the best time! Everyone enjoyed the food, the history and the fellowship. Special thanks to the tour guide, Bella. They all said she was amazing! If you are visiting or a local, I highly recommend booking a tour. It's a great way to explore the city.

Our guide did not over indulge us with history or food....just the right amount of each. We have taken food trips around the world and thus one was great. Food was awesome...king cakes and champagne to start and beignets to end...could I'd be better. Oh yeah..Mardi grass parade premier setting.

We enjoyed the guided tour and quality of the restaurants and the food sampled. This is a wonderful way to see parts of Mobile that we're sure we would not normally see. What a wonderful idea for the area.
Thank you Chris and Laney for a marvelous time.

I really enjoyed this food tour. I loved the rich history of Mobile. I enjoyed being exposed to new food and trying something new. The husband and wife team were super friendly. I loved talking to them and meeting new people. The champagne and king cake rocked. I enjoyed having a private area to watch the parade. I am looking forward to taking the other tours they offer.

This was an awesome tour. The portions were more than ample. We were stuffed full at the end of the tour. We really enjoyed being able to watch the afternoon parades from the front porch of the house. The guides were excellent.

Based on other trip advisor reviews, booked this tour with 3 Minnesota friends. It was worth it! Got some fun facts about Mobile and Mardi Gras, plus tastes of some fun Mobile food. The drink package for an extra $10 gave us a fun tropical run drink, a vodka strawberry lemonade, a bloody Mary and champagne. A cute husband and wife operate this business and do a great job. We even got King Cake and champagne at the end to watch the parade with. Now I want to do the LoDa tour.

This tour was one of the best I have taken. It would be fun with a friend or solo. We got to explore Mobile and learn about Mardi Gras as well as taste local cuisine. Laney and Chris were wonderful guides and the time passed so quickly.

The food tour gave us ideas on where to take friends and family when they visited. We are snowbirds but the locals on our group said they were told things they didn’t know about the history.

We topped off the day with a parade, Champagne and King Cake. Thanks again Laney and Chris!!!!!!
