Firstly, me and my friend went to India for the golden Triangle and we had the best experience with this Company for the whole trip. Our driver Monu was fantastic, explained everything and was very friendly. He was with us through the whole trip Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Delhi. For two girls we felt very safe on the trip.
Everything went to plan and the hotels were lovely, the price for the whole trip was very affordable.
Taj Mahal was definitely the best day, i didn't mind getting up at 4.30am for that!
One thing to let you know is if the tour guides take you to the souvenir outlets and you get sick just tell them no more please. As we had to do that in the end sometimes its abit too much but that's not the company's fault its the guide in the different city's taking you there.
Overall the trip was great and the Driver made the trip even better really friendly and helpful. Ask for Monu as your driver if you want a great eperience

As a time poor solo female traveller I wanted a flexible, safe and informative service through India’s ‘Golden Triangle’. After reading many TripAdvisor reviews I picked Ecstatic India Tours (Heritage Tours and Travels).
Vishal was very patient tailoring my ever changing itinerary and answering my questions and was always quick to respond. The quoted prices were better than other companies offering the same itinerary.
Ashok was an amazing driver and got me through the craziness of Indian roads and (and cattle) safely and without incident in the air conditioned van. He was friendly company on the long drives sharing great conversation and keeping me and my belongings safe.
Maninder was my Delhi private tour guide. He was very polite and safely got me through the narrow streets and markets of Old Delhi, a stress free experience to remember.
Adil was my guide in Agra. He is an Instagrammer’s dream. He knew a lot about the sites in Agra and where to get the best shot.
Narender, my local guide in Jaipur, was more like a friend showing me around his city. It was a personal, relaxing experience to remember with so much more additional information provided about the sights than expected and friendly general conversation about life.
All local tour guides were in very close contact with Ashok, who was ready and waiting for us when we returned from exploring.
All hotels and restaurants I was taken to were perfect and the food was delicious.
I have returned a safe, healthy and happy traveller who has now been enriched by India and her people.
I could not recommend Ecstatic India enough to anyone wishing to travel through India.
Ps, for those looking for estimated spend I went through approx 5000 rupees a day (food/drink, monument entry fees, tips and souvenirs).

We found on most occasions that credit or debit cards were not accepted and that as tourists, we were being charged an inflated rate over our Indian counterparts. It would be useful to advice your guests that they need to carry a significant amount of cash as this is not the norm for us.
There seems to be a great disconnect between the tour guides urging them urging us to tip at every point on the tour and the government policy signs to the contrary.
We were brought to the trade shops to see Indian craftsmanship which was nice but then put in a position where we were expected and pressured to make significant purchases.

Two of us did the tour & I would say, definitely ask for Ashook as he treated us like friends and not clients. The company is good and reliable. Would recommend them for anyone doing India.
Things to keep in mind:
*I would say confirm your itinerary before you arrive in order to know everybody is on
the same page.
*Make sure all the attractions mentioned are available

From the onset of our tour with Heritage India Tours the presentation and travel with all the different guides was excellent. Shailendra communicated with us to advise of any changes and to ascertain that we were happy with our guides and our transport and accomodation. We recieved several bonus's on our way with our accomodation and transport. I would highly recommend Heritage India Tour and Shailendra to organise and provide with your travel arrangements in India.

Our recent trip to Rajasthan was a wonderful one. Right from our first contact email to Vishal from Heritage India Holidays, we were provided with excellent service.
We spent a week travelling from Delhi to Agra to Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur. We had a good driver to get us from ‘A to B’, who met us at the airport with a placard, which made arriving in a very busy airport very straightforward and manageable! Baba the driver was a responsible, safe and helpful driver.
We chose the 3-star hotel package, all of which were very clean, spacious, with excellent food, WiFi and other facilities.
We were 2 ladies travelling alone and at no point felt unsafe and our safety was never compromised.
We had a different tour guide for each city, Dinesh in Jaipur, Anand in Agra, were excellent. Feel free to tell the guides that you are interested in shopping, they do talk about it a bit and put some pressure. I found it easy to say a firm no if I felt like.
I found the packages that Vishal and his team offered to be the best value. Vishal was helpful and is only a phone call away for any queries. Our experience in travelling in Rajasthan was an unforgettable one, and I would highly recommend traveling With Heritage Tours India!! I am looking forward to doing another trip with Vishal and company, probably other parts of Rajasthan.

My friend and I visited India and did the Golden Triangle tour. From landing in the airport to leaving to fly home our experience was hassle and stress free. Our driver Monu met us at Delhi airport. We were collected in a very nice clean and comfortable car.
Throughout our tour we felt very safe with Monu. He was a good English speaking driver and very friendly. We were met by different tour guides each day to explore the different destinations of our tour (Delhi, Agra and Jaipur). All of the guides has good levels of knowledge and expertise and we felt comfortable with all of them.
The hotels that we stayed in were all of a brilliant standard. Overall the trip was very affordable especially for the standard of hotel in which we stayed (the 5* option). When one of the hotels was overbooked we were upgraded to an even better standard.
The company also helped us out a sticky situation in which we were conned into buying a fake rug for a lot of money!!! They ensured that our money would be safely returned, it was and we are very grateful for this.
Just beware of the shops that you are taken to in which you are encouraged to buy things, some are not all legitimate. This is not the tour operators fault just something that is culture in india.
Overall a great experience thankyou!!!

This 4-day tour Delhi/Agra/Jaipur was nicely organised by Vishal from Ecstatic India Tours.com (Division of Heritage India Tours & Travels ). The selected 3-star hotels were good. The driver Mukesh was a safe and very polite driver, on time every time and spoke good English.
Although I flew in on Delhi and left via Jaipur (which saved my 5 hrs in the car), the tour is still very much packed and car-based. Looking back, apart from the Delhi Chandni chowk market area, it was difficult to sample the atmosphere. In and out of the car at the tourist highlights.
About the guides (new guide in every city) and the itinerary:
- Delhi & Fatepur Sikri: enthousiastic and high quality.
- Agra and Jaipur: more focused on delivering the tour asap and skipping some elements without discussing with me upfront, which did not feel right (although their arguments turned out valid most of the time). Like do you want to see another tomb at Sikandara, if you have done 1 in Delhi and 2 in Agra?
- Happy to have stopped at Chand Baori in between Agra and Jaipur. Also broke the long car journey a bit.
In general I would have liked to be able to choose from alternatives in the touristic places . E.g. in Jaipur we decided to skip the city Palace and at that point a small walking tour to taste the atmosphere would have been a nice alternative. In the end I walked through the bazaar on my own after the guide finished his services. So it felt at multiple times that the agreed itinerary upon booking and the guide were not aligned. This can be good to bring in the local guide's expertise and should be done in consultation with the traveller, at a point in time it is still sensible to choose.
I would have liked options like: 'alternatively you can visit' or 'if time permits' with some options, nothing that visiting all is not an option.
Also the visits to souvenir outlets felt quite awkward. Just 1 souvenir outlet a day I might be able to manage but 2-3 a day is over the top, especially when exposed to the heavy sales pitch. I needed to insist a few times that I did not wanted another 'demonstration' with next-door shop.
Overall the tour was nicely organised and I hold warm memories of this part of India.
