The Algerian Sahara is unique, colorful, and fascinating, and the Tassili N'Ajjer National Park with its scenic dunes, canyons, and 'forests of rock' is probably the best place to delve into this beauty. But to feel the touch of the desert you have to go deep into its vastness and this is what Mouflon travel did for us. The tour was very well organized and everything went smoothly all the way. Our group of 13 photographers - hikers was accompanied by an incredible Tuareg team who catered to all our needs and wishes: five cars with their drivers, the cuisine team with our precious cook, who kept us happy and full all day, and, the heart of the group, our guide. The whole team was excellent, very helpful, friendly, and warmly welcoming. Salam, the tour guide, was very competent and fluent in English, always eager to share his extensive knowledge of the area, the Tuareg culture as well as the rock art and the history of the ancient Sahara traditions. A real pleasure to be with... Imagine delicious customary food in very carefully chosen locations, sweety desert tea to keep you strong and warm, our good company around the night fire, storytelling, moving traditional music and dance followed by the big ending of the day: sleeping in tents under the starry sky surrounded by complete stillness! Took the whole family to Algeria (6 of us aged 53 to 10). We spent almost a week in the Hoggar mountains being expertly guided by the Mouflon team. It felt properly adventurous sleeping out under the stars, climbing mountains, watching amazing sun rises. Simply stunning part of the world. Mouflon arranged and managed our trip perfectly, from the moment we stepped off the flight at Tamanrasset. We had every confidence in them as they navigated some 'interesting' country. I was very happy to have found Mouflon Tourisme through a recommendation on the internet. As a solo traveler to Tamanrasset, I had no idea what to do or where to go. I struck a good deal for a very reasonable amount per day and they took care of everything: My stay, pick-up and drop-off at the airport, food, transportation, tents, sheets, blankets, amazing hikes and all fees. I had a small crew at my disposal and had the amazing opportunity to go camping inside the Sahara desert for multiple days. Among others, my tour included sleeping under a star-sprinkled sly, feeding wild camels and donkeys, visiting the Assekrem hermitage, amazing rocky formations, ancient rock paintings from our ancestors, cozying up around the fire and drinking Touareg tea. Special thanks to Mabrouk our chef cook, Amoud the guide that never gets lost and Imad my translator and companion during the trip! You guys were amazing!

As a pqrt of my trip to Algeria I also undertook two days trip from Tamanrasset to Assekrem with Mouflon Tourisme agency. It was really big experience with experienced driver, very good English + French speeking guide Moustafa and cook who made very good traditional meals. The nature around Assekrem is really beutiful and sunsets and sundawns are breathtaking. I am very satisfied with services of Mouflon Agency and really can reccommend it to future visitors.

I had an excellent experience with Mouflon on a two-day excursion to Assekrem and other points in the Ahaggar National Park from Tamanrasset. Guide Saleh, driver (also) Saleh, and cook Muhammad accompanied me on the tour and were great every step of the way. The amazing scenery was always worth the trip—made better by the gracious hospitality shown by Mouflon staff, including the delicious and varied meals. I highly recommend Mouflon for tours in this unique area of Algeria.

Six of us travelled from DJANNET to explore the high plateau area on foot.The area was deserted, spectacular and both astonishing and rugged in the extreme. We had a group of donkeys and a wonderful team for the seven day walk-shout outs to Hamid ( the lead guide and unfailingly charming, helpful and supportive), Mubarak(master chef with delicious suppers), Ibrahim ( high quality drumming on a water can ),Walid ( top quality singer),Musa(the travelling salesman who rescued me in the dark), Ali( unfailingly courteous who slowly walked along and always outpaced me!) etc. All came from DJANNET and were wonderfully supportive travelling companions-no higher compliment could be paid!

We have just has a week on Tassili Plateau with Mouflon Tourisme. I want to tell you all that you have exceeded in every way our best expectations. The Plateau itself was exciting and we learned and were inspired. But the great praise should go to your team that guided and looked after us, led by Alitar and Hamed, with the talented Mubarak as chef, plus 4 support and donkey drivers, every one of whom we could also recommend. Your team did more than we could have hoped at every opportunity. On several occasions they introduced a new and unexpected element into the programme including a memorable final supper in the dunes. They also covered a possible crisis with authority and good sense, when one of our party was ill. We are all six of us very well travelled and experienced. WE come from Greece, Denmark, UK, Hong Kong, and Ireland. None of us has found a better guiding team. They say that Imuhar/Tuareg compete with eachother as hosts for guests…In my view Mouflon Tourisme has won that contest. I am happy for this reference to be used whenever you wish.

My experience with Mouflon Agency in Tamanrasset has been absolutely positive. It was the first time I had taken part in a tour in the desert of the Tassili N'Ajjer National Park and they took care of managing both my tourist visa and the plane transfers from Algiers to Djanet and back. Both with the national company Air Algeria. Adnane has been very diligent with this. The program I enjoyed was the 5-day program in Tadrart and it has been a wonderful experience in all aspects. The beauty of the place, the specialness of this place has been thanks to the work of the guide Moktad, the work of Soleiman's stewardship, and the wisdom and great experience of Lassen, a great connoisseur of the desert. The team is very professional and respectful at all times with the National Park. I have been made aware of the importance of such a historic and extraordinary place in the world as Tassili N'Ajjer. I am very grateful for their effort and commitment to this tour.

I first contacted Mouflon to arrange a private group tour back in June. Initially they were friendly and responsive, although a bit slow. I'd often wait days to get a reply to my emails, but otherwise, all seemed well. However, as the weeks went by, replies to my emails took longer and longer. Despite that, I really did want to book a tour with them. When I finally communicated that I wanted to finalize plans, and confirm my dates, they went radio silent. I waited over a week, with no response, and tried contacting them again. They replied a few days later with a bizarre email that contained a completely different itinerary than what we had agreed weeks earlier, and no actual response to my email. Its now been a full 3 weeks since my email, and zero response. They seem to be ghosting me altogether for mystery reasons.

To our incredible Mouflon Tamanrasset team. I didn’t know it was possible to visit other planets on Earth. Witnessing the first rain, our Udad sighting, and the thunderstorm at the summit of Assakrem will live on in my mind forever. Mohammed, thank you for keeping us well fed with your beautiful fresh salads, warm green wheat soup and fresh bread. I did not expect to eat so well in the desert! Abdul-Karim, the best driver in Algeria, (Ali agrees). Thank you for navigating through the desert with such ease and comfort. I still have no idea how you knew where to go, but I always had faith you were leading us somewhere special. Mustafa, our guide and wiseman, thank you for explaining these other worldly landscapes to us slowly and with considered detail. Time slowed down as we listened and looked, stretching our three days into a week. The scenes were out of this world. To the legendary Mouflon “Crazy Team” in Djanet. Salam, Ali and Hussein. You went above and beyond to make every moment so very special. I have been dreaming of a trip into the desert for years, and our time in Tasilli N’Ajir far exceeded anything I could have imagined. Gazing over infinite golden dunes, sleeping under the stars, driving through blushing green sand, that giant double rainbow (!!), and climbing into caves to see the spookiest most beautiful ancient art work was almost too much for me to handle! I was overwhelmed with gratitude many times, and fortunately had my husband Daniel by my side to remind me this was all real. Thank you for taking care of us, keeping us safe, entertained and in awe of your beautiful desert. I have a book full of Temeshek phrases and stories to bring home to Australia. You must believe me!! Adnan, you run a tight ship, and I can tell you have hand selected a brilliant team. I am certain the Mouflon Agency will continue to thrive with you at the helm. We have told our friends!

Myself and my girlfriend took a 6 day 4X4 trip with Salaam, Dachmal and Hassan in March 2024 in Tassili N'Ajjer national park. We had the most incredible time, down to the wonderful itinerary, great conversations over Tuareg tea, and comfortable camps with delicious food. We had great fun driving in the Jeep together, learning all about the history and seeing the most amazing dunes and ancient cave drawings. Salaam is an amazing guide - so knowledgable, patient and so friendly and interested in the world around him. Dachmal's skills driving through the rough desert were seriously impressive, and we really enjoyed passing the time in evening the playing games and learning from him. The food was absolutely delicious thanks to Hassan's great cooking - we made our trip during Ramadan so we really appreciated that we were still able to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with the guys. We had fresh salads every day, beautiful soups, and we made sand bread which was a highlight. We would recommend this trip to everyone - the scenery is completely unbelievable, it was beautiful sleeping under the stars in our cosy tent listening to the silence of the dessert, and the company was great. 10/10!

The company runs a fantastic operation. We booked a 2-day, 1-night tour to Assekrem, and we felt like VIPs from the start with our own 4x4, driver/guide, translator, and chef. The team found us upon arrival at the airport very early in the morning and made sure we made it to our hotel for a few hours of sleep. In the morning, the owner greeted us with a shash for each of us and to wish us well on our journey. From there, it was out to the dessert, stopping in Afilal for lunch and tea prepared by our team which couldn't have been better! Throughout the day, we made constant stops for photos, listened to excellent music, and swapped stories as we made our way to the mountain top. We made it an hour or so before sunset and our translator walked with us the rest of the way to the top where we were able to see the most majestic sunset ever! After sunset, we were once again amazed by the assortment of traditional foods the crew was able to prepare for our dinner, followed always, of course, by the best tea prepared in the traditional fashion. The next morning, we were up for a beautiful sunrise and a light breakfast as we made our way back towards town. This time, we stopped and had lunch under a tree in the dessert, surrounded by nothing but beauty and again surprised but the variety and quality of the food our chef prepared. After making it to town we had a lot of time to wait until our flight, so we were taken to Adnane's guest house to relax, freshen up, and eat a wonderful dinner under the stars. The entire team couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating, and we made memories we will keep with us for the rest of our lives. They took excellent care of us from morning to night each day. We highly recommend booking with this tour agency!

I participated in a three-week trip around Algeria with the Muflon tourist office in November 2023. I am very happy with the trip. It was full of positive impressions and experiences. The trip was very intense. For people who like to travel when I have a lot going on, I definitely recommend the Muflon office. First of all, it should be said that it is safe and the organizers are up to the task to make traveling in Algeria an unforgettable adventure. The experiences and wonderful experiences of discovering Algeria will stay with me for many years. Adnane and Mouflon arranged an excellent 9 day peakbagging trip for our group including Tahat, the country High Point in the south , and world ultra mountains (prominence of >1500 m): Chelia and Lalla Khedhija in the north , as well as various other high prominence peaks. The complex logistics worked smoothly. All the team was professional and friendly- the drivers, the English speaking guides/ translators, our cook and the various local guides. They gave a good feel of the unique culture and found/ cooked delicious food ; nothing was too much trouble. We had not realised that we would need police escorts to some of the peaks but these were all arranged, relay style. Adnane speaks good French and is very knowledgeable with a wide range of local contacts.
