Great experience with a hint of culture
The overall experience was made great by our lovely guide Joanna and driver Malone, it’s a long day from Manila if you’re thinking about it but our guides made it very easy and relaxing. The experience involves an amazing plantation with Spanish architecture, museum (full of weird and wonderful period pieces), ride on a cart driven by a water buffalo and a great buffet lunch with your feet in the cool relaxing water from a hydroelectric damn. Yes touristy but still a good day trip to see something different if you’re in Manila. We have had multiple trips with yolo travel now and would definitely recommend the company as we have had very good experiences both times.

          Excellent Tour A Definite Must
An awesome and inspiring tour of the country side. Our tour guides on this trip were truly exceptional filled with knowledgeable facts, accommodating and very friendly people. They picked us pick at our Air BNB and were very timely in fact 15 minutes early. We got to do w everything in our itinerary. We got to tried different foods like Buko pie, fresh fruits and local fruits and they even accommodated us to get lunch at one of the local restaurants. The tour was a complete success I was very happy and so were my friends that came along for the ride. Highly recommend!!! Zee was our tour guide, extremely knowledgeable, fun and really made us feel welcome to the Philippines!!!

Wonderful experience with a wonderful crew of experienced tour guides!
I had the most amazing trip with tour guides Gerald, Justine, and Kenji and our driver Adriane. They were all very friendly and knowledgeable and we managed to do a lot in a single day. The trip included time on Taal lake on a boat as well as a wonderful walk up to a beautiful waterfall. We also did some cultural stuff by visiting a cave church. All in all I would highly recommend it!

          Not recommended
After having In the traffic jam picking up all the people in the morning we drive to different places with no real interest except for the friends of the person in charge, differents marketplaces we have visited, at the end we take a boat on the Taal lake we have hope to visit and see some lava or burning something but no we have done a trip on a waved by the wind water lake, rinsed at every bumps by the water really uncomfortable and wet, then without eating from the whole day we came back in the traffic jam to our hotel i definitively don't recommend that overpriced excursion in a cramped minivan. Doesn't worth a dollar

          Knowledgeable tour guide, history, experiences!
Great tour! I’m so glad I was able to book this trip. The tour guide Mark was very knowledgeable about the area and about other topics of the Philippines. We stopped at Nuvali to see an upcoming city and feed the koi. Loved the pineapple pie in Laurel and the views of Taal lake from the People’s Park in Tagaytay. Highly recommend this tour!

          Family fun on the weekend
This was a great mix of local culture and food with exploring the natural beauty of the area. The boat ride out to see Taal volcano up close was the highlight!

Lots of beautiful sights to see. Manilla is full of traffic though so you will spend a bit of time sitting in it.
Great adventure, Julius did an amazing job telling us so much history of the area. Thank you for a wonderful time. Make sure to bring cash as many vendors that are visited are cash only.

          Amazing experience ✨✨😉
It was a beautiful day to experience this wonderful tour . We were picked up on time and made few stops . We enjoyed feeding the fish (koi) , tasted the coconut pie end ate slices of fresh pineapple. The pie and fruits are very good . We walked to the pineapple plantation nearby . It was hot but we are prepared , we have our hat and umbrella ! The Jeepney ride to palace in the sky was fun . The view of Taal volcano is not clear , it was hazy at that time . We like the visit to the market and food tasting . It’s something interesting . The best part of this is the boat ride in Taal lake and having lunch with a view. It was about an hour ride and our boatman is outstanding! Overall , an amazing experience bec of the excellent tour guides Julius and Asia . Thanks to the driver Malon for driving safely to our destinations!

Rich Culinary, Cultural Time in Oldest Chinatown
This foodie tour in the oldest Chinatown was a wonderfully rich culinary and cultural experience. My guide, Eddy, did a wonderful job navigating through the entire Chinatown. Not only did we go to the best, renowned food vendors in the heart of Chinatown, but I appreciated the opportunity to wade deep into the bustling gauntlet of seafood, fruit, produce vendors - even solar appliance vendors - that all the locals patronize. It was a great immersive experience on every score. Highly recommended that you start this tour famished. It was wonderful cuisine and sweets that kept on coming all day!

Two beautiful places to see in one trip!
This trip was amazing. Here’s a bit of a breakdown for anyone looking to go! First off- you will get wet and you will be in the sun. So sunscreen, towel and swim clothes. Also I highly recommend water shoes over flip flops. There are rocks and a bit of hiking and water shoes are easier. Also hidden valley has lockers, showers, and bathrooms. If you want to shower bring shower things. Ladies- bring toilet paper because there was none at the falls. (That’s common for a lot of places). If you want to tip or buy a drink or something- bring cash otherwise everything is paid for. (Hidden valley also sells soda and beer which need cash) We were picked up from our hotel at 6am in a large comfortable van. Our tour guide, Eddy, and our driver, Marlon, were both friendly and let us know if we needed anything from them- to let them know. We asked to stop somewhere for coffee and snacks so Marlon found a spot with a Starbucks and snacks. Eddy answered all my questions regarding the Philippines with knowledge and enthusiasm… especially for 6am! Ha! When we got to our first stop for the falls, we were given a quick heads up about pushy tipping culture and reassured that everything we are about to experience was already paid for and not to feel pressured unless we really wanted to. Also we could leave belonging in the car because they would take care of them. There were bathrooms, showers and changing areas. The falls were beautiful. We were asked for tips or to purchase food at every stop, but if you said no thank you, they understood and kept going. It was very impressive how they maneuvered through the rocks and pulled the canoes through. The first part of the trip is in the sun, but once you get into the jungle area, it’s mostly shade. The second falls you can get on a raft and they will take you under the falls to a cave and you can get in the water. The water was cool and the raft guy took tons of photos for us with one of our phones. The trip back was significantly faster (going with the current of course). When we got back to the van we started for hidden valley. Eddy pointed out some things along the way and talked about the springs and the volcano. He also answered my questions about the local architecture features as well as some history behind it. They also stopped along the side of the road so we could try Buco (coconut) water and Bibingka 🤤. It was very tasty and a perfect snack. Once at hidden valley he got us our tickets and told us where to go and where they would be when we were done. We went to the buffet first and the staff was very inviting and helpful. The food was pretty good. But we were more excited to go to the springs! The springs were very relaxing. The warm pool was the perfect temperature for relaxing. And the closer to the warm falls you are, the warmer the water. Same one with the soda pool except colder. We also hiked to the hidden falls. Towards the end of the hike it did get a bit dodgy, but they had a guide to help you along the way. All in all it was a very relaxing day. When we were done the longest part was the ride home due to traffic in the Philippines being terrible. We all fell asleep. Marlon was a very safe driver and at no point did I feel unsafe. We arrived back at our hotel around 7. All in all we enjoyed a very relaxing day and felt very well taken care of. I highly recommend this trip.

Unforgettable Journey with Knowledgeable Guides at YOLO Travel Philippines
I had an unforgettable experience with YOLO Travel Philippines. My hosts, Mark (MJ) and Joanna, were fantastic. Mark's deep knowledge of Philippine history and Joanna's bubbly personality made them a perfect team. We traveled from Manila to Tagaytay, making various stops along the way. Despite the fog obscuring Taal Volcano, the trip was amazing. I gained a deeper appreciation for Jose Rizal and enjoyed a delicious coconut pie that resembled apple pie. Our journey through Intramuros was enlightening, filled with rich history. Special shoutout to Malone, our driver, who had a lovely personality and is a huge Celtics fan, which made him great in my book. I highly recommend Mark and Joanna as tour guides for any trip. They made my experience truly memorable.
