Scenic and knowledgeable - I would definitely recommend 👌
We had a fantastic time on our tour with our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide Eddie and driver Pedro. The drive through the country side was scenic and we got experience some local cuisine along the way. The tour of Manila was very serene and knowledgeable thanks to Eddie. Definitely recommended this tour if coming to Manila.

We had a short time in Manila so we booked this tour. Seana, our tour guide, and Rency, our driver, were great. Seana was very friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the fruit tasting! We learned a lot and had a great day!

A one day productive trip with YOLO Travel
A lovely experience here in the Philippines with our Guide (Seana) and (Kyle) the driver, we see some different thigs in the area with much history and sightseeing capturing the beauty of the old historic manila and the volcano as well. We recommend this tour if you want to see the different perspective of outside and inside of Manila, there service was very accommodating and professional in terms of deliberation and assisting as well.

Illuminating night tour with exceptional guides
I recently experienced the YOLO Manila Sightseeing by Night tour, and it was phenomenal! Seana and Genesis, our guides, were amazing storytellers and brought the city’s history and culture to life. Their extensive knowledge and genuine passion for Philippines were evident in every story they shared. They didn't just stick to the script but generously included personal anecdotes that offered a deeper insight into the local lifestyle and traditions. Their enthusiasm and humour was infectious, making the tour both informative and incredibly enjoyable. The tour covered many iconic sights - Paco Park cemetery, Fort Santiago, Intramuros, China Town - beautifully illuminated at night, offering a unique perspective of the city. Seana and Genesis ensured we were comfortable and entertained throughout, making it a memorable and enriching experience. The heartbreaking but important stories from WWII were particularly poignant. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Manila in a truly special way.

Great tour and Guide with good transport.
Tour Guide: Eddy Driver: Rency Great communication night before. Picked up on time and was a great tour with a very knowledgeable and attentive Guide and driver. We possibly stopped for lunch longer than I would have liked but that was just personal preference. I would use this team again.

          Fantastic Experience
Eddy was an absolutely fantastic tour guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the tour as well as able to answer any questions you have about manila. Eddy made the tour both incredibly fun and informative. On the trip to tagaytay we stopped and enjoyed a delicious pineapple pie and then explored a market. We then proceeded to the Peoples Park in the Sky, rode a jeepney and enjoyed some fantastic views of the countryside. The boat tour was nice and relaxing, and then went to lunch at a local restaurant with delicious food. Overall it was an incredible experience with incredible tour guides and drivers.

We did the nighttime Manila tour with Eddy which was great fun! Eddy was very informative and positive, tailoring the tour for our benefit and communicating well regarding pickup times/location. Red was also a prudent driver who drive courteously and carefully. Would recommend this tour

          Overall amazing and simply breathtaking!!
I wasn't sure what to expect on our excursion to Pagsanjan Falls and Hidden Valley Springs but it definitely did not disappoint. The scenery and people we encountered went above and beyond our expectations. The trip to the Falls was a breathtaking experience with views that one only dreams of. The amount of labor put into the canoe guides is applaudable and extremely respected and appreciated. The Hidden Falls grounds and pools were beyond relaxing and beautiful. I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting the Phillipines, especially if you're near Manila and have a free day off.

          Poor value for the experience
Trip was super expensive (would recommend doing it yourself with a private driver or even a taxi). There was very little commentary from the guide (he was lovely, answered questions, slept a lot) so you really just need the driver. The boat trip to the Pagsanjan falls was great - but can organise this yourself. Be prepared to be in full sun for an hour. The hidden valley springs were ‘ok’. The included buffet lunch was average (not even a soft drink included for our total tour cost of US$240 - I find this underwhelming). Again you get dropped and do this yourself ….so it’s an expensive swim really. Didn’t have enough time here to swim and go to the falls so can’t comment on what they’re like. The vehicle was air conditioned which was great, sorted out the issue with the seatbelts, but would expect a bit more modern and comfortable, including wifi, for the cost.

          Fun and We'll Driven Tour
Amazing and active tour, a lot of things to see in Manila to Countryside. Our guide Seana was well driven and informative, she got good presence of ambiance about the facts and things to see in the Place. Travel is quiet long but it gives us to make rest and out of the sunny weather heading to Manila, Our Driver Rhed was very amazing and got a smooth skills in terms of managing the traffic. Manila was a city for business, congested, but very historical. Highly recommended!

Great full day tour with Seana to Tagaytay and other stops.
Great tour with Seana (guide) and Rhed (driver). Seana gave great explanations of Cambodian sites, history, and everyday life. The tour was well paced and the bus was comfortable. Tagaytay is also nice for getting out of the Manila heat this time of year. Highly recommend.

Through YOLO, we booked the tour: The Countryside. Our guides were Sean and Einstein and our driver was Mario. What an amazing crew! All 3 shared facts and stories about the events throughout the day. This was truly a 'group' experience where all (guests and guides) were actively engaged and participating. Felt like 'family'. The day was well organized and went smoothly to plan. We all enjoyed Buko pie together, tasting fruits and foods in a local market, viewing a small pineapple plantation, visiting People’s Park in the Sky, a short jeepney ride up the hill, seeing the chapel and eating lunch. We ate lunch outside near Lake Taal and sat in a small typical house/hut made from Nipo palm. Sean explained what the lunch choices were (many local dishes). We learned much about the local active volcano and the recent eruption in 2020. We even stopped at a local volcano observatory and talked with someone who worked there about their monitoring systems - so interesting. We enjoyed the vast variety of scenery throughout the day - love being out in nature! Rode a local boat on Lake Taal which is surrounding an active volcano and the volcano has another lake inside the caldera. The boat ride allowed us to support locals as well as see closer the volcano, fish farms and many birds. What an amazing day of sights, sounds and tastes! We learned so much about local culture today.

Our tour guides for our Active Taal Volcano were Eddy and Fraj, along with driver Loonie.

Loonie has many years experience with Yolo Travel and certainly knew his way round Manila and Taal. He was a professional and friendly driver. We felt safe knowing he was driving.

Fraj was also very professional and friendly. She very knowledgable and always willing to take photos for my partner and I.

Eddy was a beam of sunshine. For someone that has been with Yolo Travel for only 4 months, I thought he had been there for four years! His vast knowledge of Filipino history and culture is very evident. He showed alot of passion every time he told stories and shared information along the tour. His bubbly and friendly personality made it that little extra special!

Peoples Park in the Sky was a bit of hit and miss due to the clouds rolling in and out. But that's nature and can't be helped. But when the clouds did clear the view was AMAZING! My partner also got to ride his first Jeepney!

The Taal Lake via boat ride was spectacular! It was a great way to explore especially after seeing it from a distance from Peoples' Park in the Sky.

We were even more greatful that we could add an extra option to our tour on the day, and were very glad we did as we got to discover more hidden gems around the beautiful Taal area and Batangas Province.

Thank you Loonie, Fraj and Eddy for a very memorable day!

We would like to say a huge thank you to Mark, ably supported by Kyle and Tonz for a wonderful day trip to the Taal Volcano an hour or so from Manila. From the moment we were collected from the hotel the smile never left Mark’s face.

I also couldn’t believe how much that young man knows and how easily he shared with us and kept the day flowing in an unhurried and very comfortable way. We had a couple of stops enroute at the same time learning about the way of life in the country and the way that lifestyle is changing , we stopped off in a newly developed Ayala town which seemed to be modelled in a style adopted by the French in having everything needed for daily life , work , shops and entertainment within a short hop from your home. It was really fun to eat Buko Pie (a local coconut specialty similar to mama's apple pie), that we ate hot outside the bakery that it had been baked in.

The day was filled with fun and laughter and of course we had the main event of a boat trip out to see the active volcano passing through beautiful terrain with a spectacular mountain viewing and then a ride in a local fishing canoe getting up close and personal to the volcano followed by a healthy lunch of tilapia caught in the lake.

It was clear to see that Mark loved looking after us for the day , thank you spoiling us so well on a wonderful day.

        Cheers

        Ausra & Pat

What a fantastic tour. Eddy our guide was amazing and was able to cater everything to what our interests were and Marlon our driver was very flexible and accommodating. We were able to sample many yummy local delights and Eddy was very happy to share his culture and knowledge with us.
Definitely a tour to choose to experience the food and amazing view of the Taal volcano up close.
So many things to see and do from koi feeding, visiting a pineapple plantation, eating buko pie, riding a jeepney, getting up close to the active volcano in a boat and eating a local lunch on the shore of the lake.
Thank you for sharing this with me!

Amazing experience, the Taal Volcano Experience surpassed our expectations. Mark, the guide, knew the best places to stop and highlight Filipino culture and food along the way to the stated destinations on the itinerary. The van ride was nicely broken up into smaller segments so it didn't seem like you were in the van for too long. Pedro was an excellent driver. He did his best to make the dropoffs as convenient as possible for the group. I would book another tour through YOLO in a heartbeat, might try to fit one in before we have to depart.

I booked the tour in the middle of October. The organization of the trip by the team, Sean, Wallen and driver Loonie was perfect. The pickup from the hotel was on time, the small stops in between were very interesting. My extra request, a stop at a regional market, was no problem for the team. The boat ride was beautiful. I would recommend the tour to others.
Only the weather, especially the view, could have been a little better. But on it the team has no influence.

A wonderful and happy experience. It was a last minute booking request and we could get the seats. The payments was hassle free and without any problems

The tour guides Sean and Yves were one of the best guides we had in many many trips in last few years. Both were very charming, informative and looked after the visitors in a very professional manner. Sean kept us informed about the pickup time from the previous day and on the day of arrival. They were prompt in picking us up and did a wonderful job all through the trip till the end. Special thanks to trip driver Rhed who did an excellent job

Yolo Trips and their Guides Sean and Yves are highly recommended when you are looking for trips from Manila

This was the most fun guided tour I’ve been on, EVER! Despite the average visibility our tour guide Eddy and driver Marlo made the day fun. Eddy was knowledgeable about all things Phillipines and Marlo drove superbly in the Manila traffic. The stops at various traditional vendors - to taste Filipino specialty and fruit was a great way to break the journey and see the ever changing landscape. The Taal lake boat trip was very interesting and a unique way to travel on water. Shame about the visibility but that’s beyond anyone’s control. For a fun guide I would definitely recommend Eddy. You will laugh and you will learn!!

It is a good day of fun and we visited several places to experience local Tagatay and viewing points of the Taal volcano. Boat ride brings you onto the lake and up close to Daang Kastila.
Tour guide-Seana was excellent in coordinating with us on a couple of pick-up points and very punctual and organised throughout. We learned about the local culture from Seana and through experiencing some of the local foods and places. Seana was attentive to our requests and very professional. We were, of course, in the safe hands of our driver-John. Thank you Seana and John!

Our tour guides, Sean and Yves were excellent. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about Taal and Tagaytay. I also loved our bangka driver. He was great at controlling the boat and was knowledgeable about Taal (as long as you speak Tagalog).

However, I was not happy with our driver Pedro. He was friendly, but drove in a jerky way, which can happen when one isn’t fully comfortable driving manual. The engine turned off sometimes too due to him letting the clutch out too quickly. Pedro also drove aggressively, which is something I expect from a jeepney ride, but not from a tour van ride. Given how much this tour cost, I would expect a much smoother ride. My Filipino friends also felt unsafe at times during our van ride.

Overall, our tour guides and bangka driver were amazing, but our driver not so much.
