    Easy recommend. Do it!
    Fantastic couple of hours with knowledgeable tour guides and a well run little outfit. Learnt a hell of a lot and genuinely had a good time. Very safe and well organised. Would recommend. Hats off to Camille who was brilliant.

    Great historical tour with rooftop drinks!
    A great way to see Intramuros and enjoy the history and sunset! Our guide was so knowledgeable and clearly was passionate about the history and culture. I'm not very confident on a bike, but he was incredibly patient! The tour ended at a rooftop bar, where we were able to have a drink and watch the sunset over Manila's skyline. Would highly recommend!

    not the usual bike tour!
    the guides had a lot of humour and made me feel very safe with stopping the traffic for us! the bikes were easy to ride, looked very original and we stopped at beautiful gardens!

    A funky, unique, sunset tour of Intramoros
    We met at the Bamboo Bike shop to meet our guides and choose our bikes. A quick test ride and we were on our way. A handful of stops around Intramoros showing us the various sites and explaining the history of Manila. Our guide was very knowledgeable and used appropriate humour through the tour. We finished up at the Bay view Rooftop bar for a drink, an ideal way to have a quick chat with the others about their Philippines experience. Thanks!!

    Better bikes than the ones n Mexico City by far. Good histour tour but I need more miles/kilometers. Great friendly staff

    Wonderful.
    Booked this through Tripadvisor. Meet up point just by Barbaras restaurant. You got to choose your bike. Camille is very good as our tour guide. Her team made up of a few people made sure that we cross streets of intramuros safely. Im so glad i booked this as we get to see old manila. If you’re cycling is not your cup of tea you can hire someone on a tok-tok on this tour. Be careful of uneven pavements and cobbled stones in some areas. Finally you get to see a 360 degree view of manila on top of a hotel restaurant with sunset views. Dont forget to book yourself for a dinner buffet at Barbaras which was lovely and also be at the restaurant at 7pm to see the cultural show. Overall, excellent experience.

    Cannot recommend enough sooooo good
    So good. The guide was amazingly knowledgeable. I learnt so much about the country history. The extra guides kept us safe crossing roads and stopping traffic for us. Much grateful since I had an 11 and 9 yr old with me. Wouldn't suggest younger kids have their own bikes unless used to traffic around them. Some of the bikes had baskets so suggest taking extra drinks as the humidity does drain you. We did the 930 to 12 and that was perfect length.

    Amazing Sunset
    This trip was excellent. John our guide was very knowledgeable and really lovely to my sister who was nervous about cycling on the roads. The balance of cycling and sites was perfect for us. We then got the best seats in the house at the Bayleaf and watched an amazing sunset. Great trip and a fantastic social enterprise in Manila.

    Loved it!
    Loved it! We arrived early in the morning in Manila and were afraid to be too exhausted for the biking, but wanted to stay awake to overcome Jetlag. It was a perfect first day in the Philippines!

    Great place to bring Foreigner Friends and Family
    Insightful tour even for a local. Jonathan, our tour guide, not only narrated the history of Intramuros but the prevailing political climate that led to certain decisions and actions. Very friendly and helpful crew. Kudos to Mark who powered my pedicab and allow me to photograph my family on their bikes :-) A fun way to get around

    My favorite part was learning the long history of Intermuros and seeing the amazing ruins and rebuild areas in the walled city. Our guide was knowledable without sounding memorized. He was fun and friendly

    The duration for the Express tour at 1.5 hours was just right. The stops were appropriate and the pace was easy without any difficulties in riding the bike. The tour guide was well informed and it was very informative

Best way to tour Intramuros!

Loved this tour so much! I'm Filipina and wanted to show my partner the city - and honestly the Bambike Ecotour is the best way to see Intramuros. Great combination of being active and taking in the historical value of one of Manila's gems. Cedhie was our tour guide and he was a lot of fun. Really appreciated the ice cream and cold towels at the end too! We even wanted to buy a bamboo bike frame after! x
5/5, highly recommend.
If you are planning on getting a Grab or taxi from Intramuros area after your tour during rush hour, we would recommend walking outside of the walls and getting transpo from there.

Great history lesson and backroads Intramuros tour

We had a 1/2 day in MNL before getting on an international flight. This was the perfect activity to get out and explore a historic corner of the city, get a little exercise and learn about the Spanish and American engagement in the Philippines. The history and spirit of the Filipino people shown through with our guides engaging and knowledgeable overview. Better for adults and older kids as there is a lot of history shared. Short 5 minute rides between sights. Highly recommended.

Such an amazing experience! I did the Half Day Tour through Intramuros - my guide was Cedhie! I ended up being the only person in my time slot, so the tour was private one-on-one! Cedhie is an incredible guide. He was knowledgeable of all the history and sites, and also made me feel like a part of the conversation. It felt like being shown around the city by a new friend. The bikes are comfortable and I felt safe being guided through the streets, even when we had to cross in traffic. The stops cover all the main sites in Intramuros, and because you are on bike, you can cover way more ground in the time than on foot. At the end of the tour they even gave me a cool towel to refresh myself, and a scoop of the most delicious coconut ice cream! If you’re traveling alone or in a group, highly recommend this experience. Ask for Cedhie!

Wonderful combination of biking, history and the local vibe!
I have participated in biking tours around the world…it is a great way to do much in a short period of time. This tour throughout Manila was top notch! Our guide, Johnathan was attentive, educational and allowed everyone to feel special…answering questions as a group and personally. The 2.5 hours was easy riding with several stops that was packed with content….sad, happy, historical and all mixed with the every day life of the locals. Plan to do this one….the value is much greater than the investment!

DO NOT recommend, lack of biking and scenery

If you have better things to do in Manila, DO IT. This trip was totally below expectation and I regret my time wasted here.

1) Not a biking tour but more of a history read-out from Wiki: total biking time less than 20 mins, and the majority of the time was to stand and listen to the tour guide about the history. Wrong place if you are looking for a “riding through the city” tour.

2) Bland story-telling: expect to stand in circles and listen to the tour guide about the history. Can’t feel her passion or deep knowledge in this area, and the guide seems to lack the ability to engage with the group.

3) You can do it without a bike: The sites we visited are easily accessible even if u don’t have a bike, and also no tickets required. The scenery is mediocre if u took away the history part.

4) Walk-in price for 1.5/2.5 hr trip was 999/1699 PHP.

Don’t get me wrong — still a very organized trip, but WILL NOT recommend to anyone

The Booking process is simple, the staff are really friendly and helpful. The guide Jojo was knowledgeable and funny too. I would highly recommend this tour and it is not physically hard at all, even the "massage" on the large cobbles was fun.

Great way to see and learn about Intramuros

With limited time at hand and being in the office all week the tour was exactly the right thing to get exercise and history in one go. We were a small group cycling around the fortress walls of Intramuros, the guide was motivated and you could tell his history background. I enjoyed the tour very much and would recommend it when you don't have much time and want to move a bit.

Perfect way to discover the 'old-Manila'

This bike tour was the ice on the cake on my day in Manila! I did the morning tour, it was quite hot & humid but riding the bike gave us a little breeze. Intramuros is a lovely area of the capitol, a must-see when you're there. Our tour guide, Russell was really professional, he provided a brief review of the history of Manila and the Philippines as we rode through Intramuros. His English is good and understandable, also, he was a super friendly and lovely tour guide. I am really happy to be able to join this tour and see all these historical places in Manila!

Nice experience on a bamboo bike

We had a wonderfull and educational biking tour through Intramuros. Very friendly and capable staff. Also very good bikes and guides. We had Jojo as our guide and another collegue biked in front of us to stop vehicles so we could safely cross the roads.
