Discover the Best Local Food Tour by Night in Kuala Lumpur

Select Date and Travelers
2 travelers
Enjoy the local food like all Malaysians do; check out the food night market, take in the typical flavors, taste delicious bites and don’t forget to eat, eat, eat!
  • Discover Malaysia’s three main food cultures: Indian, Chinese, and Malay
  • Sample dim sum, Indian pancakes, satay, and foamy “teh Tarik” tea
  • Eat like a local at three locations as you hear stories from your private guide
  • Explore the Bukit Bintang area, Kuala Lumpur’s nightlife center
What to Expect
Greet your private guide at the AirAsia–Bukit Bintang Monorail station and head for the nightlife area of Jalan Bukit Bintang. Start at the Hutong Food Court to experience “siew bao” (crispy barbecued roasted chicken buns) and the Malay classic curry puff, a flaky pastry filled with chicken curry.
Amid the hawker stalls and seafood eateries of Jalan Alor, let your guide select dim sum and satay, Malaysia’s answer to kebabs. Visit a “mamak”—Malaysian-Indian eatery—for paper-thin “dosa” pancakes served with Indian sauces. Wash everything down with a foaming glass of “teh tarik” milk tea before you bid your guide farewell in central Bukit Bintang.

I'd 100% recommend for kids. There are plenty of non spicy options and there isn't much walking. Plus you have options with the dim sum so can choose things they'll like.
