We used SPB for every shore excursion on our Baltic cruise. Every tour, especially the two-day tour in St. Petersburg, was very well done. The smaller groups made a huge difference as we were able to have some flexibility in what we wanted to see and how much time we spent at each location. Highly recommend!

We were a big group of 38 who did a customized two days St. Petersburg Highlights Tour with SPB in July 2018. Our two guides were the lovely Darya and the knowledgeable Maxim along with the safe and courteous driver Ruslan. Both our guides along with being knowledgeable, courteous, friendly are also the two most amazing human beings I am glad my paths crossed with. The two days in St. Petersburg were the best days of our Baltic and Scandinavian tour, all thanks to SPB, Darya, Maxim and Ruslan. We did have some hindrances at the Cruise Immigration desk for one of our group members and SPB staff at the Port were extremely prompt and resourceful in sorting this out with the Russian Immigration Authorities. So another word of appreciation for the SPB office personnel at the port as well. All in all every member of our big group would like to thank SPB for making these two days the most memorable for us. We are for sure looking forward to going back to St. Petersburg in the near future and discovering more of the the beautiful city along with SPB in toe.

This was a fantastic experience, made even better by SPB Tours. The guide, Cate (short for the Russian Ecaterina) was really superb. She was very professional, had great knowledge of every place that we visited and a marvelous sense of humor. The whole organiization of the tour was very slick. It was great to avoid the long ques, especially at the Winter Palace. We did several tours at different stops using the ships tour company. There was no comparison. SPD Tours were so much better in every way. They also were about half the price, for the same tour by the Ships tour company.

We were a small group of 4 picked up in a nice air conditiond mercedes van by Larissa, our guide and Eugene, our driver both of whom were excellent. The next two days were spent seeing some of the most amazing sights in an unbelievable city. Larissa was very friendly and knowledgeable taking us around all the fantastic sights, in many cases staying ahead of the crowds aided by Eugenes driving. No question or request was a problem and we were also given the experience of the St Petersburg metro. All tickets were supplied for us and Larissa even enquired what sort of food and price range we would like for lunch each day and took us to a couple of fantastic restaurants making sure in advance they had enlish speaking waiters for us. It was honestly one of the best tours we have ever had and would highly recommend SPB

We had the good fortune to have Phillip as our driver and Luba as our wonderful guide for a 2-day visit. She was so patient and knowledgeable - a first-class guide. I would highly recommend them to future visitors.

Our guide on our St. Petersburg tour was wonderful. The tour was on August 12-13, 2018. Unfortunately, I do not remember her name, but I believe she was a teacher and worked only part time with SPB

What a fantastic city and I am so glad I chose SPB as the tour company. We managed to see so many sights and had a ride on the beautiful metro.
Maria our guide was very knowledgable, went at a really good pace through the tour and had a brilliant sense of humour.
There was free wifi on the coach which was also really comfortable and they are so efficient that when our radios weren't working (due to being on the metro), a radion technician met us within 5 minutes to rectify the problem. (Which wasn't needed anyway once we got out of the metro station!)
I have no qualms about recommending this SPB for their St. Petersburg tours.

I did the 2-day "Russian Treasures" tour. My parents, who are frequent cruisers and did a similar cruise a few years earlier, recommended SPB over the cruise line's excursion. SPB was almost half the price and our guide, Sofia, was friendly and knowledgeable. Our tour was only 10 people, and we had our own van (not a big bus). Beware--the cruise line will say you must book with them in order to get off the ship in Russia, but it simply isn't true. It was a hectic tour, because there is so much to see in St. Petersburg. I wish we could have lingered at the Peterhof main fountain for a few minutes -- If I did this over, I would ask the guide to do so.
