About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- mint_lntch0 contributionsSupercool and fun experience! The staffs there are very professional and they take care of you on every step there. It's a memorable and super fun activities! Worth every pesos I paid. The only cons there is the shower afterwards. The number of shower rooms is not sufficient compared to the number of people. And the small waterproof bag to keep your phone and money would be great, they have a retail for food in the middle of canyoneering. Please also prepare some extra money, GoPro to rent at oslob is 550 php and this includes the staff on the boat that will go down to take picture and video for you. And for zipline at canyoneering is 600 php. All of them are optional though. You can bring your own GoPro as well or buy waterproof for phone and take a picture by yourself. At canyoneering you can choose to walk 30 40 mins to the first jumping point instead of taking the zipline with 8 mins walk.Written September 26, 2024
- Passenger573087026140 contributionsSpeechless Life Experience 🥹Sleep deprivation is for sure worth it! The wait for the whale shark wasn't too bad and too long. People were queuing with discipline. The centre opened at 6am while we managed to get on the boat at 630am, really not bad. Whale shark watching is definitely a life experience. It was absolutely beautiful! Whale sharks were swimming in the shallow coast foraging and being fed only in the early morning, thats why the tour must be crazily early. Our boat tourists were again disciplined keeping distance to appreciate this creature. Moving on to the canyoneering, the two guides were absolutely amazing! Very caring and friendly. They tried their best to show the beauty of the landscape and guide us step by step even it's slippery and bumpy. Whole experience was fun and safe. Every jump was fun and encouraging, it was never be pushy or having any negative feeling. Guides would brief before every jump and demonstrated. With additional php60 per person, you could enjoy a zipline experience, so why not? Local captured every memories of the whole experience with additional surprise, a handmade grasshopper! Just thankful for such an unforgettable memory. Highly recommend!!!Written September 19, 2024
- ahhmannduhhhh0 contributionsGreat experience!Driver Eloy was on time to pick me up from my accommodation at 2am. Thank you for driving us the whole day:) We reached Oslob around 5+am where we queued up to get our queue numbers. We managed to snorkel beside the whale sharks around 7.45am. While waiting there are a few food stores where you could have breakfast. Though it was a half an hour session, it was sufficient and it was physically tiring haha. But so worth it! It was also very worth to rent the go pro because there will be a boat driver who will be attached to you at all times and help you take videos:) Go pro rental was 550 for me. Had a good lunch around noon before we headed into Badian for canyoneering. Decided to pay an additional 600 for the zipline, pretty fun and it reduces the walking in time by around half an hour. We had one tour guide each to ensure our safety and help us take photos throughout. Thank you so much Joel:D Really made sure i was safe especially for all my jumps - 2m, 5m, 7m, 10m. It's optional if you want to do the jumps so don't worry. Overall, had a very enjoyable day. Thank you Mcrich travels and team for this:)Written September 4, 2024
- fabiomV6438UB0 contributionsPerfectly organisedEvery step of the tour was greatly organised from beginning to end. Contacted me the day before with pickup time, driver's name/phone number and car registration. People where waiting for us at all attractions and the guides at the cannyoneering were fantastic. Very small group and we were really looked after. Highly recommend the operator.Written March 16, 2024

- NanC10210 contributionsExhilarating!!Canyoneering with our AWESOME guides, Jerome & Carlo was EXHILARATING!! We trekked along the river, chased waterfalls & jumped off cliffs into the bluest green waters! Our guides had the best energy and took lots of great pictures & videos! Truly a very memorable & fun experience!Written February 9, 2024
- L4080AEhannahp0 contributionsFun day! This was one of our favourite days while travelling! Whale sharks swam right up to you, many times! There’s a long queue to get into the boat and water (about 2 hrs for us), but there are coffee/ breakfast shops and souvenir shops nearby. I don’t think there is a way to bypass the long wait and it was so worth it to swim with the whale sharks!! Canyoneering was definitely an adventure and adrenaline rush! The terrain getting to the waterfalls and cliffs can be tough (it’s all through water with lots of rocks). Our guides were spectacular and would literally hold my hand through tough areas or guide us where to put our hands and feet when climbing a cliff. They also were very encouraging to face your fear and jump off the high cliffs (some were 10ft!). The one guide filmed and took pictures using our own GoPro the whole time too. I’d definitely do this one again!Written January 13, 2024
- Dmitriy19790 contributionsVery good!Everything was arranged at its best! We will definitely comeback for more! I recommend though to split it for two days, cause after sharks you re a bit tired for canyoneering and there are a lot of ppl in the afternoon.Written January 12, 2024
- Vacation367382853080 contributionsOne for the books!Booked this tour via Klook and honestly it did not disappoint. Shout out to our driver Joseph and our canyoneering tour guides Alric and Jowel for making this experience so memorable. For Oslob, be prepared to wait a while. When you reach the whale shark area, there will be lots of venders trying to sell you a phone pouch to protect your phone underwater. Would suggest buying it here as it should be no more than 100php. Whale sharks are beautiful creatures and you get up close and personal with these friendly giants! With regards to canyoneering, I found this activity quite difficult. However, our tour guides Alric and Jowel made sure I was well supported throughout the whole experience. They are an hilarious bunch, and made the trek super fun. They also gave me plenty of options if I was too scared to jump down any of the cliffs. Alric also takes the best photos! Couldn’t have asked for better tour guides. One thing I’d suggest if you’re not well versed in hiking is to take the zipline option at the start of the trek which cuts your hiking time by 45 minutes. The zipline costs 600php per person and well worth it for the views. Thanks again Mcrich Travels!Written January 12, 2024
- geneent20230 contributionsGood Experience / Bad time wasting. Two rather dichotomous views of the experience. Let’s start with the good. The whale shark swim is so special. These creatures are amazing up close. And we were really lucky that day - about 7-8 were in the area. Apparently, on some day in November, they only had one whale shark! The swim at Kawasan Falls is also very refreshing! The water was chillingly wonderful! We enjoyed swimming against the current and floating in the cool water on a hot day. Guide her is really helpful and warm. Driver was fast, experienced and safe Now the bad. The travelling time is long. The waiting time for whale shark is long (in spite of us leaving at 3am from Cebu). The return trip was super long (5 hours including jam from Kawasan to Cebu city). Driver Elizer made it better with his entertaining stories and patient nature. It will be better to pair your whale shark visit with a visit to the Tumalog falls because that means you are not stuck in that little “street” waiting indeterminately for your number to be called. We were there at 6. We queued for the number and got the number and briefing by 6.45am. Only at 8.45am were we asked to go and get the life jackets for the outing. Bring your own snorkel if you think a snorkel is useful. They only provide life jackets and masks. Overall the two experiences are really nice, but the logistics and unknowns make this either a really enjoyable trip or one that is rather draining.Written December 26, 2023
- Seaside422039396780 contributionsAbsolutely worth waking at 2am and staying up for 16 hours of activity fueled by endorphin and adrenalineMy best bud and I had the most amazing time in Cebu when we embarked on this activity. The booking via Klook was extremely easy, and our hotel pickup details were emailed to us 2 days before the event. We were assigned a private car and driver for the entire day, which surprised us. Our driver, Dennis, was the sweetest and nicest tito ever. He was always smiling, and never too shy engaging with us. Heck, we had hours of non-stop karaoke sessions in his car that kept us awake with energy during the long drives between locations. We were able to store our belongings safely in this car while we embarked on both the Oslohb whale shark and Badian canyoneering activity. It is true: the whale shark activity is 3 hours driving, 3 hours waiting, and 30 minutes of actual snorkelling. On paper, that sounds too short. But in reality, every moment was an experience. The boat row out to sea felt like the calm before a storm—what was going to actually happen once we stopped? Turns out, the moment we dropped into the waters, we were barely a meter away from whale sharks of various sizes. In fact, we were even touched by some! The whale sharks were majestic, and being able to swim so up close to them was an experience of a lifetime. After the whale shark activity, we had to take an almost 90 mins drive (with Dennis) to Badian for our Canyoneering activity. The activity started with a serious indemnity form signing, briefing, and another short drive to the start point. There, we met hundreds of other thrill seekers, and was given another briefing before choosing to take a hike to the start point, or the zip line. We picked the hike and got some of the most amazing mountain views. The whole Canyoneering experience was nothing short of exhilarating fun!!! We will totally do it all over again. We were accompanied by the best guides ever—Jerome and his partner. They did not treat us like tourists—they treated us like their own pare (brothers) and took very good care of us, while making it fun all along the way. They guided and encouraged us to go through exciting routes, jumps, falls, and even served as our private photographers and videographers. Being experienced, they knew the best angles for all the shots. Badian Canyoneering was 3 hours+ of non stop climbing, jumping, swimming, and hiking. It was an amazing adventure in nature. All in all, no words can describe how enjoyable the whole day was. It was not just the activities, but also the company. We will remember the team who was with us, and hope we can visit them again.Written November 27, 2023

- 183jarrettb0 contributionsWhale shark and Kawasan fallsI highly recommend this tour, we hired Mcrich as our outfitter and guide service for trip. Our adventure was just as advertised for 120 USD per person which consisted of hotel pickup at 3am and drop off around 4:30pm from our hotel on Mactan island, the whale shark encounter and swimming was amazing and was the first thing we did right away in the morning and would highly recommend renting a GoPro camera there for 550 pesos if you don’t already have one as the boat men took some great underwater videos and pictures for us. After swimming with the whale sharks there is a short drive (1 hour or so) to Kawasan falls. Here at Kawasan falls we definitely had an experience of a lifetime seeing God’s beautiful creation through the beauty of nature and by one only being there for yourself to experience will you truly be able to appreciate it. We were very blessed with a personal guide for my wife and myself who is named Kuya Daniel from Mcriches outfitters, he went above and beyond to make our time spent there extra special, Kuya Daniel was very professional, patient, knowledgeable and very kind, knowing all the ins and outs of the canyon, answering many questions we had along the way all while taking professional high quality pictures at all the right places that will help preserve the memories we had there. This outfitter does provide all the necessary equipment for the excursion that you will need but I would possibly recommend bringing your own water shoes if they have a more firm bottom for the many rocks that you will be stepping on and over throughout the canyon. This adventure was finished off with a delicious lunch at the home base of Mcrich at the end of the canyon where the freshwater meets the sea. Thanks again Mcrich and Kuya Daniel and like you said “we will see each other again in dream land” my brother in Christ.Written April 13, 2023

Lots of fun book it! Communication was excellent too I only booked c. 12 hours in advance. 4.30am start from Cebu our driver Topaz was brilliant he picked us up pronto and was so lovely and helpful throughout the day. The snorkelling trip was first c. 2.5 hours from Cebu and was super with three stops and we saw two turtles. Canyoneering was next c. 30 mins from snorkelling area. The guides were very professional, kind and fun we had one each for the entire duration. Tips are bring good water shoes with decent soles (otherwise you can get at the starting point) and money with you in a waterproof pouch as snacks can be purchased along the way and for guide tips they really deserve it and don’t even expect it. Its c. 3.5 - 4 hours return to Cebu because of traffic.

Amazing adventure experiences, totally beyond my expectations.
This is an exclusive tour, I booked by myself so the whole drive is only the great driver and me, he came to pick me up at 5 am, and on the way to the destination he passed by Jollibee so I got to get some breakfast (super yummy).
The first stop is Scuba Dive, and see the Salatin fish and Sea Turtle, you can rent Go-pro so a tour guide will take pictures and videos for with very reasonable charge.
Around 11 am we arrived at the adventure place, and had some lunch before the adventure, my guide was a total of 5 stars called Mac, definitely highly recommend it if you can choose :) He is very caring, and kind and great sense of photography.
The canoeing was the best adventure I've had ever, it was scary for the first 2-meter jump, but once you tried you will enjoy it, btw I did my 10-meter jump, so good luck to you! The whole views are very stunning and felt so involved by the natural elements, very satisfying and relaxing.
Another 5 stars for the driver Elizer, he is such a kind and humorous person, you won't be bored even for 4 hours driving :)
Thank you everyone for offering such a great experience for me in Cebu, hope I'll be back here soon!

Canyoneering is thrilling! Jumping from a 4-10metres high and exploring the mountains and clear water is a great experience. Whereas for moalboal snorkeling, if you are a beginner like us (novice swimmer), it isn't as fun because most of the time, you will just be drinking sea water. Although we get to see sardine and 2 sea turtles, but it is quite tiring for starters. However, to be able to see the vast deep sea and groups of sardine swimming below us is a spectacular view. Our guide for canyoneering is great, he helped us took many photos and take care of us. Do note to go on a non-public holiday as our waiting line for zipline took more than an hour (zip line is not included in this package)
Overall, I would recommend this package as it is well organised and thoroughly planned out.

I really liked this activity. For those who are already in Moalboal and it is a little expensive to buy through Klook.
However, the experience is very worth it.
We really liked the guide.
