Meet at Hoi An Ancient Town and board your craft to cruise down the pretty Thu Bon River. On arrival at Duy Vinh island, don your helmet, hop on your bike, and start pedaling through the tranquil villages and rice fields, as your guide explains the meaning of what you’re seeing.

Ride a leisurely 5.5 miles (9 kilometers) over flat terrain. Along the way, learn the secrets of crafting the colorful woven straw mats that Vietnamese people traditionally slept on—and many in the countryside still use.
