Visit Jerusalem's ancient sights as well as Yad Vashem Holocaust Remembrance Center in a full-day trip from Tel Aviv. You’ll explore highlights of Old Jerusalem as you walk through the Armenian, Jewish, and Christian Quarters, and then visit Israel’s moving memorial to Holocaust victims. Pickup and drop-off at Tel Aviv hotels make this a convenient way to experience Jerusalem, with a guide to help bring the city’s long history to life.
What to Expect
At your centrally located Tel Aviv hotel, board a climate-controlled coach for the 90-minute trip to Jerusalem. The first stop of the day is the Mount of Olives, with sweeping views across Jerusalem’s Old City and Temple Mount, and you’ll pass the Garden of Gethsemane as you enter the city.

Pause outside Zion Gate, and then continue into the Old City on foot, walking through the Armenian Quarter to the Jewish Quarter and the surviving ruins of the sixth-century Byzantine Cardo. Visit the Western Wall, or Wailing Wall, a sacred pilgrimage sight for people across the globe. Continue into the Christian quarter to walk the Via Dolorosa all the way to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, believed to mark Jesus’ crucifixion site.

The final stop before returning to Tel Aviv is Yad Vashem Holocaust Remembrance Center, where moving displays commemorate lives lost in the Holocaust.

TourGuide: Yoav Malachi

Yoav was a wonderful guide. With a lot of knowledge about the History of the region and the country. And: what is more important: a fine sense of humor. Thank you, Yoav, for this unforgettable day.

Holy Land tour with New York guide was an interesting experience!

A tour of Jerusalem with New York attitude and deep archeological background? Sign me up! Lorne was great, although many of his jokes and sarcasm went over the heads of the English-as-a-2nd-language members of the group, the native English speakers had good chuckles throughout the...More

We were very dissapointed by our experience. Our guid, Itay meant well, but was doing the tour in both English and French, which resulted in very superficial information being shared (type of 'very very beautiful church' or 'many many tombes on mount olive') The information...More
