    One night in open desert
Very nice experience to sleep in the open desert underneath all the stars. The local guides were always smiling, helpful and cooked us nice food. The two stops on the road, the oasis and the fort were interesting. Good job to Ali and his team!

    Rumi’s desert tour
The trip tour was very nice, our hosts took very good care of us, they feed us and be very nice to all our needs. The beers are not included in the price but are not to expensive, we suggest you to bring some chips with you to eat them at the sunrise before dinner time. Everything was so nice and the beds were quite confortable and during the night it wasn’t cold. Five stars

    Increible
It was a beautiful landscape in the dunes, far away from jaisalmer. We slept under the stars, and we had amazing food, that the camel men prepared. We prefered to just ride the jeep, so Ali brouhht us to his own village in the middle of the desert, to have chai with his family. Unforgettable experience.

Beautiful and authentic night in the desert
Our half day safari started at 14.00 with a jeep visit of two abandoned desert villages. Ali, our driver, explained to us the history of these places with kind and fun manners. After the weather cooled down, we hooped on the camels to reach the dune where we spent the night. Aside for a few shepherds along the way, nobody was there and we could admire the wonders of the nature in absolute peace. The sunset was astonishing and it was accompanied by good food (cooked on a campfire, the traditional way), a couple of beers, and great companionship. The talks and laughs soothes us to sleep under the open starry sky. We had warm blankets so the cold wasn’t a problem (although we suggest bringing a hat and a jacket for the morning). We woke up to the smell of chai and breakfast, then headed back on the camels.

    Unforgettable, authentic desert experience
We had the most amazing time on this desert safari. We decided not to stay overnight and just went in the afternoon and came back to Ali’s hotel at night. We were quite apprehensive about doing a camel safari as was worried about it being touristy but it absolutely wasn’t. It was so authentic and the camels seemed really well looked after. It was so lovely to meet the camel owners and our tour guide and hotel owner grew up in one of the desert villages so is very knowledgable about the area and it was so interesting to hear of his experiences. We set off in a jeep into the desert with a few stops for sightseeing, met the camels and walked further into the desert. Here, a super delicious meal was cooked for us by the camel owners and we watched the sun set and ate dinner around the campfire, it was beautiful. I highly recommend this safari as an authentic and unforgettable experience.

    A glimpse of desert life
I had a great time experiencing a little of the ways of living in the desert. I chose not to do the camel riding (I try and stay away from animal tourism). Ali was good in accomodating to that. In my case, instead we made an extra stop in a desert village and had tea with some of Ali's family and their neighbours. I always enjoy getting to know the people a bit! The desert spot we stayed we had to ourselves. The food that was cooked for us in on the campfire was great. And with enough blankets and a basic bed, I enjoyed sleeping in the open night's sky!

Amazing trip!! You must do this!
Fantastic and unique few days in the desert. Guides are friendly and cook incredible food. This is in a remote, non tourist area. You will feel like the only people in the world. You can ride camels or walk (or both). At night there is an incredible sunset, the guides make delicious dinner, and then start a campfire. There are plenty of blankets and mattresses for comfortable and warm evening. You can sleep on a mattress or on the ground u see a million stars - your choice. I highly recommend this tour for anyone - solo, families, couples, etc. must do experience in Rajasthan! I went for 3 nights and wish I could have stayed longer.

Jeep➡️Village➡️Natural lake➡️camel safari➡️natural cooking➡️star studded night➡️camping

We were 4 bachelors who took this non tourist safari.
No rush, no crowd. Started on bolero to kuldhara village, visited natural lake and reached safari point. Each of us were given one camel. Camel ride lasted for an hour taking us through the inner deserts and final reaching sand dunes. The admin made tea, pakoda, chips using natural fire. Had them while watching the sun go down. Then we put up the camp fire, had a star studded dinner!

Slept in comfortable tents set up behind the bushes!

Witnessed sun rise🌄 and came back via jeep.

Jaisalmer was our last pit stop during a 10 day road trip in Rajasthan. And nature truly saved the best for the last. This overnight camel safari is like no other experience one would come across. The calmness of the desert, wind gushing, a bonfire, a hot meal and unlimited conversations. Ali bhai made the desert an unforgettable memory for me. We started on jeeps from the city till a pick up point. This was followed by an hour long camel ride to the deep desert. We set up tents and a bonfire here and spent the night. We returned next morning Post breakfast at around 9am to the city via camel+jeep. I would recommend everyone to experience this atleast once in their life. It would become one of the best experiences in your lives. And needless to say, do it only with Ali bhai. The man is a guide and entertainer, all in one.

This was an excellent experience. The location was truly non touristic. The best parts of the trip were the friendly nature of the host and the starry night sky. We couldn't sleep the whole night and spent entire time star gazing. I would suggest to go for non touristic overnight safari instead of those commercial ones where they have huge crowd, tents and song & dance. This one was a true desert safari experience. If you are a couple this is totally safe. We were given our privacy and the host made sure we felt safe all the time. Few recommendations, bring a good camera, power bank and download 'Stellarium' app for star gazing on your phone. You will thank me later.

Loved it. The tour included also the ghost village and khaba fort, both worth to see. the camel ride through the dunes was incredible and the atmosphere on the dune where we slept was magical. They provided whatever we needed. I just recommend something hot for your feet, hands and hat, and maybe some warm clothes cause (in november) it got a little bit colder than we expected in the night and morning and we weren't prepared for that. Very cool to see how they cooked food in front of us, how they arranged everything and how they handle the camels.
A very nice experience and a good price, I'd say a real (safe and cozy) adventure :)

The safari out to the Thar Desert was the main reason I travelled to Jaisalmer and Charisma provided a great experience. We saw a few quiet desert sites before undertaking the camel ride into the sandy desert where we watched the sunset before sharing a dinner around a fire cooked by our guides, and sleeping under the stars in the traditional way in a warm cacoon of blankets. We awoke to see a glorious sunrise, before having breakfast and riding back. As a photographer, I couldn’t stop taking photos of the untouched sand dunes in the evening and morning light. Amazing!

We were a small group and alone in our stretch of desert so this tour lived up to its non-touristic billing. I met some a wonderful group of people and Ali is also a great guy who made the safari experience fun and run seamlessly. An experience I’ll remember forever.

We did the overnight camel safari and had a wonderful time. After a quick stop at an abandoned village and oasis, we met our camels and headed out into the desert. Our guides were lovely, explaining life out in the desert and answering any questions we had.

When we arrived at the camp site, they got to work making a delicious dinner whilst we watched the sunset. At night, we slept on camp beds under the stars which was truly magical. Make sure to take a jumper as the temperatures drop overnight.

In the morning, we were served chai in bed before heading back. Overall a great experience!

This was really lovely! Ali takes you to the middle of the desert from where his uncle and nephew guide you on the camels. You are taken past their village, where we were invited for massala chai. The desert ride was beautiful and tranquil. At the camp site your hosts prepare a fresh meal on fire after which you chill out at the bonfire and sleep under the open sky.

It was beautiful and a great show of Rajasthani hospitality so I defo recommend this experience! For the winter months: bring extra socks and/or a sleeping bag, because it gets cold ;)

The owner offered us this desert experience. It was worth every penny. The long ride in bolero, Kuldhara village, camel safari, sunset, campfire, cooking in the desert etc. Were the things we experienced in this trip.
I believe it is a must for anyone who visits Jaisalmer.
Especially non tourist way, was very unique. It was my first desert experience and I wish to do it again if I visit Jaisalmer.

The overnight camel safari was a great little trip to do while staying in Jaiselmer. After driving in a jeep into the desert we switched to camels for a short journey into the sand dunes where we made camp. Great people and food, had a lot of fun sleeping under the stars. Better than a tourist resort.

Went for the desert safari with these guys. Amazing experience. Took us to a secluded place so no crowd and the price was very fair as well. There was a desert storm as well but these guys handled it pretty well.
