          Best tour around Siem Reap
Saruon (Pal) and Naro are an amazing guide and driver duo, they took amazing care of us supplying us with water and cold towels in this crazy heat. The information our guide Pal gave us was really amazing and the temples we cover are beyond beautiful. Packed 2 days but worth it to cover the main beauty of Siem Reap. 100% recommend, you learn so much about their history and are able to understand what’s in the temples.

          Amazing tour of Angkor Wat!
We had an amazing tour with Mr. Sopheap Rath and our driver Mr. Sambath. We learned allot about the religion, culture and herritage of Angkor Wat and Cambodia. They showed us several of the beautyful temples, we had time for shopping, lunch and closed our day with a lovely sunset on top of a temple. I can absolutely recomend the Tour ❤️

          Comfortable, enjoyable, beautiful
Really great tour with a fantastic guide and driver. We went at a good pace and had plenty of time to see the three temples we visited. At each one we got an in-depth explanation of the subtleties and history that added a whole new dimension to the trip. And the cooled mini bus with water and towels was highly welcomed in between the temples. You’d be lucky to have Samnang (Lucky) and Mouse to guide you.

Recommend this tour to Ankor Wat
Visiting the Angkor Wat temples with our guide, Lucky, was an amazing experience! Lucky was knowledgeable, friendly, and brought Cambodia’s rich history to life. The small, personal tour group made it even more special, and he guided us to the best photo spots while avoiding crowds. If you’re in Siem Reap, this tour is a must—it’s the perfect way to explore the breathtaking temples and learn about their incredible history!

          Outstanding Experience.
Both Dara, our driver, and Bun, our guide were awesome! The tour was spectacular! I highly recommend it. If you book the 2 day tour, note that we got picked up at 5:15AM on the 2nd day for Angkor Wat - you don't need to get a 4:30AM pickup. The sun didn't rise until 6:12AM on our day and it wasn't that spectacular a view. I think you need to be there on the Vernal or Atumnal Equinoxes to really get the most out of it. Having Dara and Bun 100% at our disposal made this a really good, tailored experience.

Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour with Sok
Sok was a fantastic guide! We loved our sunrise Angkor Wat tour and learned so much about Angkor Wat and the history of Cambodia. It was fantastic to get a cold towel and cold water after each temple visit to keep us cool. Would highly recommend!

Book with Pi for an amazing tour of Ankor Wat and beyond
If you're considering exploring the temples around Angkor Wat, I cannot recommend this two-day tour enough! Our tour guide, Pi, was absolutely phenomenal—his depth of knowledge about the history, culture, and architecture brought the temples to life in a way that was both engaging and awe-inspiring. His passion for the site shone through every explanation, making the experience unforgettable. Keal, our driver, was equally fantastic. Navigating the area with skill and ensuring we stayed cool and refreshed with cold towels after each temple stop—an absolute dream in the heat. The itinerary was perfectly planned, balancing the iconic grandeur of Angkor Wat with quieter, less-visited temples for a truly immersive experience. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, making this an exceptional way to explore one of the world's most iconic cultural wonders. Don’t hesitate—this tour is worth every moment!

          Five star service and tour!
Wonderful 2 day small group excursion. From the hotel pick-ups to the temples, our Guide (Pal) Saruon Pal and driver Mr Mao were a great team and a pleasure to be around. Pal was extremely knowledgeable and having his I-pad to help "teach" us about all the history of the temples we visited was such a plus. I highly recommend Journey Cambodia and if you can, request Pal and Mr Mao... you won't be dissapointed!

          Worthy experience!
This is a must do tour. We go to 3 of the most famous temples and Nimol our guide, had a wealth of information. He really added to the experience. Although we cover our own lunch, the restaurant they take us to was very good and well priced. Would even go there again if it were closer! Note that it is extremely hot. The tour provides cold water and cool cloths after each temple. Also, use bug spray by the 3rd temple. I didn't realize I was getting munched on, until later that evening!

          Absolutely worth EVERY DOLLAR
Absolutely worthwhile EVERY DOLLAR, it was an extraordinary experience, made even better by our knowledgeable and friendly guide NIMOL. He is welcoming and very informative. and also, very sociable. The tour (best temples day tour in Siem Reap with sunset) to the incredible temples, was also history lesson about the country which our guide NIMOL delivered fluently. On another note, the transportation was top notched., endless supplies of water and cool refreshing hand towels. This tour is a must for all ages when you are visiting SIEM REAP... cannot recommend highly enough! What a remarkable day we’ve all had, it will be cherished for la long time. Many thanks to all the staff.

          Highly recommended experience
Amazing experience! Thanks to our wonderful guide Pal and driver Mao our group was provided with everything we could’ve asked for and even more - best views, lots of historical facts, amazing pictures, friendly atmosphere in the group. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience as a solo traveler, and all sightseeing which was covered in these two days will take a while to process in the best way possible. Special thanks to Pal for all of his jokes and the “chop-chop” 😁

          Fantastic tour, even better guide
This was a fantastic tour. If you only have a few days in Siem Reap, this is the one. You get a full flavor of different types of temples and Pal, our guide, was excellent at explaining all the sites. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. I had a very positive experience and feel lucky that I got this tour with Pal.

My wife and I elected to do the sunrise tour, which I don't recommend. The tour is advertised as 8 hours long, which is 4 hours longer than you need to see the temples in question. The pictures were beautiful, but it added like 3 hours to the tour which was already way too long. Not worth it. After we fought the enormous crowds for the sunrise pictures, we spent almost a full hour outside the gates of Angkor Wat waiting for the sun to rise fully. Again, not worth it. Once we got inside the temple, our guide spent the majority of his time explaining frescoes and carvings that were extremely repetitive. Just to touch on our guide for a second, he was very knowledgeable but incredibly dull. Also, he was extremely hard to understand, and he kept leaving us without any instructions as to where we were supposed to be going. He repeated the same 4 pieces of information as nauseum throughout the whole tour, he didn't crack a single joke or smile one time. We saw other guides suggesting picture locations and helping tourists get good pics, but our guide did no such thing. The thing that pissed me off the most was the sheer amount of time he spent describing the same types of things over and over. Tour was advertised as 3 locations, back to the hotel by noon. At 10:00, we had not left the first location. When we did leave, our guide told us that we would spend 2 hours at the second location, and another 1.5 or 2 hours at the last location before we departed. We convinced him to speed up so we could make another obligation we had at 1, but he only did so begrudgingly. The only thing good about this tour was the transportation between the temples! We learned more about the locations from Wikipedia when we got back to the hotel than we did on the tour itself. Save your money and hire a tuk tuk take you to the temples for the day.

Dear Garrett & Emily, Thanks so much for taking the time and sharing your feedback with us Journey Cambodia. It’s only with feedback like this that we can improve and develop our whole team towards providing our customers which a consistently excellent experience. We are so sorry to hear that your tour didn’t meet your expectations and thanks so much for this instructive feedback. We do agree with you and due to the limitation of tour guide knowledge left you to feel bored. With too much detail on the history and also crowed on the day due to the peak season then the tour was finished late than expected time. We are aware that in this case the standard was not to our normal level and therefore we will take immediate action and ensure our guide receives the necessary personal training and development before leading any future tours. Best Regards, Boret Ream

Our guide Sokphy Sumsot was so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately due to the location of the sun at this time of year the sunrise over Angkor wat was later & not as exciting as expected but we did have a really good position of the sunrise and our guide ensured we captured the best possible views & photos. We saw 4 different temples and got to spend plenty of time exploring and learning about them. Sokphy was happy to take photos and wait for us to capture images. He answered any questions we had and gave us lots of in-depth information about the history and culture. Our driver the handsome man was safe, friendly and well
Organised with cool scented towels and cold bottles of water to Refresh when we got back to the bus. The communication from journey Cambodia was spot on when two friends wanted to join me. I loved the small group aspect as there was only 8 which allowed for individual questions, time exploring and new friendships to form.
Thank you journey Cambodia and especially our guide and driver for making it a fabulous experience. Highly recommend.

Great tour, a very engaged and friendly tour guide and the sunrise (albeit lots of people around you) tops everything so make sure to book the sunrise tour. Means getting up at 4 a.m. but worth it!
We did 3 of the big temples in detail (incl. f course Angkor Wat and the "Tomb Raider" one from the movie with Angelina Jolie) with plenty of time to stop, take pictures and listen to the historic background and stories of our guide. Bus also stopped along the way multiple times for a quick hop off to take in Elephant Terraces etc. Before the tour, you can decide between one, two and multiple day ticket to purchase (entrance fee not included in tour) in case you want to come back on your own for more temple watching. Saves you a few dollars and you can definitely spend days at this magnificent cultural site. Tour ends at 12.30, highly recommend this operation!

Had a great time with our tour with Saruon and Mong. They took us around to view 5 temples. Saruon was VERY knowledgable with the history of the temples. He gave us lots of information of the temples. status, cravings, etc which was very helpful because I did not have much knowledge prior. The driver took us there safely and had water and cold, refreshing towels as it is quite hot - it is Cambodia of course :)

My only suggestion if you are doing the 4am, sunrise trip is to bring some snacks into the tour. Pickup time is around 4am and you wont eat your breakfast box or at the restaurant around 8:30am - 9am. I was a bit hungry during that time with walking so def bring a snack in your back pack.

Other than that everything was great. Thanks for the great experience.

Our guide, Saruon Pal, and driver, Mong, ensured we had an amazing tour from start to finish. They picked us up from our hotel precisely on time even though it was outside the normal pickup zone. From there it was painless to buy tickets and get dropped off at the quieter East gate. Saruon Pal helped position everyone for the perfect sunrise view of Angkor Wat. Following sunrise, he provided detailed descriptions and history of the temple and country as we walked the grounds. He continued to provide detailed information of all the temples we visited throughout the day. We ended the day getting dropped off back at our hotel after an amazing experience that we would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Angkor Wat.

Mr. Saruon Pal knows where all the best photo spots are and has a lot of experience taking amazing photos.

Mong was always ready to transport us to our next spot with a smile and an offer of a bottle of water or cold towel.

We were delighted to be able to secure this sunrise tour from our home prior to setting out on our travels. Booking was easy and we received quick confirmation of our booking. The day before the tour started we received an email from our tour company outlining dress code, time of pick up and advice regarding the cost of entrance fees and keeping healthy whilst on the tour.

As promised in the email our guide Saroun and Mr Gill the driver arrived slightly before the estimated pick up time. We picked all the other members of our tour and set off for Angkor Wat to watch the sunrise. Saroun guided us to get our tickets and then across the entrance to wait for the sun to rise. His advice was good and we changed our position of standing to see the sun rise between the towers of Angkor Wat. It was spectacular and he kindly took pictures of individual couples or people if they wished to record the visit. He was able to knowledgeably describe the history to the temple and then at 8.30am we had the breakfast our hotel provided for us. It was then onwards to visit Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom, Bayron Temple and the Elephant terrace. It was an early start (4.15am) and we returned to the hotel around 1.30pm approximately.

Day 2 was a later start at 7.40am with 8 places to visit! These included Kravan Temple, the Royal swimming pool (Sras Srang), Pre Rup Temple, Ta Som Temple, Neak Poan Temple, Preah Khan Temple and Banteay Srei Temple.

Overall the two days involved lots of walking in hot and humid temperatures however we well and truly have explored this area of Cambodia. The price of the 2 day tour includes collection and return to your hotel, the transportation to all temples, the accompaniment of a knowledgeable tour guide Saroun who is very approachable, ensures everyone is comfortable, copious bottles of water are supplied by Mr Gill along with very welcomed and refreshing cool flannels which are just what is needed to keep you going.

We would recommend this tour if you are in the area. However you must be aware there is a considerable amount of walking over rough and uneven ground with steep steps at temple sights. It was definately something we wanted to see and were not disappointed at all. Thank you Saroun and Mr Gill.

I participated in this tour with a group of four, and we were overall very pleased with the experience. Sokphy Sumsot was a very knowledgeable guide and knew all of the best spots for us to grab photos. He clearly loves what he does, and it shows! We enjoyed Angkor Wat, and also thoroughly enjoyed the nearby temples just as much. The service of the tour was impeccable, including on-time pickup/departure, ice cold water served periodically, and chilled towels provided as a relief from the heat. I would recommend this experience to my friends/family visiting Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples.

This day trip was perfect for our time in Siem Reap. We started at sunrise (the actual sunrise that day was underwhelming and there were many loud tourists, but of course this is out of the guide's control) and then visited all the highlights - Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Bayon Temple. We stopped for a nice breakfast as well. Our guide provided helpful information about each sight and spoke excellent English. The van we rode around in was comfortable, air conditioned and the driver provided water and cool towels. I would highly recommend this tour!

Our family of 4 (2 adults/2 older teens) had arranged for the tour on Dec 26. We received an email the day before with the estimated pick up time from our hotel. Our guide Phal and driver Piseth were excellent. The pick up was right on time and we then went around to pick up a couple more families to complete our small group. They had this well coordinated to ensure we were able to buy our tickets and be at the perfect photo spot before the mass of others arrived. As a result, we were right up front and were able to capture some excellent shots of the main Angkor temple as the sunrise happened. From there, Phal took us around the main Angkor temple and gave us information at various points around the grounds. The group size was good and the length of the tour was good. By the end, the temperatures were getting a little too warm and we were glad to be able to relax poolside. Overall, the value of this tour is very good and having a guide and a driver is extremely helpful to getting around and understanding what you are looking at.

I booked this tour very last minute on my last day in Siem Reap and it was the best way I can think of ending my time in Cambodia. I am a solo female traveller and can easily recommend this for other solo travellers and groups alike. I found it was the perfect length as everyone was exhausted afterwards but in the best way. 3 temples, loads of facts, and a breakfast break too - you can’t really ask for much more here.
I really hit the jackpot with my guide Tann. He was super friendly, had lots of information tailored to what the group was most interested in, his English was great and he quickly adapted to a portion of the group who didn’t speak either English or Khmer. He knew all the great spots and took us there at the right times to avoid the crowds so we barely ever stood in a line. On top of all that, I’ve never had a guide who is better with a camera.
Huge thanks to Journey Cambodia for the amazing day
