Overview
The temples of Angkor are a UNESCO World Heritage site and Cambodia’s most visited attraction. On this private tour, avoid the crowds and enjoy a personalised experience with a guide on hand to share fascinating facts and historical background about the ancient temples. See Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Ta Prohm, and Angkor Wat, and stay late to watch the sunset from Pre Rup Temple.
What to Expect
Begin your tour with pickup from your Siem Reap hotel and travel to the Angkor Archaeological Park in the comfort of a private air-conditioned vehicle. Although your tour can be customised to suit your preferences, most tours start with a visit to Angkor Thom, followed by the Bayon Temple, two of the most memorable sights. During the visits, your guide will point out notable architectural elements and explain the fascinating history of the temples and the Khmer Empire.

After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Ta Prohm Temple, also known as the ‘jungle temple’ as it is overgrown with trees. Finally, arrive at the famous Angkor Wat, where your guide will show you where to take the best photos, before heading inside to explore further.

At the end of the day, make your way to Bakheng Hill to watch the stunning sunset over Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. In the evening, return to Siem Reap, where you will be dropped back at your hotel.
