We booked this trip on the strength of the itinerary as advertised. However, the fort and museum were both still shut due to COVID so we paid over AED 1400 to sit in a car for 8 hours looking out the window. It would have been more cost effective to just drive over to Fujairah ourselves. I did feed back to the tour operator that they should be notifying customers at the point of booking that the itinerary is not currently as stated in the advertisement. I appreciate COVID is not their fault and I’m keen to promote local tourism, but operators need to be clearer in stating what their trips currently offer.
