I love taking small group city tours every time I travel, but it’s always a gamble as there are so many companies out there and quality isn’t consistent. Well, this tour was so incredibly worth it and I would recommend to anyone looking for a guided tour of the city. The group was really small at 7 people (it was Jan.1st) we had a small bus that would drop us off as close as possible to the stops; an expert guide, Maaz Khan, who gave us so much great information about everything we were seeing, took phenomenal pictures of us at every stop and not to mention we were first at every location before the majority of tourists arrived. Everything was so well planned and thought of it almost felt like a private tour. Excellent experience overall.

Superb Tour with Excellent TourGuide
We decided to take part in the half day Dubai Tour + Dubai Frame. What got our attention is – apart from the planned tour – the high rate of positive reviews with OceanAir.
Our Tour guide was Mohamed Ali. He was an awesome guide and did an amazing job in making this half-day tour unforgettable. He explained many details and informed us about life in Dubai, the UAE, history, Islam, traditions, etc..
It was a funny and interesting tour. The communication the day before was very guide as they informed us about the tour again and when our pick-up time at the hotel will be (within 15 minutes timeslot). The guide picked us up on-time. The tour went a little bit longer than planned, but that was no issue at all. The guide gave us enough time at every stop to explore things, go around and to shop when it comes to the souk area.
The restaurant at the end was amazing. We went for the tour with the lunch option in advance, so we had lunch already included, which consisted of a soup, a salad, and a main course of our choice for a fair price. If you think you are hungry at the end of the tour, the food option that is offered with the tour is a good choice and cheaper than ordering the food there without having chosen the lunch option that is offered with the tour.
A big shoutout to OceanAir and Mohamed Ali for this amazing experience. We had an amazing time.

Excellent Global Village Transfer

We booked a trip with Oceanair Tour Travel and went to the Global Village. Our driver’s name was Firos and we were completely satisfied with the service! Our driver was extremely punctual both on the pickup and the return trip and offered us an uncomplicated driving service. During the ride our driver gave us useful advice and told us intresting facts about the city. The trip was extremely pleasant and we can only recommend a trip with Oceanair and its driver Firos.

An amazing experience even if you’ve been here before like me
The tour was amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the Emirati culture. His experience added rich depth to our experience. We were also impressed with how much we covered in what seemed like a quick 6 hours. They even included a short boat ride which I was not loving at first since I get sea sick but in the end it was short and well worth it. I also recommend them because the large bus gave us the opportunity to spread out especially during these COVID times even though we are all vaccinated.

I can’t say enough. Highly recommend this tour. This is my second time in Dubai and it’s been 10 years since my last visit and his insight as a tour guide brought us up to date with changes since the last time we were here.

I also like that they take our questions and respond to our curiosity even about Islam and more. It was an enriching experience.

The tour to go!
A perfect tour to start your visit in dubai.
As it mentionedby its name you get to visit the new dubai and to have an idea about the luxurious new dubai by visiting many places
And it ends with taking a water ride to the old city and visiting the famous gold souk and spices souk. We ended our tour by visiting a beautiful traditional Emirati Restaurant.
They offer you a free delicious Emirati bread, dates and arabic coffee but the lunch is extra charge. The tour offers a brilliant option that it can drop you off in any other location you want as long as it is in the city range.
Our guide was super nice and informative.

This was my family’s first time in Dubai and I 100% recommend this tour as it’s the perfect start to the trip. Our guide Hassan told us very interesting facts about the city, country and the religious practices of its citizens. He also taught us how to haggle at the local markets, and in fact went out of his way to get us some money back when we over paid at a market. These small details set apart the experience from making it a good tour, to a brilliant one. Thanks again to our guide Hassan for such a great experience!

Old & Modern Dubai Tour with Adnan!

A must do tour if you visit Dubai! It was made even more memorable by our awesome, extremely knowledgeable and jovial tour guide - Mr. Adnan!!

He was patient and welcomed our questions, took the time to explain and clarify anything we requested. There’s soo much about the history of UAE that I was not aware about and I left richer in knowledge and most grateful for the knowledge he imparted on my children who I had travelled with.

Besides the knowledge, there were spectacular spots where we took the professional pictures and he also took time to snap us photos with our phones. The tours and sightseeing were not rushed, we had a shared ride and he gave ample time and accommodated our children and those of the family we travelled with. I wanted a picture at the Dubai Frame and he incorporated into the tour and got us shots there.

Thank you Adnan for being a part of our DBX adventure and capturing lovely moments! We received our photos within 2 days of the tour which was exciting as we could see them even before we left the country. At the end of the trip, we tasted coffee & dates plus Ragag (Delish), what a way to be immersed in culture!

So if you visit Dubai, we would recommend this tour, the response time is timely and all instructions are provided well in advance. Ask for Adnan, he’s great!

Great intro tour to the city

We did the 5 hour Dubai city tour with our guide/photographer Maaz Khan and had a great time! We booked the tour through Get Your Guide, and it was run by a local company called OceanAir Travels.

The night before the tour, OceanAir sent us detailed information regarding pickup and things to expect/bring for the tour. Khan then sent us a separate WhatsApp to give us an approximate time he would pick us up and to answer any questions we had.

The morning of the tour, we were picked up from our hotel and was greeted by Khan waiting for us in the lobby. I loved that the tour was kept as a small group because of COVID and because it allowed for Khan to give us more time and attention, instead of being herded around like cattle on one of those big bus tours. We were able to visit some of the known sites in the city without the hassle of having to find our way around. At each site, we were able to explore on our own a little bit and Khan patiently waited if we wanted more time.

Khan was very knowledgeable about each of the sites and gave us lots of information and great conversation. He also took lots of photos of us on his camera as well as on our phones, which is great because its always hard to stop others to help you take photos while on vacation and they are not as patient in terms of getting a good shot. Khan took us to great photo spots, walked us through poses that he knew looked good, and took other shots based on our own preferences/suggestions.

TLDR: all in all, good tour to get a brief summary and information on what the city has to offer and get great photos without the hassle of flagging strangers down or lugging your own gear. Not for if you want to spend a lot of time at one place, but this will help you narrow down things to do or places to revisit.

I had a pleasant experience. Would recommend to my friends either solo travelling or in groups.
Communication:
I was on a solo trip to Dubai. I booked this tour as a last minute activity and communications with the tour agency was good. They informed me of when I should expect to be picked up for the tour. On the day of the tour, my guide was Shakil and he called/messaged before the pickup time.

The Tour & Tour Guide:
Together with two other tour participants (also travelling solo), we were shown around Dubai by Shakil and he suggested places to see and take photos…with interesting fun facts along the way. He was immensely helpful in taking photos with his camera and our phones. At the end of the tour, I came away with lots of photos and good memories. It felt more like a private tour with equal attention given to each participant, customised photo sessions, photos spots and poses. For me, it was important to be shown around or photographed by someone who had a friendly personality, as well as good knowledge of the city and its people…an important factor to look out for if you’re planning to do this activity.

The Photos:
A couple of days after the tour, the photos were shared with me via Google drive and the quality was impressive. Still good experience with comms from the agency.
I would’ve preferred sunnier weather but oh well…my trip was in January and I booked the tour on what turned out to be a rainy and windy day.

Tip: Take a change of clothes if you wish.

I am happy I took this tour and would recommend it. My activity was on a rainy, cloudy, and windy day, but thankfully Shakil had a commendable personality to encourage smiling during the photoshoots. Oh, and he came prepared with bottles of water, umbrella, and abaya for the ladies during the Mosque visit.

I hope you book it and I hope you have a pleasant experience.

Adnan your friendly and competent city guide and photographer in Dubai.

Our friendly city guide and photographer Adnan picked up all group participants on time from their respective hotels. We were a colorful mixed group of singles and a couple from different countries. Adnan managed to quickly establish a pleasant atmosphere in our group, so we often laughed during our tour. On the way to the individual stops, Adnan told us a lot about the individual sights / attractions not only of Dubai, but of the Emirates as a whole. Not monotonously, but in a casual way, which always included us.We could also ask questions at any time, which he has competently answered to the best of his knowledge and conscience. He was impressed by his many years of experience. What I also found very good is that he always included us in the stops and asked for special stops on the way to the stops, so that every tour participant had the opportunity to propose his attration he will see. Even as a photographer I can only recommend Adnan without hesitation. He didn’t just take excellent pictures of me. Even by own pictures, he often gave all group participants competent support for poses and light, which was noticeable in the originality and quality of the pictures. His knowledge of Islamic culture and faith were outstanding. It was impressive to see how safe, competent and convincing he performed it in an ever more relaxed atmosphere. Although I have often travelled to the Emirates, I found the tour with Adnan as guide totally enriching and informative. Adnan was a friendly and knowledgeable guide during the whole tour. I also met him as a very likable person.
