Excellent but .....

We had an amazing late afternoon in to early evening trip which enabled us to see it in the daylight, at sunset and then whilst dark. Level 148 was incredible!!! We would have given this 5 stars BUT "Skip the Line" involved joining a queue to then be put in another queue in order to get our pre-ordered tickets!!!! Our "VIP" descent was equally chaotic!!

On top of the world
Had a lovely time and took our toddler who wasn’t in the best mood. Everyone was lovely even with him running around. We did the VIP tour to the upper floor which I would recommend as you don’t have to wait in massive queues. The view at night was specular on the top floor

Worth the money to not stand in line
Definitely worth skipping the long line. Too bad you still get trapped in a line for the elevator when you leave the common area floor where it leaves you at the end. We probably waited in that a half hour or so.

The floor where it takes the skip the line people is nice and not crowded like the common floor.

Having said that, it does get quite crowdy at the Burj Khalifa. The best way to experience the tallest structure in the world is to opt for the “Skip the line” tickets as they are worth every penny. Skip the "Skip the line"
So you've come to a Dubai and you just have to go up the world's tallest building. There are different options for tours so which one do you choose. I have visited the Burj twice now and I wish I had just skipped the Skip the line tour, because you really don't. For a noon departure, we still had to wait in line albeit a smaller line to have our tickets validated. Then we had to wait in a separate lounge area but there were no audio visual presentations or anything. Then we had to hustle to keep up with our guide who was rushing us through. He spoke hurriedly through a terrible microphone and speaker contraption and you either could t hear hi or could t understand him. You wait again in line at the elevators and are taken up to the Sky Lounge on the 148th floor where we were just dumped. Never saw the guide again. Had to figure our own way to get back down. The dates and drinks were nice at the lounge but not worth all the extra money. And the view from the 148th isn't any better than the view from the 125th. It turned out to be a total waste of money. For my money, I would pick an early morning time to beat the crowds and just do the observation decks on the 124/125th floors.

Not worth it due to poor execution.

Terribly managed. We arrived for 6pm reservation, hoping to see the sunset at 6:55pm. Held in a “VIP” waiting room for thirty minutes, taken on a “tour” to the elevator with approximately 50 people, one guide at front with terrible mic and speaker that you couldn’t understand. Once you are at 148th floor, you literally have to walk through a very expensive VIP gift shop for observation deck. View is impressive but Dubai can get very hazy so it is limited. Very, very crowded, poor signage, limited bathrooms and several different gift shops made navigation of the different levels aggravating. Don’t expect to take good pics at night because the reflections on the inside and outside of the glass windows make it nearly impossible. I have been up to many observation deck in other tall buildings, this was just poorly executed! Absolute waste of $600 for four people and two hours of frustration.

Badly organised waste of time

Went with the family to enjoy Dubai from the very top. We bough VIP skip the line tickets. I have never seen so many people in one go. The queues were extremely busy with people literally crammed on top of each other. There are only two small lifts and lots of people. No oxygen, low ceilings and people who work there could not care less about you. We were badly advised as where to go and how and where to queue on the way up and down. What was supposed to be a pleasurable experience. Took 3 and half hours, simply because one had to wait for lifts and that with skip the line. It was a complete waste of time where children were crying they were so tired. Also if there would have been fire or emergency, not many people to guide or help or anything. This place is a real hazard.

Wonderful
What an absolute pleasure. Driver arrived fought through the downtown traffic an delivered us straight to the ticket entrance door. We did indeed skip the queue to collect our tickets and skipped the queue to the elevator. This whole thing took less than 25 mins. It was worth the extra to get to the 148th floor where there were far fewer people than on 125. It was a wonderful experience.

Overated and overpriced!
This is the worst tour I've ever been on. 'skip the line' , you will still be in a queue with the rest and have to wait for elevators to go up and down. You are no VIP at all.

Level 148 is no big difference than 125 and 124, view was the same, it's a waste of time and money paying for this VIP ticket. All the 3 levels you can only see the view from behind the glass which was very dirty full of fingerprints making it difficult to take photos. You can't see very clear due to the visibility since it's very poor due to the place being a desert.

The Burj Khalifa is amazing from the outside but not worth visiting on the inside.

The service is definitely worth its price.
You get a VIP sticker which allows you to access the elevator to the top quickly and efficiently. The experience at the 148 floor is very different to that of the "economy" class (I did the later a year ago). There are less people, better conditions for taking pictures, you get some snacks and drinks and there is a reasonable size sitting area and some additional places right at the windows. The time limit is not strictly imposed.
You fill the difference going down to the 124, 125 levels. Even there you can skip the lines to lifts going down, there is a dedicated line for VIP sticker holders.

Skip the Line Burj Khalifa

Having the ticket to go up before arriving was definitely much better than standing in the long line to get it on site. You get an extra floor with this ticket, and technically the view is the same as the lower floors, but it is much quieter and easier to move around. Reserving near sunset was reccommended, which is a great idea, but it was darn busy there at that time, and still a challenge to get pics with everyone working on their Instagram shots.
