Overview
Exploring old Dubai alone can be difficult if you’re unfamiliar with its districts and transport systems. Ideal for first-timers, this guided small-group walking tour steers you around the sights, and lets you shop and absorb the city's atmosphere. Bargain-hunt at Deira’s souks, view Al Bastakiya’s wind towers, cruise Dubai Creek, and savor an Emirati lunch as you uncover Dubai’s past. A choice of departures gives you flexibility with your schedule.
What to Expect
Book your desired departure and meet your guide in Deira in old Dubai. This bustling district is home to several colorful souks and street markets.

Stroll to the Gold and Spice Souks, inspecting some landmarks and uncovering Dubai’s history as a pearl trading town on route. Then, peruse the shops offering gold, silver, souvenirs, and spices. Practice haggling with pointers from your guide, including ktir ghalee (too expensive) when vendors quote their first price, and bag some bargains.

Next, ride an abra (water taxi) across Dubai Creek. Admire the panoramic views as you sail, and disembark on the southern bank to explore the Al Bastakiya (Al Fahidi) quarter, where Persian merchants first settled in the late 1800s.

Delve into the lanes to see the restored wind towers and houses, and afterward, savor a traditional Emirati lunch at one of Dubai’s best-loved restaurants. Your tour concludes in the Bur Dubai district.

I would think it would be less hot in the morning . You visit a museum and that’s air conditioning but most is outside . She is wonderful and the tour with her was a highlight to my time in Dubai
