Full-Day Tour of Abu Dhabi City From Dubai
US$43.00
Overview

Get to know the UAE capital of Abu Dhabi in full, without transport worries and with the benefit of a guide, on this day trip from Dubai. Avoid ticket lines on a tour of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, view all the Abu Dhabi landmarks with ease, and enjoy guided commentary for a more enriching experience than a DIY trip. Plus, get time out midway for a lunch of your choice (own expense).

What to Expect

After hotel pickup in Dubai, venture south by air-conditioned vehicle to Abu Dhabi, hearing about the city's explosive growth on the back of its 1950s oil boom from your guide as you travel.

On arrival, enjoy a tour of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the world’s largest mosques. Explore the white marble arcades and courtyards, and visit the prayer room as you hear about the mosque’s design and significance.

Continue to Yas Island for photo-ops outside Yas Marina Circuit and Ferrari World, and then drive by the surreal-looking cultural buildings sprouting up on Saadiyat Island.

Pass Qasr Al Hosn, a former home of Abu Dhabi’s royals, and after a break for lunch (own expense) at Marina Mall, see Corniche and Emirates palaces before visiting Heritage Village to learn about the city’s original Bedouin culture.

Your tour ends with hotel drop-off in Dubai.

Great tour, great guide, and I learned a lot about the UAE

Sherit was a great guide. He really wanted us (the guests) to learn the history/culture of the UAE beyond just our taking pictures. He also suggested an tour discounted buffet at a hotel, which to us was a better option than the mall food court.

We had about 30 min at the Louvre to see the lobby and grounds. Very neat - pool surrounds part of museum.

I would think that would be fine. I stayed a way out and it wasn’t an issue. Always best to contact the operator direct though to be absolutely sure.
