We were lucky to see all of the greatest hits of Gatun lake, 3 close encounters with different monkeys, other species as well as cargo ship crossing. And also locations explaining his personal history which shaped his world perspective. Very attentive, personable, and overall wonderful guide. So glad to have met Richard, in addition to the tour itself.

Our tour through Panama Vibes could not have been better. The tour was the Show Me The City Tour. We got to visit the locks, Casca Viejo, Panama Viejo, and generally get a feel of the city. The coordination of the pickup from our hotel was handled very well with a call from the tour company the day before the tour to let us know the time of pickup from our hotel and how to identify the driver. On the day of the tour the driver called to let us know he had arrived early and would be waiting when we came down. Josue, was our guide and he was a fount of information and guidance. He was knowledgeable about the city, the country, the specific sites, and was helpful in many ways. The tour was conducted professionally and the automobile was clean and reliable. The tour stood out, though, because of Josue. We would happily engage his services in the future.

We loved Richard! He was knowledgeable and kind. Richard took us to places that we did not expect to see. He was passionate about and proud of his country. These qualities are hard to find. Thank you!

The tour was amazing!! Our tour guide Richard was such a historian and so knowledgeable on the ecosystem in Panama. We truly enjoyed his insight! Richard and our boat driver went that extra mile to ensure we interacted with the monkeys and also patiently ensured we saw as many animals as possible. I highly recommend this tour!!

The boat ride to see wild monkeys was the highlight of the trip. Alex, our guide, was a fun person and very knowledgeable about the wildlife. Our hike was slightly disappointing since we did not see much wildlife. I would recommend this excursion if you desired experience and see the jungle.

Richard, our guide was extremely efficient and knowledgeable about the history and biodiversity of places seen and visited! Super responsible and accurate, very well spoken and well informed about old and modern views with flawless English and an enthusiasm to educate his audience. We definitely recommend him and this tour! He picked us up at the designated hotel and dropped off! The whole tour was about 6 hours!

Such a fun trip! our guide Richard was super knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. We saw lots of monkeys, loads of other animals and birds, and even glimpsed a couple sloths! I cannot recommend this excursion enough.

Richard was absolutely amazing. He was so knowledgeable on Panama history, culture, and the animals. He made sure we were comfortable at all times. If he didn’t know the answer he pointed us to a source that could find it instantly. He made sure we had a great experience with seeing all 3 variations of monkeys. We saw a sloth, many birds, a Toucan and other indigenous animals. The monkeys even came down to our boat. He even made amazing suggestions of other places to explore to make the rest of our vacation amazing as well.

Alex knows all about Panamá ! He is aware of animal sounds and how to call animals. If your English or Spanish traveller you will have no problem learning from Alex 🙂 I had a great time with Alex! Very welcoming and knowledgeable

What a great experience! Our guide Richard was incredible, he really went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed every part of the tour. Richard took the time to talk about the history of the area in a way that was engaging and interesting. During the boat ride part of this tour we got to stop by “monkey island” and even have a couple species of monkeys come down from the trees and accepted some snacks right from our hands. The boat ride was very nice. After the boat ride we walked along pipeline trail and Richard was very informative about the different plants and wildlife, we got to see some wildlife and were lucky enough to see an Anteater!!! Do yourself a favor and book this tour you will not regret it! PS: Richard speaks perfectly fluent English.

Alex was a wonderful guide. He made our experience one we will never forget. I recommend everyone to chose him if you decide to visit and learn about the great city of Panama.

If you are in Panama I highly suggest doing this tour and if you can request the tour guide Alex. Alex was amazing and truly exceptional as a tour guide, from start to finish he was active and very informative of all the culture and nature during the excursion. We first started off with Alex picking us up and bringing us to the boat tour, and the reason I say to request Alex is for this reason, while on the boat tour he was super helpful and very enthusiastic, he made it his job that when we got to the different spots to see the different animals that we get up close and personal, he also brought food for the animals to attract them to our boat and even gave us the food for the Monkeys to grab from our hands. After the boat tour we started our adventure of hiking the national park, and don’t worry this isn’t a 5 hour hike, 30 minutes in and 30 minutes out was perfect. Now the point of the hike is to see and learn more about the nature and animals of Panamá which Alex did an amazing job of stopping multiple times and telling us about the nature as well as always keeping his eyes open for the different animals, we went during rainy season so with the animals it’s either a hit or miss but the boat tour makes up for it! (He was also very prepared and brought us rain ponchos which kept us dry). Me and my partner truly had an amazing time on this tour and Alex was a huge part of it, he’s hard working and truly cares about what he does. It makes all the difference when doing these tours and excursions as without him it wouldn’t have been as informative as it was. Definitely a must do!!

We had a great time!! We learned a lot and had a lot of fun in nature and seeing the animals. The monkeys were adorable. 10/10 would do it again :)
