Overview
Set off for Transylvania from Bucharest during this guided tour that includes round-trip transport and admission tickets to Bran Castle and Pele’s Castle. Along with both castle visits, you’ll enjoy a walking tour of Brasov before your guide sets you free in the medieval town to enjoy some independent time.
What to Expect

Rise and shine, and hop aboard a climate-controlled bus from your hotel, which will transport you from Bucharest to Transylvania. Famous for its romantic views, thick forests, and many medieval castles, this central Romanian region is beautifully atmospheric, and home to the legend of Count Dracula.

This 12-hour tour is certain to please Bram Stoker fans looking to learn more about Romania’s most famous vampire, as Bran Castle—also known as Dracula’s Castle—is the first port of call. A 13th-century hilltop marvel, it’s one of Romania’s most popular (and macabre) landmarks. Peles Castle is also on the itinerary: the former summer residence of Romania’s royal family, it’s a Neo-Renaissance architectural masterwork.

Your day in Transylvania continues with a walking tour of the medieval town of Brasov. Look out for landmarks such as the Black Church and the city’s historic fortress walls, and enjoy some free time to scout out lunch, a coffee, and do some solo exploring. As the day winds down, hop back in the bus, which will drop you directly back at your hotel.

Great tour!

Fully recommend this day trip. Our guide Alex was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his country! Day ended around 10pm and we had a decent amount of time at each castle with a mini walking tour of Brasov. Great day all in all!

Great day trip

This tour was a long day but worthwhile. Both medieval castles were very remarkable and memorable. The tour guide kept the large group together and I felt I got my money's worth.

Roundtrip, Transsylvania

This was great, the guide Alex was very competent and explained a lot about Romanian history and Transsylvania during our trip and in good english. We had some trouble with the bus but the guide handled it well. All ok.

Not aware of any discounts I am afraid. But best asking them, as you never know what they might do to get your custom.

I agree that the bus time was long but it was interesting to look at the beautiful scenery and to listen to the guide explain about the area. I didn't feel rushed in Brasov - we had time to eat at a restaurant and walk... More
