Overview
Be immersed into a fascinating trip to the San Pedro Market, where you’ll be introduced to a vast variety of local and ancient products, learn about the history behind them and their impact in today modern Peruvian gastronomy. Later, we’ll invite you to our cozy cooking studio, located inside a colonial times house (two blocks away from the market), where you’ll step back in time to enjoy a modern Peruvian cooking class guided by a professional Peruvian chef.
What to Expect
We start our gastronomic adventure at the beautiful San Pedro Market, where we will be in contact with a vast variety of local and Andean products and receive a in depth explanation of them. During this one hour activity, you'll also learn about the history behind Peruvian Gastronomy guided by our professional trained chef (Advance English Speaker).

After this, we will head to our cooking studio, located just 2 blocks away from the market where ,according to your class menu selection, you'll enjoy a hands-on Modern Andean Peruvian cooking lesson, where you'll be able to use a variety of products we saw at the market.

LUNCH MENU:
  1. Aperitif: Passion fruit Sour,
    Shake your own Pisco Sours and learn about the history behind our national cocktail.
  2. Appetizer: Classic Peruvian ceviche.
    Our national dish done right.
  3. Main dish: Modern Quinoa Risotto,
    Tri-colored quinoa and Peruvian yellow chili risotto topped with a perfect 64-degree sous vide poached egg.
  4. Dessert: Chirimoya and exotic fruits parfait,
    Have a taste of our best local fruits elegantly served as a parfait.
  5. Moka brewed local coffee espressos, as a grand finale, have a taste of the best organic coffee produced in the Quillabamba valley.
DINNER MENU:
  1. Aperitif: Passion fruit Sour,

  2. Appetizer: Nikkei Style Tiradito,
    Ceviche with a modern twist; Semi cooked sashimi style fish marinated in a Japanese/Peruvian ponzu, avocados, cushuros and sweet potato puree.
  3. Main dish: Quinoa and local spices Crusted Alpaca Tenderloin,
    with roasted loca tubers and native potatoes in an Andean smoked infused chimichurri.
  4. Dessert: Chirimoya and exotic fruits parfait,
    Have a taste of our best local fruits elegantly served as a parfait.
  5. Moka brewed local coffee espressos,
    as a grand finale, have a taste of the best organic coffee produced in the Quillabamba valley.

*All dishes are seasoned with Maras pink salt.

Vegetarian Options:
  • Fish would be replaced with “Sweet cucumber”, a local fruit.
  • Meat would be replaced with mushrooms.
