What to Expect
After pickup from the cruise port or your hotel, meet your guide and journey to Frutillar in a van. Upon arrival, take a stroll by Lake Llanquihue, Chile's largest lake. Enjoy the view of Osorno Volcano, with its perfect cone, and the quaint German-style houses that stand nearby with their fragrant gardens. Then, head for Teatro del Lago ("theater of the lake"), the setting for Chile's biggest annual classical music festival. Next, journey to Puerto Varas, noted for its German-influenced culture, seafood, and beautiful scenery. Enjoy views of the lake and the snow-capped peaks of Mt. Calbuco and Mt. Tronador, and browse the shops for local crafts. Continue to Ensenada and then embark on a gentle walk to the Petrohué Waterfalls. Admire the water tumbling over the volcanic rocks surrounded by a thick forest and make the most of the excellent photo opportunities. Your tour concludes back at your original departure point.

I organized this tour for my wife and I ,plus 25 others from our Azamara cruise ship. We had two mini- buses with two separate guides. Both were excellent! The volcano and the falls were both highlights! Great value as well. This was a wonderful experience!
