About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Jonathan A0 contributionsPrivate two day Tour A and B.We had a great time on tours A and B with Alvin and his team. It started a little late, non day one for tour A, however l we had a private tour with 3 adults (one was my mother in her 80’s) and two kids 7 and 10) and were on the way quickly. Tour B was a much smoother start and in the water across the bay much earlier. Be prepared to wade through shallow waters on and off your boat with each destination. Alvin and his team were very helpful and professional. They were able to assist each person in my family. From our young 7 year old son to eldest 83 year old mother. We were informed about the unique environmental features of each island, beach, and lagoon that we visited as well as the general area of Bacuit bay. I definitely recommend a small private group tour and starting early if possible. Thank you to Lagum adventures and especially Alvin, Jordan, and Edward for making this an unforgettable experience!Written January 15, 2025

- S3685OEnicolel0 contributionsCANCELLED TOUR AND WILL NOT ISSUE REFUNDThis outfit cancelled our private tour after payment had been received (well over most rates in the city). I have been reaching out for over a week trying to receive a refund. DO NOT GO THROUGH THEM.Written January 3, 2025
- amanda_r_t0 contributionsEverything we hoped it would beThere are so many options to pick from that it can seem overwhelming so here is my advice: go with tour A, go with the private option, and have a great time. The team was very responsive via WhatsApp to my questions. We were picked up on time and driven to the tour operator near the dock. There we headed down to the boat and climbed on and away we went. We left earlier than most groups to get ahead and that extra 30 minutes was a game changer because it meant we were ahead all day, at every stop to enjoy things without the crowds. A few tips: rent the water shoes they offer if you don’t have any; ask to have lunch setup on your boat it’s a magical way to eat; bring small bills as there are vendors selling beer and ice cream from kayaks at the stops which is a fun addition to lunch.Written January 2, 2025

- marinefI1091IJ0 contributionsHorrible experience in BalabacMy friends and I did the Balabac tour… what a disaster! Absolutely no communication, food was disgusting. The last days they put us on a island where there is sand flies it was horrible and not safe(still itching few days after). They also have the great idea to go back to the sea when the storm started, feels like nightmare my friend was crying.Written December 29, 2024
- dgkristina0 contributionsMeditative tour with comfy ride to El NidoLagum Adventures was well-organised and they messaged us a day or two before the Underground River tour to remind and also let us know what to wear and bring. On the way to the Underground River, we had a short stop where there was a great view of the West PH Sea. The Underground River tour itself was amazing. We were given audio guides as they observe silence entering the cave for conservation purposes. This made the whole experience quite meditative. After the tour, we had a buffet lunch that included all sorts of Filipino dishes. My group was headed to El Nido after and had booked a van. From the joiner's van for the Underground River tour, we transferred to another van headed for El Nido. We had lots of room despite picking up other passengers along the way and even got to El Nido earlier than expected. Very convenient for us given our tight schedule to be able to do the Underground River Tour and then have a van transfer to El Nido right after.Written December 28, 2024
- Simeon R0 contributionsTour CThe tour was amazing! Initially I thought we would be kayaking, however the weather allowed us to visit 5 islands and the swimming was fun! The tour guides were very supportive and knowledgeable. The food was great too! I’d do this event again!Written December 27, 2024
- shazzypp0 contributionsBeautiful and Relaxing DayIt was a lovely private tour , just bearing in mind although our tour was private, the "hotspots" were very busy with other tours also. However, we worked around this by requesting we get taken to less popular spots to snorkel which still worked out well. The lunch that was prepared for us was amazing and plenty of it. The tour guides were great, Nanu and his crew did a great job.Written December 21, 2024

- 998melaniad0 contributionsBalabac with Lagum - the most amazing tour in the Philippines!I did the Balabac Tour 2-5 December with Lagum and it was the very best thing I did in the Philippines! The tour is very well organised, the campsite in Sicsican is amazing and much better that the other ones in other islands around: not crowded, with wonderful huts right by the beach, fresh coconut, decent toilets/bucket showers, and great people :) The places we visited were breathtaking, with just our small group of less than 20pp and a few couples here and there. It really felt as if we had all the spots and the campsite for ourselves which is priceless! Food was good considering how remote the place is but maybe having a bit more fruits would have been great ;) A big shout out to our guide Renz who was fenomenal! He always made sure that everything was going smoothly and that everyone was happy. He even took fantastic drone shots during the trip for us. Thank you Renz and thank you Lagum! I would go back to the Philippines just to do this tour again with you guys :) One suggestion: it would be great to have the option to do a longer tour (5-6 days). As a solo traveller I can’t do a private tour but I would have loved to have the opportunity to stay longerWritten December 8, 2024

Friend and I decided to visit the zip line before her flight. We took it one way for 600ph, and paid a collective 300php from l Nido town for a tricycles to get there. Once you arrive, you have to walk 5 mins up a very steep hill, but it’s nothing major. After a set of stairs and a waver, you get fitted and zipped up before going over to a small island. You can take a zip line back too to the main road, however this option was unavailable when we went so we asked back via a slippy, rocky path back to the beach and then to the main road. It’s actually a very nice and scenic experience as long as the tide is low and you don’t have to track through water.
Bearing all that in mind, it’s such a fun things to do, the zip line is actually quite long and you for sure get your moneys worth, going over the beautiful reef with an incredible view of the ocean, islands and beach. We actually took it in cloudy and rainy conditions and it was still amazing, if you have a clear day and don’t fancy spending 2k on another boat tour, do it and then hang out on the beach afterwards with all the beach-side resorts there having awesome fish food and loungers.
NOTE: They take a 1hr lunch 12pm-1pm so make sure the laters you get there sis 11am as there will be a queue of people from early morning.

Brilliant zip line we were staying at The Perch which is right next to the zip line so no trecking for us. We did the 2 way so much fun and again you don’t have to treck. We also paid extra for the drone well worth the money lovely little video. Only thing I wouldn’t recommend is paying for the photos at the opposite end they were over exposed and really not good but still really enjoyed our experience overall so 5 stars from us!

The views were amazing. Experience was awesome as a whole. However, we booked the two way and were told at the door that there was no availability for two way even though that was the package we reserved. We were not prepared to walk the sand bar back to the mainland and ended up all having wet shoes which is a pain when you are traveling. They were nice enough to offer a partial refund but don’t offer a 430pm two way zip line if it isn’t available!

DO NOT BOOK THIS. Absolutely terrible experience. I made a 4:30 booking and showed up at 4:15 and was told they were full and could not accommodate me. Why offer online bookings if you don’t even keep them. Wasted money getting a taxi there for nothing. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

We booked in advance because we would get a time slot. At the zip line we had to wait for over an hour just like everyone who bought a cheap ticket there. So we paid too much for no benefit at all. Also there was only one way for which we only got a little refund (not half of what we paid). Would really like a partial refund from Tripadvisor.
Zip line experience was great. Paid extra for drone video which we received the same day.
Had to walk on a sand bank back, got wet to the waist.

Really nice view and the zipline was long. What could’ve been done better by the zipline facilitators is to find a way to perhaps clean and disinfects their helmets and safety belts. The smell really latches onto your clothes. The prices are reasonable but not recommended for folks who has heart and climbing issues. You have hike for like 15 minutes or so to get to the zipline area. Their staff are nice and takes photos with a small fee using their own camera.
