There was no one to meet us at the airport. After waiting some time afriendly guy called the firm and told us to wait, first 20 minutes, then some more. After an hour the same guy said we would be transported outside the airport for the transfer to El Nido. There we were directed to a shabby, wornout van, nothing like the pictures on the website. It was not a Diskubre van. We were told this is all that was available. The driver was nice, nothing against him. Diskubre was unreliable, cannot recommend.

We scheduled a van from Puerto Princesa to El Nido with this company, and it was a terrible experience. They lacked commitment to their schedule and didn’t explain the departure delay, which was over an hour. There was no space for our baggage, and the van was completely uncomfortable for a five-hour journey. If you have the option, please choose another way to travel from Puerto Princesa to El Nido. I am really disappointed with my choice.

I almost canceled it because I read reviews on different companies that Drivers drive crazy fast and I'm glad I didn't cancel on this one because Ariel our driver was an excellent driver. Their lines are always available. They always reassured me the transfers and pickups of our Van. Our flight has been delayed but they're still on top of our tour. 5/5 for the drivers that drove us from and to Puerto Princesa. This 1 out of 5 stars is for the company because the way everything was handled was TERRIBLE and risked us missing our flights. Terrible experience Terrible customer service Terrible communication Pro tip: book with another company! Our arrival to Puerto Princesa changed an hour early so we emailed the company more than a week before our arrival to inform about the change in pickup time from 9am to 7am. We received an email from the employee that our message was received and that she informed the company. We waited over 1hr 30mins in the scorching heat and thought we got scammed because NO ONE pick up the phone but waited until our original pickup time for the benefit of doubt. The reason for the delay was that the driver already arrived but couldn’t get through the gates due to lack of permit?? Poor driver ended up having to park the van outside the gate and walked to come grab us but that still doesn’t excuse the 1hr 30mins delay. As we got to the hotel, we reminded him about our pick up time back to Puerto Princesa from 11am to 10am after seeing that they were late. This information about 10am pickup was already received and confirmed by the company. We checked out early at 10am and waited in the hotel lobby. And guess what? We didn’t get picked up until 12pm :) and risked missing our flight back to MNL. This whole thing would’ve been much smoother if the company was transparent and communicative with us. We thought we got scammed because not ONE employee pickup the phone or respond to the viber messages in timely manner. We called the number that was given to us from 3 different phones and email. Please update a way for your future customers to be able to reach out to you so that they don’t end up stranded :) !! It’s what we paid for.

In my opinion, if traveling from Puerto Princesa to El Nido, booking a private transfer is a must. It’s a long drive, 4-5 hours over bumpy twisty roads. Vans offer little to no leg room, so having to share with 10 other people is not ideal. Shared vans can add up to 2 additional hours due to numerous pit stops and waiting times. One thing to note is the driver does stop to eat lunch for an about 20 minutes while you wait… so keep that in mind if you’re on a time crunch. Lastly, you can book private transfers for considerably cheaper through your hotel front desk. Drivers and vans are plentiful, no need to pay a much higher price and book in advance.

Used Gilbert for airport to El Nido transfer, everything was on time and smooth as expected. More importantly we really didn’t have a completed plan upon booking Gilbert. I inquired with him about private island hopping. Through him I booked two perfect days of private island hopping for just the two of us. It was perfect all around, great El Nido experience could not have expected more or better. Thank you Gilbert!!!

Gilbert arranged a private Island hopping tour for us in El Nido. We had a perfect day with really great staff. Nice team with secret spots. They give good advice when it's to busy at places to go to another place where it's more quiet. We had a really nice lunch. I would definitely recommend this company!

The pickup was on time, and the van is in excellent condition, neat and clean. The driver is very courteous. We had a smooth journey throughout our stay in Palawan. Highly recommended to have a hassle-free vacation.

So we paid $170 to be picked up at Puerto Princess airport and taken to hotel in El Nido. The company text me and asked for my flight number and hotel name. When we arrived we had to call as they were nowhere to be found. It was a 5 1/2 hour trip. We stopped a couple of times for bathroom breaks. Disgusting I would have been happier to go in the bush. Once we arrived in El Nido the driver told us he would be dropping us off in the center and we were to make our own way to the Hotel. Or we could pay him extra to take us. Who would be happy with this arrangement? Then when I complained to the company. They said it was in their small print, however they would wave it this time. They stated that trip Advisor takes 20% of the fee and they barley make any money anyway and as we were not paying the extra they wouldn't make anything.
