- 1El Nido is a Philippine municipality on Palawan island. It’s known for white-sand beaches, coral reefs and as the gateway to the Bacuit archipelago, a group of islands with steep karst cliffs. Miniloc Island is famed for the clear waters of its Small and Big lagoons. Nearby Shimizu Island has fish-filled waters. The area has many dive sites, including Dilumacad Island’s long tunnel leading to an underwater cavern.

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- M3127WCpaulag0 contributionsLoud but funHusband and I went by ourselves the first week of December. Well run, boats leaving regularly, easy to get ticketed. Food on the boat was delicious with many choices. Cultural dance stop was fun. The only problem was the on board music was too loud. It was hard to have a conversation with your cruise mates.Written December 4, 2024
- jadefS300NY0 contributionsTerribly organisedWe were meant to be picked up at 07:30- driver didn’t arrive until 08:30. There wasn’t any clear communication of what was happening. We got to the venue and the driver didn’t know who our tour operator was. In the tour description it said we would be provided with water which we didn’t receive. If we knew that, we would have brought our own. The description also states the entrance fees are included but when we got there we were asked to pay. I reiterated that the extortionate amount we paid for the tour already included the entry fees. The actual guide that swam with us to the reef was fantastic. He took plenty of videos and pictures for us- I cannot fault him. However, the way the entire thing was organised was haphazard and it wasn’t at all worth the amount we paid! I should’ve really waited until we got to Bohol and booked here instead of before we arrived here.Written November 22, 2024
- davero250 contributionsAMAZING EXPERIENCEWe didn't want to do the cruise during our country tour of Bohol but at the end we did it and it turned into an amazing experience! The ship is very nice and all the tour is super organized. The buffet style food and the service were excellent, the waiters and staff very kind. We also loved very much the entertainments. I really recommend it to everyone!Written November 15, 2024

- Naman0070 contributionsAwesome SardinesIt was a moment of a lifetime with thousands of sardines zipping past you in a terrific snorkeling area right next to the cliffs where you descend from...apart from sardines, other beautiful marine fishes such as Nemo too find their way there..Its a MUST SEE thing when you are visiting Bohol....better stay at one of the resorts by the cliff for a night to enjoy it even more.Written October 3, 2024
- Naman0070 contributionsAwesome Whale sharkWe went to Albuquerque in Bohol where we saw 3 Whale sharks hovering around our small canoe & it was a thrill of a lifetime....Huge fish swimming across in open ocean with startling speed to get the feed & was a heart stopping moment....loved it!Written October 3, 2024
- VivenN10 contributionsMoalboal white beach, Cebu is uglyMoalboal White Beach is the ugliest beach in the Philippines. Very dirty, the sand is like an ashtray full of cigarretes and all trash everywhere . It is deceiving in pictures but once you get there, people ask for Environmental fee, and the beach is so dirty. Don't ever go to this place. Foreign Vloggers fearure this beach but it's really ugly, filthy in reality. It was a mistake going there. Never again. The environmental fee was a such a scam. Not sure where the money goes, definitely not in cleaning the beach.Written August 18, 2024
- dianadJ3629JC0 contributionsNON REFUNDABLE despite saying trip can be canceledBuyers beware! When ordering, it says you can cancel a few days before the trip but they will NOT give you your money back. Such terrible false advertising. It should really say non refundable to be accurate. I feel cheated and they should warn about their no refund policy before they accept the order and take to your money.Written August 17, 2024

El Nido Tour D offered spectacular scenery at two lagoons. Please note that Kayak rental costs 300 pesos per lagoon, we paid 600 pesos in total.
The tour guide at CTPH tours was helpful and the boat captain and chefs prepared a very nice lunch.
However please heed this warning, Snorkel Rental is available from El Nido bay at a costs of 100 pesos per mask. We rented two masks and returned both washed and in great condition. Upon returning the masks, my partner and I were followed off the beach by the family of woman who headed up the rental stall. After several minutes, the husband in the group proceeded to argue with me and explain that my partner and I had broken a mask which was not true in the slightest (the woman even thanked us on return to the stall for the returning the masks and checked them). The woman then proceeded to ask us for 1000 pesos for the damaged mask, and insisted her English was not good enough to understand our insistence that the masks were returned in very good condition.
We had to become fairly aggressive in order to stop the family from hounding my partner and I for my money. The husband then retired from the claim and eventually we were left alone, it was not a very nice experience. So please take this a caveat when renting masks!
