About
Who are the Filipinos? Learn and understand the locals while walking, eating, and exploring Manila, the Philippines' metropolis. Once known as the "Pearl of the Orient", this city is rapidly changing. Ride a ferry (subject to availability) going to the one of the most busiest streets of Manila- Quiapo. Visit Quiapo Market and Binondo’s Chinatown and see how the new emerges between the old, in all areas of life. As it’s architecture, Manila's street food is a showcase of the city’s different visitors throughout history. That history is best visible at the old city of Intramuros. Strolling through the small streets might feel like traveling back in time. This area suffered heavy damage during World War Two, but the Filipinos' hospitality and smile remains one that cannot be destroyed.

- Oeliram0 contributionsGreat Intramuros Free TourThe Intramuros Free Tour in Manila with Nina as our tour guide was informative and interesting. During this short tour Nina took us to different landmarks as well as to the local market and pointed out local foods and habits. We ended with a skyview of Manila at the Bayleaf hotel. Thank you Nina!Written May 21, 2024
- AliObz0 contributionsAn amazing activity!Such an amazing activity! My tour guides were Jay Z and Faith and they were really nice. I think they had just finished their tour guide training, but they did a good job and really took care of the group. We took a “trolley” ride which lasted about 20/30 minutes where Jay Z and faith gave us buko pie and some liquor (forgot the name, but it was nice and strong haha). The main event, which was the boat ride to Pagsanjan Falls, was just amazing and the boat men did a great job as they have to row against the stream and use their own strengths to pull the boats up and down through the rocks. It is recommended that you tip them PHP 250 each and I attest that they deserve it. The ride itself through the mountain was so calming and relaxing. At the falls, you are pulled through the waterfall on a bamboo boat and you can do a bit of swimming. I felt completely safe throughout. My one and only gripe is when it came to lunch. The choices were beef, chicken and pork. I chose the chicken. What they didn’t tell me was that there were two types of chicken to choose from: chicken breast or chicken leg. If I had known, I would have chosen the chicken leg. The guides told the waiter to give me the chicken breast and I didn’t like it because it was sooo dry, so I asked the waiter to swap it to the leg. At the end of lunch, I was given a bill for the leg because it was seen as extra (LOL). I am not sure if the “fault” was with Jay Z/Faith or the restaurant, but I recommend asking them to clarify what the exact lunch options are before confirming. Overall, this is definitely a tour you do not want to miss.Written April 20, 2024

- mackenziemJ7796WH0 contributions4-day tour of Sagada and BanaueThe four-day tour to Sagada and Banaue offered by Abraham Tours had high reviews when I found it online, but after experiencing it for myself, I must sing its praises. My phenomenal experience in Sagada and Banaue is largely thanks to my tour guide, Zohan. His attention to detail, intentional diversions to the itinerary to accommodate group interests, and open sharing of his culture was something I will not forget. While this trip is open to all ages, I would recommend for those ages 18-50 or so. This is due to the physical demand of the trip, which includes two overnight buses, hiking, walking to attractions, and carrying of luggage to multiple places. If you are open-minded and eager to learn about Indigenous culture and peoples of the Philippines, this trip is a must. Thanks, Zohan!Written February 16, 2024
- Kathleen V0 contributionsWorth it!This trip was wonderful, Paul was very informative about the Philippines. It was a very small group and showed us the country outside Manila. The boat trip to the waterfalls was beautiful, and the boatmen were very impressive paddling upstream. Well worth the trip!Written February 4, 2024
- genal2670 contributionsPamilacan Island PhilippinesThe „Call it Paradise - Pamilacan Island Day Tour“ is probably the best thing you can do in Bohol! We took the boat just in a small group. The stuff was always very polite and attentive! We saw dolphins, turtles, a lot of colourful fishes and corals! After the snorkeling you will have an authentic tour to the island. You will see how the locals life, you will explore secret and lost beaches and you can buy little selfmade souvenirs. But the best: Philippines food and a fresh coconut inclusive! Wow! We are still speechless. Thanks Abraham Bohol! 😍🙏Written January 25, 2024
- René P0 contributionsA great day to spend...Where shall I start: 1. Everything goes through the Tourist Office. First check the price list (see in picture) what you want than go to the first station to register and pay...than to tourist guide station...than to boat...so it takes about 1hour before you go..ok! Also you only visit about 5 - 7 island and you can book some activities. Bring enough water with you also sunscreen and hat! It was a great trip but avoid weekend or holidays🤪🥺Liz & Rene from Switzerland 🇨🇭 at IG: @renepeter57Written January 9, 2024

- arlened8700 contributionsUnforgettable experienceSo impressed at the whole experience with Abraham tours. It made me feel at ease as a solo traveller. From the initial encounter with the tour coordinator to our excellent guide Mark in Sagada, it was carefully organized. Mark was so knowledgeable and patient. I felt safe with him the whole time. Sagada is a beautiful place and awe inspiring. Picture perfect. I will bring home wonderful memories of the place. Thanks to Abraham tours for making my trip a trip of a lifetime!Written November 27, 2023
- isamubo0 contributionsJust do it!I was hesitant to book at first because of the early start of the tour, but it was completely worth it! If you are looking for a day trip out of Manila filled with nature and some adventure, this is an excellent option! The pick up in Manila and the ride there is very smooth and comfortable. Once there, the guides are very helpful to get everything ready to go for the hike. The 4x4 ride and the hike are beautiful! It makes everything worth it. The hike is not difficult, but it does take some time (around 2.5 hrs up). I highly recommend wearing waterproof shoes or sandals instead of sneakers, as there are a lot of rivers to cross and your shoes will get wet! Overall, awesome experience that I assure you won't regret.Written October 8, 2023
- Pioneer6980270 contributionsMemories That Will Live OnMy friend and I had an amazing day. The journey to the falls was amazing, we stopped along the way to interact with the locals and experience taking their local mode of transportation, which was a trolley ride. At the end of the ride, we got this amazing coconut pie and ate this mystery fruit. The canoe ride to the fall was another wonderful experience. Being surrounded by nature and its beauty is an experience I won't forget. To top it off, we were able to eat some local cuisine to conclude the tour. The tour guides were absolutely amazing as well.Written October 3, 2023
- Roving554272431660 contributions[Highly recommended] Pagasanjan Waterfall - Upstream CanoeingHighly recommended! Pagasanjan Waterfall - Upstream Canoeing Although the journey is a bit long, Pagasanjan is truly a destination worth visiting during a trip to Manila. Before reaching the waterfall, we stoped in a small town. There, you can experience the local transportation on historic railway tracks, manually operated by locals. On a day with great weather, we indulged in Buko Pie (Coconut Pie) and even had some locally brewed alcohol at the endpoint. Next, an upstream journey on a bangka (outrigger canoe) awaits. Going against the current amidst the jungle mountains and strong waters, the skill and diligence of the boatmen are truly commendable. Finally, we arrive at the waterfall!!! *Remember to wear your swimwear and experience the waterfall pour before entering the Devil's Cave! We took a Tricycle to a nearby distinctive Filipino-Mexican restaurant for a delicious lunch. The round-trip transportation was fortunate to have comfortable travel vehicles, and both the driver and guide were enthusiastic, taking care of everyone. This is also a significant reason why this journey left us extremely satisfied :).Written August 31, 2023

This is a fantastic tour to do. If you have Miguelita and Dana as your guides, it’s even better!
Unfortunately I couldn’t ride on the ferry as it was closed for the national holiday so we ended up getting a taxi to Quiapo. That was the only downside (if you can even call it that).
You will learn a lot on the city tour (fun fact: Binondo is the oldest Chinatown in the world) and see a few beautiful churches. After the city tour, we rode a jeepney to Intramuros which was another great part of the tour and it sparked great discussion amongst the group.
I have to praise Miguelita and Dana again because they were so attentive and patient with the group.

We were in Manilla only for a few days, and thus tour caught my attention. It's a jam packed day, but neither do you feel rushed or a trip to tick off the boxes. You get to spend ample time at each place and meet the locals, our guide mark despite one review on here giving a 1 star was absolutely amazing. Friendly, clear on what the plan is, and you can clearly see he has a passion for Phillipine history and involving the locals. Honestly this is the best tour I've been on in all of South East Asia period. Even at the end when time was limited he offered to stay on and do one more stop if we wanted to, however the line at this stop was very long so we as a group were happy to call it a day. Not only do you see a volcano, you meet lots of cool locals, some grest history in old manilla and honestly again the tour guide mark absolutely made the whole trip worth it. If you want an in depth day, and get a true understanding of Philippine culture, this is a must do tour. On top of top of all this Mark will provide with you meny recommendations and tips for the rest of your Philippine trip. If I could hire him and his driver Jay for the whole time I would.

WOW. This tour packs a lot into one day and it is so informative. Our tour guide Jen was amazing, it felt like she had interesting tidbits of knowledge to share with us every few minutes or so. Not only did we learn a lot, but we also ate A LOT. Like, A LOT. Jen was also able to recommend good places for us to go later on and how to get there. 15/10 would recommend. Really, really well done.

We took this tour to explore Manila. In 7 hours we traveled with a boat, tricycle, car and bike. We saw many highlights of Manila and tasted all kind of food and fruits. We did this all with our tour guide Mary Jen. She was very knowledgeable. She could tell us all about the history of Manilla, about the food and many other stuff. We really liked the tour and we would recommend it to everyone!

Good and informative tour of Manila. Different neighborhoods and sites like Intramerous. Really left with good feel for the city. Fernando tour guide excellent. Only minor recommendation start tour at 9 not 830. We spent an hour waiting for initial ferry ride. But that was minor thing.

Had a great time eating and exploring with Autie Jen! Thankfully some of the crew went ahead of us to stand in line and get the food and table for us. They had the right connections to the local people and restaurants. Highly recommended. Just be prepped for the heat. 😅

Hello. We appreciate your feedback as this is important to us. I would like to apologize for what happened in regards to the situation with the bamboo bike ride. We used to cooperate with the bike operator for over a year with no problems so far but unexpectedly, there was a last minute change in terms of the use of the local bike so we looked for an alternative which is riding an e-tricycle. I believe this was discussed with the participants before the tour has started so they are well informed about the changes. As for the transportation, as indicated in the website, one of the inclusions in the package is the drop off at Abraham Manila which is the meet up point as well. There were a request for a drop off to a different location and we sincerely apologize that we wasn't able to accommodate the request. I hope everything is clear now. Again, we thank you for joining us with the tour! :)
