Worst travel experience in my life.
Got left alone on island before a monsoon came in. Worst travel experience in my life. Came from Cebu and went to Bohol. Whoever was running, the trip should’ve looked at the weather forecast and prevented me from Island hopping for this trip.

    Nature lovers..!
If you are nature lover this is the perfect place for you for a day. Hot spring from the mountains so the water so nice when you get to the swimming pool , they have a big lockers for your things and a a big food hall with a buffet style with mainly Filipino foods. They serve lunch at 11:30am to 1:30 pm snack At 3pm to 5pm . Try the local black coffee with brown sugar and taste so good. They have tourist Police that you can see around to help and protect you from any situation. Price is general and it’s worth because of the huge location and so many different kinds of trees and beautiful flowers. This place is highly recommend because of their beautiful place and best for team building, family, couples and with kids

Do go only during non-peak hours
You need to take a boat ride from sabang beach (you will get wet getting up and down the boat) to the underground river beach front. At the mouth of the cave, you get into smaller paddle boat for 4-8 pax and your 30-40mins began. It's very dark inside and you can only see where the paddler shine his touchlight. It doesn't have the colours of nature, just dark caves and rocks formation. Aim to reach sabang beach by 9am to avoid the crowd of tourist. When I leave at 10am after the tour, I can see many boats entering the caves, meaning you will see a lot of flashlight shining everywhere.

    Interesting but Pricey
Troy was a really nice and informative tour guide! The tour was a good way to see Tagaytay but you only get to see Taal from the People's Park in Sky. I think the tour is overpriced for what you get. Also it would have been nice to go to a unique restaurant for lunch instead of just Max's, which we have in Canada too.

A showcase of the life of Tagalogs
I have been here three (3) times already, and the most recent one was before the pandemic. I indicated that I went to the place in January 2022, just to comply with the requirements of the review. Nevertheless, I can still feel the excitement and anticipation of being inside the resort whenever I am preparing for a trip to Villa Escudero. First, the various WWII mementos on the ground near the place where the carabao cart pickup is always a delight for visitors. Second, the religious items collected by the owners of the place is a flashback of our religious history and a testament to our endearing faith to the Roman Catholic Church. Third, the luncheon by the waterfalls is unique and can only be done inside the resort. Moreover, the food itself is an added value to the trip. Visiting the place with the whole family is recommended, it will give the family members to bond while appreciating the life of our ancestors.

    Great tour and service!
The tour was great and perfect for a day trip. Nori, our guide, was well versed, spoke multiple languages, and was truly a pleasure to listen to. Nori catered the trip to our needs and the current “climate”. It was a quiet day considering the Filipino election so we were able to see more than expected. Some places were closed due to the pandemic, but Nori still lets us take pics and such. There was enough free time at the various stops to take pics, where Nori would offer to take family pics. Transportation was more than adequate and our driver was very good. They all were very accommodating and I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to see Taal, Tagaytay, and the highlights of Manila.

    Great trip!
It was a great trip! Very nice views. Very knowledgeable guide who told us a lot about the Philippines and its history and information about Manila and Taal Vulcano. Comfortable travell. The lunch was good with a lovely view over Taal volcano island.

The tour was great, highly recommend if you have half a day free in Manila! I was a solo booking and was picked up safety directly from my hotel in a very nice air conditioned mini bus, we then went on to pick up the other booking. The driver and tour guide were very friendly and informative. It was interesting to learn about the history of Manila and stop off at various cultural hot spots. Due to the storm the previous day there was 1 stop closed unexpectedly, so instead we were offered to see China Town (oldest in the world) to make up for it.

Great tour if you have limited time in Manila. Our guide Frank was terrific and had a great knowledge of the city and it's rich history and welcomed any questions as we travelled in out air-conditioned mini van in the typically chaotic Manila traffic.

Highlights were Forbes park, US War memorial, Rizal park & Fort Santiago.

A couple of us older guys received a very good orientation tour of Manila. Both the driver and our guide, Richard, were excellent as well as punctual. We stopped at the American cemetery, drove through BGC, passed by the Mall of Asia, Rizal Park and many other locations. We received a running commentary on neighborhoods, places and historical events.

The tour included a bit of walking through Intramuros despite an ongoing deluge. We visited several churches and monuments as well as a museum.

Both the guide and the driver were very flexible and adjusted the tour meet our interests and the changing weather. It was great overview of the city and gave me an idea of where I may want to spend more time exploring.

An interesting and worthwhile way to spend our Saturday morning.

This was a great tour, very informative and the tour guide was excellent. Yes, it felt a little rushed, however I do expect that on these short tours which are more of a taster. I do wish we had more time at Fort Santiago to explore 'solo'. There was just so much to see and I would have loved the opportunity to wander on my own for a little bit. The reason this review is 3 stars is that on our tour we did not visit San Agustin Church. I understand the traffic was shocking on a Saturday afternoon, however, I was sitting in the van fully expecting to go there, when the next minute I am back at my hotel with no warning or checking if it was okay to skip this part. I was bitterly disappointed as this was my only free day in Manila and there was no opportunity for me to visit on my own. Would suggest you market this tour as 4-5 hours to allow for the traffic situation and to avoid disappointment. Nevertheless, what I did see was excellent & I found it very informative.

While the guide was informative and interesting, the tour was more driving around in Manila’s traffic jams than stopping at the sites. We couldn’t stop at Rizal Park (not sure why) and both old churches in the Intramuros were fully occupied with weddings, so we’re unavailable to tour.

The American WW2 cemetery was moving and Fort Santiago was good, but most other things were just viewed from the van.

My colleagues and I had just one afternoon of free time to explore Manila during a weeklong work trip and we are so glad we spent it doing this tour. Our guide, Troy, was friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable, truly a walking encyclopedia on the history, culture and politics of the country. I wish we had had more time in each location and perhaps an opportunity to grab a snack or drink; but we had arrived late to our meetup spot due to traffic and congestion in Manila is generally very intense so I understand why that probably wouldn't have been possible regardless.

Ignore the previous review from Annette who claims that solo travelers are “not allowed” because I was a “solo” yesterday, August 1, 2022 and had no problems. In fact, the tour guide was very sweet, capable and flexible to my needs as well as the other tour guests! He knew the history of Intramuros and the famous Rizal, the father of the Philippine revolution. The driver was excellent and the van was clean and in good order.

Nice tour including both old and new Manila. The bus was not the best for tall people to actually see through the windows to follow the guides stories. Very knowledgeable guide who shared lots of history. I think the two churches could be replaced with other historical monuments or buildings. European are not as keen as Asians to see churches. Memorial park was a great stop.

I particularly like the tour because I can get picked up in my hotel as it is in Makati area. I also like the places that I went to. Anyone interested in history will have it here covered. I would've loved spending a little bit of time in the San Agustin church area, but it was no problem. Totally understand the limit of the time (4hours). The bus we rode in was also very nice.
I recommend this tour to anybody wanting to get to know the remarkable history of the Filipinos.

Lovely tour, the guide was very informative and fun. Saw alot of interesting sites: WW2 memorial, Jose Rizal monument and memorial, and saw many sights in the old walled city. Ended the tour at a great gift shop. Even though its already a 4 hour tour, I only wish I could’ve spent more time at each location, every spot was so interesting. A great way to spend a morning or afternoon.
