Dear 2019sk Thank you for your review of our Aristocat Evening Cruise program recently. Following your frank feedback (& our resulting investigation), we’d like to reply as follows: 1. A welcome drink, a floral lei, and canapés, before stepping on board-FALSE-NO canapes, NO drinks, only the floral lei was received before boarding. Our reply: The welcome drinks and canapés are served as the guests board the vessel, we will immediately change this and serve it in the garden again. We do however serve a welcome drink and canapés on every Evening Cruise. 2.Enjoy a tropical 5-course dinner - 5 course yes, COLD & MEDIOCRE food and no choice of options, no vegetarian options. A SET MENU. You HAVE to eat what is on the menu. NO CHOICE. Our reply: The style of our menu is explained and all the dishes are served at room temperature except for the soup. We are now introducing three menu options for our Evening Cruise eg regular, regular vegetarian and Indian vegetarian where our reception will reconfirm to our guests of what menu they would like to have when the booking is made. In fact just last night we launched our Indian Vegetarian menu, we had 4 Indians, 2 Koreans, 2 Australians and 3 Russians as guests, we served 7 regular and 4 Indian vegetarian menus and we received excellent comments on our feedback forms. 3.Strewn with twinkling lights- FALSE, no such lights Our reply: We do acknowledge and are sorry that our fairly lights were not operational that evening - we will be replacing these lights immediately. 4. as you sail towards Nusa Dua - ABSOLUTELY FALSE- the cruise did not cruise far from where we boarded which is Benoa Bay. This cruise never makes it to the NUSA DUA or the sea or ANY open space. You are constantly surrounded by FRIGHT SHIPS. There is NO GOOD view. It keeps going around in circles with the views of the FRIGHT SHIPS in darkeness! 5. Memorable evening as you watch the sun Set- WHAT SUN SET?? The SUN SET was at 6:30PM the cruise starts at 7PM and it is in absolute DARKNESS! Our reply: Please kindly find the below extracts from our website, you do not experience a sunset on our Aristocat Evening Cruise because our departure is at 7pm. We do however leave the harbour when sea & weather conditions are favorable. “our Aristocat Evening Cruise promises a truly memorable evening of cruising on the balmy waters of South Bali.” – from our website. We offer two types of Evening Cruises 1. Sunset Dinner Cruise with Bali Hai II vessel, departs at 5.45pm where our guests do experience the Sunset. 2. Aristocat evening cruise - It is not possible to have Sunset experience & we do not advertise a sunset as the departure of the cruise is at 7pm. After nearly 30 years of operation, we pride ourselves on delivering what we advertise however we do value your comments we hope the above explanation clarifies your concerns.
