The tour was awesome and I definitely recommend it! Our guide Ahmed Mustafa was very enthusiastic, had great knowledge and spoke Englsih fluently. The company showed great flexibility since we first only booked the East bank tour and then figured that the West bank is also something we have to see. Ahmed arranged with the company that our tour lasts longer to a fair price of additional 45 dollars. It was totally worth it and we saw all the highlights of Luxor.

Khalid Saady was an amazing Egyptologist guide for this private jam-packed full day tour of all the main spots in Luxor. He was right on time to pick us up from the hotel at the time we selected and began right away with providing information and overviews of Luxor history. You could immediately sense just how passionate he is about Egyptian history, it was infectious in the best way! I also appreciated that he took a unique feminist approach to the Egyptian history he was discussing with us. Khalid was knowledgeable and always willing to answer our many questions. He would start the tours with an overview, but then was very flexible with us, allowing us to spend nearly as much or as little time as we wanted roaming around the sites independently.
Of course, you swing by an alabaster shop where they tell you about the stones used to build/carve by Egyptians and allow an opportunity to purchase. Truthfully, it felt like a pretty forced experience, but I understand why they have these sorts of relationships with shops and arrange to bring their tourists there. Also, there’s a prearranged “optional” (not really optional… lol) lunch at a certain resturant which was somewhat pricey at $25 usd for 2 people and we didn’t have the ability to choose what was ordered.
Deducting one star only because since it was a private tour, I wish we had the option at the beginning to shape the day a little more to our liking (ex. choose order of sites we visited, what lunch we wanted, stop or not stop at the alabaster store, etc.)
All in all, I would do this tour with Khalid again in a heartbeat! Perfect tour for a full day of all the main sites of Luxor!

I Wonderful opportunity to meet Mohammed Adele who was my guide. Adele studied Egyptology and it was very apparent throughout the full day tour. We started the tour on the West Bank which was best to beat all the other tourist. Adele explained all of the history and hieroglyphics and meaning of the temples. He is also a very great photographer and doesn’t mind taking photos at all. He took me to a shop on the west bank before we got to the east bank of Luxor. We went to see all of the temples in Luxor and he went through the Chronicle logic history of the kings and queens of the time. I learned so much throughout the entire day. I highly recommend booking a tour with Adele it definitely is worth the full price and more. The only downfall is the tickets for the sites in Luxor is not included so expect to spend about 1000 Egyptian pounds for tickets throughout the day. Just make sure you bring enough cash. Adele also bought me tons of snacks water throughout the day and made sure I was enjoying every minute of it. At the end of the tour he even stopped to buy me a Gyptian sweets and cake after I told him I was a baker. I can’t say enough About this amazing tour. When I return to Egypt I definitely will Make sure I use Adele as my guide again!

Lovely experience in Luxor. Definitely recommend staying two nights, one for relaxing by the Nile and another to do this tour. Decided on doing the 7am tour to get some of the sights to myself and was able to have the Temple of Hatshepsut mostly empty of tourists. Lunch was at a restaurant along the Nile and it was a buffet option; the drinks were extra. The tour included a stop at an alabaster shop. The tour ended around 4pm and by then I was exhausted, but in a good way. Fátima was my guide, she was super sweet and knowledgeable.

I had a good time in Luxor with my guide Sam and my driver Hamad. My tour started with the West Bank in the morning. Before entering the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut, Sam gave me a very detailed explanation of the history and the things that I would be expected to see. Then I was given some time to explore the sites at my own pace, as tour guides were not allowed to explain inside the sites. Sam's explanation really helped me to appreciate the details and understand the stories behind the wall murals, carvings and sculptures. We also visited the Medinet Habu Temple (additional charge required). Medinet Habu Temple does not have the tour guide restriction so Sam could accompany me into the temple and point out all the interesting parts of the temple. I strongly recommend paying extra to visit the Medinet Habu Temple as it is less crowded than the Valley of the Kings and Temple of Hatshepsut, and the wall and pillar carvings are amazing. Then, we made a brief stop at the Colossi of Memnon, before going over to the East Bank. To save time, Sam and I took a ferry across the Nile, directly to Luxor Temple, while our driver Hamad took his time to drive over via the bridge. After visiting Luxor Temple, we went to a nice restaurant for lunch. Then we went to Karnak Temple, our last stop. Sam accompanied me into both Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple and provided lots of interesting information about the temples. After the visit, Sam and Hamad brought me back to my hotel. I really enjoy the tour and I am happy to be able to visit the most important sites in Luxor in one day. I appreciate that I was provided with drinks and snacks, and I was not brought to any shops for "forced shopping". I definitely recommend Emo Tours in Luxor.

Fantastic day! Step by step we were transported trough ancient Egyptian history by our knowledgeable guide Mustafa. We definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an extremely knowledgeable and patient guide. Mustafa explained in great detail amazing facts about the Valley of the Kings, Karnak and Luxor Temples.
We had a group of 10 that Mustafa handled seamlessly. He got us to all of our tour sites and adjusted on the fly when we stayed at a particular site longer than anticipated.
He made sure that we were all comfortable during the tour and even assisted in negotiating fair prices for items we bought from vendors.
Highly recommended!!
Thanks Mustafa!!

I highly recommend this tour. Moustafa was very knowledgeable, he knew every small and large detail at each location. He really brought the Egyptian history to life by pointing things out and answered all our questions. He was very attentive to all our needs and interests.
Bonus, he knew all of the great spots to take pictures and he was so kind to take pictures of me and my wife.
This tour is definitely worth it. You get to see all of the main highlights of Luxor. Lunch is tasty. You will learn a lot and get great pictures to remember this wonderful experience.

Let’s just start by saying that this was the absolute BEST day of our 10-day Egypt trip. Our tour guide Angie was incredible! She was SO knowledgeable and she’s such an amazing storyteller! She took us to the best highlights of Luxor and we were just so amazed at the incredible history this place has. I even felt emotional at some of the temples! We were blown away by Angie’s professionalism and she made us feels so safe and comfortable the entire time. We really couldn’t thank her enough. If you’re still looking for a tour please stop and book this one — I promise you will not regret it.
Thanks again, Angie, for making our day SO perfect. I’ll be recommending you to all my friends and family as the best guide in Luxor!
Best wishes!

My partner and I decided to book this trip the night before doing it. I can say it was an amazing decision! Let me start off by talking about the person who made it amazing, Mahmoud Nafee. His English was incredible and we were able to understand everything he was saying without an issue. The trip started with him waiting for him at our lobby before our expected pick up. Being on time is super appreciated since it can get hot here in Luxor. He greeted us with a smile and the adventure began. On our way to The Valley of the kings he started giving us information on Luxor and Egypt altogether. He is a man that knows his stuff and is happy to share it. Everywhere we went he was super attentive and asking us if we had questions, needed water, and basically making sure we were fine the whole time. I can say that this trip is worth every dollar and Mahmoud is an incredible guide and person. Don’t miss out on his knowledge ☺️

I found by chance this tour as most listings I saw were for one day just on the side of Luxor. I was excited to see the option as I only had a short 5 day total for my Egypt trip. Emo reaches out in advance to see if I had any questions about the itinerary or special requests. The drivers and guides were promptly on time and were great with trying to give me a locals view of everything including the short trips to the airport. The door to door service and treatment was above all expectations. My guide for the first day Shereen was waiting for me at the arrivals and sent me a message right when the plane landed to let me know she was there and waiting. Review of the sites and some onsite of spots we were passing by was great. I was also told about a marathon that was taking place that day making it an even more unique visit. The valley of the Kong’s was magical. Was excited about the extra places I could check if I wanted based on my interests. I was impressed with all the extra information and things I should keep an eye out for to make my visit extra special. For the end of day one I was amazed to find out the agency was. Having someone stay with me while I waited for my evening train to Aswan I felt like a VIP. This was after allowing me by request to stay at Luxor temple longer to take it all in as I had a little extra time prior to the train trip. Arriving in Aswan they took the long way to the hotel to show me the area a little. Check-in at the hotel was handled for me, didn’t have to do a thing! In the morning the guide and driver were prompt as communicated the day before and got to see the sunrises noir way to Abu Simbel. Both guides helped with pictures as I was traveling solo as selfies don’t always suffice. When we went to Philae temple we had a chance to have some coffee and was introduced to some locals my guide knew, what a great chat. At one point as we were going through the temple there was a couple so impressed by the passion and detailed explanation of the wall art they said “we should of had this guy for a guide”! The experience ended at a great restaurant overlooking the lake and introduced to some locals. Again with the flight back to Cairo it was a VIP experience all the way. I’ve already recommended them to my boss who’s looking to visit with her husband.

If we book without entrance fee, will we stay in the line for Tickets? And another question: if we Book with entrance fee, does it mean no waiting Time by entrance. Thank you!
The Program Looks interessting. Can we Book with Guide and entrance to tutanchamun Grave? two adults Two children 9 and 5 years old. Stefan

What’s the difference between this Luxor tour and the other ones that are slightly cheaper? I’m having difficulties in deciding which one to choose.

Good question. I’m not all too sure, I just went with the tour company that’s the most reputable on TripAdvisor. The tour guide I had said she works for many tour companies.
I’d rather go with a company that has a near perfect review on TripAdvisor and pay a bit more for peace of mind than take a gamble especially in Egypt.
Hi...is it possibile to go with you to Luxor since we are tourist frok Serbia?...we do not have Luxor as a offer from our agency-since we are from Serbia-we did not did PCR test and we don need visa for Egypt...is that a problem?...Maybe we need corona test or visa-that is something that we heard that is needed...We would like to book for 2 persons-just to chek with you if that is not a problem...we are allowed to enter luxor?...tnx for help😉
