Very nice tour. Our initial booking was a tiny bit rocky, but the tour operator communicated with us and everything was settled. Our tour guide Crystal was fantastic. She was personable, friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable about the sites we visited on the tour. We only booked the tour + the red suspension bridge, but due to some extra time, we were able to (we paid separately/independent from the tour) squeeze in a quick trip on the gondola!
Personally, my favorite part of the trip, was the observatory and the suspension bridge. The third tunnel was something that I'm glad I experienced, but would likely not do again. The photo area and sculptures outside are definitely worth seeing, and the story itself is fascinating; this is an incredible piece of history.
Just a heads up that this tour does seem to require at least a moderate level of physical ability. There are quite a few flights of stairs, steep inclines, and uneven footing. The walkway leading to and from the third tunnel is very steep, and quite lengthy -- I did see a tram available for an additional cost, but I'm unsure whether it was in service or not.
Overall, a successful tour, and something that I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to do. Whether you're here to visit, or on a visa and staying for awhile, highly recommend this tour. Oh, and lunch (₩12,000) at the village within the DMZ was delicious, and also a highlight.
Thanks to VIP TRAVEL, and again to our guide, Crystal. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had previously left a review praising the excellent skills of our tour guide. This review focuses on the actual tour itself.
Smooth Logistics
The pickup and drop-off went smoothly as planned. We opted for the gondola ride departing from Imjingak Pyeonghwa-Nuri Park, while the other tour participants explored the park with the guide. Unfortunately, we did not have time allotted to explore the park ourselves, but I believe there could have been time made available if the tour had not been shorter than the advertised 7.5 hours. We finished the tour in 6.5 hours.
Attractions Visited
We decided to skip the tunnel tour, as it would have been too physically taxing for us being close to 70 years old. However, there were plenty of other enjoyable attractions in the area. Our next stop was the Dora Observatory, which proved challenging due to the uphill walk required to reach it. It's worth noting that there is an elevator inside for those who find climbing many stairs difficult.
Met Expectations
Overall, most aspects of the tour met our expectations. Despite a few minor limitations, it was a worthwhile experience.

Very enjoyable tour with Moon. She kept us well informed throughout the day of the Itinerary and also shared some stories about life in South Korea with having family in the North. These were interesting to hear. We paid extra for the suspension bridge and gondola these were worth the extra expense.

I went with my friend on April 2nd (we're from US). Yuna, my tour guide, gave us interesting facts and was easy to follow along. She helped me pick out which ginseng to get and gave other souvenir tips. I left the DMZ broke (in a good way, you could say). There were excellent souvenir options for those looking to buy "one-of-a-kind" items. I got several wine options, a cute flat cap, a box of Korean traditional cookie, and a variety of chocolate bean giveaways. There were about 4 souvenir shopping opportunities throughout the tour.
The lunch buffet within the DMZ village cost 12,000 KRW and was scheduled halfway through the tour. The side dishes were delicious and abundantly fresh. Note that the meat of choice was pork, which I passed. My friend, however, commented that the pork was quite tasty with little fat felt at each bite. Even though I skipped on the meat, the vegetables were incredibly filling and the hearty (yet light) soup filled an unknowingly empty spot in my soul. The only downside was the limited time to eat which made me Kirby inhale all of it at once. I wish we had more time for eating and souvenir browsing (about a total of 35min was given) in the village. Yuna also mentioned that only this booking company has access to driving inside the village.
Oh, and the suspension bridge was a nice touch. It could be skipped or it could be seen. It's not my first bridge which made it "ok". For me, the bridge experience was enjoyable as I was in good company.
I'll add that the weather was pleasant, which peaked at 70deg—I only broke a sweat from wearing a long sleeve during the hike to the suspension bridge.

Had an amazing time for the DMZ Tour with our guide Yuna. We booked for DMZ + strawberry picking and since it wasn’t available, she provided us an upgrade to avail the gondola in DMZ as well as the suspension bridge.
I really enjoyed how Yuna explained the history of Korea (North and South); she was informative and very fluent in English with a comprehensible accent. She was also very clear with the time, and caring about people who went on the tour with her (she made sure the bus wasn’t hot for us).
As for the DMZ tour itself, it was a memorable one. Learning about the Korean War, going inside the DMZ, and experiencing the infiltration tunnel were remarkable. We also had lunch at a buffet that served decent food for only 12,000KRW.
Overall, a very good trip.

Yuna was an amazing guide. She was poised, knowledgeable, spoke perfect English, efficiently made sure the entire tour group reached each location in a timely manner (...but never made us feel rushed) and cracked a couple of excellent jokes!
Tips for future travellers:
- 3rd tunnel and red suspension bridge involve very steep inclines. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes, bring suncreen and water bottle. Mosquito repellent too if you’re easily bitten.
- Pick up at 06:30am in the morning can get very cold but the day warms up quickly. Bring a removable jumper or puffer jacket.
- Paju Gondola is worth it to see Gallery Greaves. Paid extra 8,000 KRW on the day of.

Team Nancy review: Nancy is a wonderful guide! She shares knowledge, history, and culture along the entire trip (I took DMZ tour). She energetically kept the group on time and together without losing anyone, giving alternative options for those who may have trouble along the route. Highly recommend Nancy!

Thank you Yuna for being a wonderful guide!
The itinerary was well explained, timings were tights but understandably due to 3 hour DMZ restriction.
Yuna was incredibly knowledgable and helpful with timings and I was able to go to the gondola last minute in the end - beautiful views and worthwhile thank you!
It is quite a trek/speedy, due to steep inclines of the tunnel and up towards the suspension bridge so just be forewarned some fitness is required. All in all, wonderful experience with very cool souvenirs only available in the DMZ. This tour lets us go through and view the DMZ village as well which was interesting. You also didn’t need to buy lunch - there’s an all you can eat buffet which was yummy, plenty of cafes and ice cream stops (and toilets too).
