Had great time sampling a variety of chicken and beer. We were only ones on tour with our guide Ron. Made for good conversation over more beer and chicken than we could eat. Definitely a great tour delivering on what was promised

An amazing night out! Excellent food, drink and company. The evening was hosted by Hannah. I went with my 20y old son and others we met in the group included 2 Kiwi sisters and 2 Aussies. We’d all booked the 3 stop tour; BBQ then fried food in the market then chicken in a pub. Go hungry as the beautiful food just keeps coming, and if you have your drinking hat on be prepared as the beer and Soju was flowing all night. After the tour ended and Hannah left, the 6 of us went on for a 4th stop until 2am. We were the only foreigners in all stops so we were certainly off the beaten track. Hannah was the perfect host, telling/showing us Korean food and drink customs, plus a few drinking games… A Seoul highlight for us.

On it's own, a fascinating tour through Seoul's hidden streets. Our tour guide Steve has a contagious enthusiasm for the location and for photography. Steve shared his wisdom on framing and using reflections to enhance our amatuer phone photographs and we had a blast. Highly recommend and if it happens to rain the night of your tour it is all the more reason to attend. Safely of course! High praise to Steve and Zenkimchi it was a wonderful night.

This is a must do! Joe was a wonderful guide. At first we were a little disappointed that we met someone who looked like an American as our guide. Yes, our group was American and Korean/American, but we really wanted the inside scoop on the food and culture. We quickly realized that Joe has the inside scoop and knows the language, the locals and the food scene. He has lived there for 19 years and Korea is really his home. We learned so much about the different foods and alcohol and had a ton of fun. It was educational, delicious and one of the highlights of our trip. I can't recommend this tour enough. I imagine the other guides are great too, but I am glad we got Joe.

Well what a great introduction to the food scene of Seoul. We were met by our guide Joe at the train station and he took us around as we tried great food! You will not go home hungry. I’d highly recommend this tour, you’ll get to learn about the cuisine, eating etiquette and culture. We did this tour the day after we arrived and it was a great way to start our trip. Thanks to our knowledgeable guide Joe for going above and beyond. You’ll not be disappointed on this tour.

Food Tour, you've got it! We had a total BLAST with Joe on this tour, he was so fun and brought us to some epicly delicious restaurants. We were hootin' and hollerin' all night, what a trip! The food, was absolutely delicious. From the amazing pork belly, to the tempura everything, to the fried chicken, we can't stop talking about our experience. Our family of 10 was so incredibly happy, we would do it all again if we could! Must go! Joe was the BEST!!

If you want to eat at a tourist restaurant with menus in English and poor food in a sterile environment then DO NOT DO THIS TOUR! If you want a real Korean Experience, with a superb English speaking guide who has lived in Korean for numerous years then sign up now. What a great night (even with jetlag). Hannah provided us with great insight into her experience living in South Korea, as well as a great BBQ chef, she really had us all engaged throughout the evening. I can't recommend it highly enough. Ron was a sympathetic and entertaining guide, food was also very tasty. We enjoyed ourselves a lot, had great conversations about culture, food and history. Be aware that this tour mainly consists of meat-dishes!

What a blast! Hannah was the hostess with the mostest, and took us to some awesome bbq, fried foot and fried chicken places. Lots of food, lots of drinks and lots of laughs! We also learned a lot about Korean culture, and doing this on my first day in Seoul was the perfect introduction to the city, highly recommend!

omg, what an amazing night. First of all, our guide (Hannah) was a fantastic host, fun to hang out with and gave us tons of interesting cultural tidbits about Korea. Every one of the three food stops was incredible. The port BBQ, the night market and the fried chicken place were all exceptional. I'd return to any one of them. Hannah made everyone feel so comfortable from the first moment we met. And the ever-flowing soju and beer helped too lol Highly recommended. So good that next time I'm in Seoul (hopefully in two months) I'll do this tour again!

we tried korean bbq mapo style for the 1st time and it was delicious! our great guide hannah explained the rules that you should follow with the drinking culture, so you don‘t mess up. second station with the makgeolli and delicious fritters was also great. and last but not least chicken and beer! YUM! happy belly, happy life😎 would recommend for everyone, who wants to start experience seoul with food and alcohol! especially when you‘re not sure if it suits you. it‘s best to come with the subway and on with an empty stomach.

I decided to book this tour because I was travelling alone and read that going out for fried chicken and beer is usually done as a group. I had a fantastic time! It felt more like I was going out with friends than being on a tour. We were a small group (4 total) and ate so much good chicken, several different types. I am not a big beer drinker but I ended up liking the beer as well. I would absolutely recommend this tour, it was one of the highlights of my trip.

We had a fantastic tour with Joe! Restaurant selection was educational, delicious, and tons of fun. This tour is a must do if you are interested in Seoul food tours. Joe is an outstanding host in a fascinating part of the city.

I had a fantastic time on this tour! Shawn was a great tour guide and had so much knowledge about the burial practices, folklore, and information about the area and Korea in general. I loved the stories and the great range of graves seen in age, size, and importance. It was hot our day and a bit of a hike, but Shawn made sure we were all good and made sure we had water and such before we left. You can really tell they worked hard on making this a great tour to add.

Fantastic tour! Prepare for a small hike, potentially through some over grown areas and some rocky/sandy inclines. Shawn is a wonderful storyteller and has no shortage of information! Definitely book this tour if you want to get out of the city, see some trees and learn about burial practices in Korea! Also highly recommend adding the chicken and beer to the end of your tour!
