Full-Day Vanuatu Round Island Tour from Port Vila
Circle the island of Vanuatu on a full-day tour that explores traditional island culture, the Blue Lagoon, local history, and island cuisine. Since the itinerary includes top Vanuatu highlights, it’s a great way to get your bearings after arrival or get a taste of island life in limited time, with the convenience of round-trip transport from your hotel or cruise ship in Port Vila.
What to Expect
After pickup in Port Vila or at the Wharf Road Pier, set out for the first experience of the day, a cultural performance in Iarofa Village: learn about traditional practices and skills, then see native dances and fire walking.

Next, head to the Blue Lagoon and Eton Village to swim in the naturally blue lagoon or off beautiful Eton Beach. When the village primary school is open, you can stop by to meet the students before the trip to Pangpang, whose ancient banyan trees extend vast canopies.

Enjoy a melanesian style buffet lunch to the sounds of live string band music in Beachcomber at Takara Lodge. Following the meal, continue to a WW2 site and Gideon’s Landing, once the base for Survivor: Vanuatu, where afternoon tea will be served before drop-off at your original departure point.

A group of 10 of us spent a fabulous day in Vanuatu facilitated by Jack, guided by Baptiste and driven by William. It is the best tour that my husband and I have experienced through the Pacific, and we have done a few across Polynesia...More

Some interesting and enjoyable aspects but could be improved.

We did the around island tour, which is probably best done at the start of your holiday as it's a great way to familiarise yourself with the various areas. Our driver Baptiste, and tour guide Steve were great and offered lots of information on the...More

Worth it for Steve and Baptiste

The tour itself is a little uneven and the morning is better than the long drawn out return leg. You get a visit to a fake village to see some real fire walking and a gigantic spider, and then on to a swim at the...More

The Atmosphere full day tour it's ok but after the native village tour it's quite boring I would suggest a 1/2 day trip going to the native village then going to a beach area

My understanding is the Tokka in Tanna is only announced a few days before the event, so you will need to be able to jump straight on a plane to attend. Sorry I have no other information!
