About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 945shahedm0 contributionsWorst ride everWorst ride EVER, it was a horrible horrible bus, noisy and tacky It’s showing obviously that this bus is in a very bad condition and in needs of repairs This is the laaaaaast time I will ever use Jett even if it’s the only way left I will choose not to travelWritten March 16, 2024
- notFredric0 contributionsJourney from Aqaba to AmmanThis was my first experience with JETT bus. They have a lot of schedule in different cities in Jordan so be mindful of the timings. The staff are helpful with my concerns. They speak English and communicated very well. I took a bus from Aqaba to Amman and it took a lot of hours. It was great journey with stopover for washroom and snacks.Written March 6, 2024
- oraibl0 contributionsJett trip aqaba to petraJet Transport Company is one of the best transportation companies. We recently took a bus from Aqaba to Petra, and it was much better than booking a driver. The staff were extremely polite and cooperative. I highly recommend Jet Transport to everyone; their commitment to punctuality and bus cleanliness is commendable. Special thanks to Mr. Raed Haddad, the Passenger Transport Department Director, for his professionalism and to Mr. Faraaj, a standout employee, for excellent service in internal travel and trips. Jet is truly the best company for transportation." Oraib al louzi عريب اللوزي Aqaba 22.2.2024Written January 21, 2024
- pjohnbd0 contributionsJETT Bus Jordan. Amman-Dead Sea-BewareAbsolute disgrace of a bus driver on Tuesday November 14th. Amman-Dead Sea - Amman from Abdali bus station. I've used Jett a few times without issues on other routes. Today however this bus driver was rude, abusive, threatening and trying to conn passengers out of extra money. It started with a stop 18km from the dead sea pitched as a photo opp. It was a hard aggressive and pushy sell to try and get people to buy a day pass for the Crowne Plaza through him (he keep saying it's not for him it's for us). After back on the bus he stared again and tried pitching the O Hotel Resort and Holiday Inn too. He at one stage used the phrase " you can't get off the bus without a pass for a hotel to one passenger" Myself I had contacted different hotels the day before, I decided on the Hilton Dead Sea Resort ( please see my review separately). I mentioned the issue with the driver and someone from reception and Hilton said if we needed the police he would help. Immediately after coming off the phone this bus driver started screaming at me and passengers and stating 'nobody can speak with each other'. As I called back to the Hilton with the intention to call the tourist police the bus was approaching the hotel. This despicable driver from JETT seems to have dodgy contacts at several hotels (beyond just taking a commission) and it 'appeared' outside the Holiday Inn that the driver and a hotel employee were demanding cash payment outside the hotel. So Hilton, amazing staff and support is there if needed. Re JETT I've drafted a detailed complaint in English and have a translation in Arabic with intention of presenting this upon arrival back in Amman (typing as I travel) raising this further with JETT also H.E.Mr Makram Mustafa A. QUEISI the current minister for tourism in Jordan. The ticket I bought with JETT was not a tour, purely transport. The driver also made an unscheduled stop at what I will refer to as a tourist junk souvenir shop in the hope of commissions. Well versed in such things from 'tours' elsewhere I didn't even leave the bus, again this was a transport purchase only.Written November 14, 2023
- H429MSmartinad0 contributionsCannot book - credit card not acceptedHello People from JETT, I would like to book trips from Amman to Petra in November, but you do not accept my credit card from Germany. I always get error messages 80800 Please help!Written October 23, 2023
- H6183GXjayh0 contributionsPoor customer service and horrible experienceWe were traveling from Jerusalem to Amman and paid for the VIP service. It cost $133 a person to be ferried over in a JETT car from the Israeli side to the Jordan side. The paperwork and coordination was a mess making us wait 15 minutes until the driver got what he needed to start the trip and then to find the car had no working AC!!!! This “luxurious “ experience was a complete fiasco and very uncomfortable. I would not recommend - stay far away .Written August 22, 2023
- lendasalem960 contributionsI don’t recommend bad service the worstThey don’t cooperate at all with any situation they work only for their own good Not for passengersWritten June 29, 2023
- johnoF769ZZ0 contributionsToo much time waiting aroundI took a taxi to Petra in June 2023 from Amman to get there early and explore. I decided to take the bus back that evening due to cost savings and it was an extremely long journey. We boarded the bus as requested at 4.30 and we didn't arrive to the Abdali bus station until 9.15 - nearly 5 hours later. When the bus left we first had a stop for the ticket inspector, then we stopped for fuel and then finally a 30 minute break about 1.30 outside of Amman. This adds unnecessary time to the journey. The vehicle should be fully fueled before leaving Jordan and also is it necessary to have a 30 minute break on a 3hr journey... I'm not so sure - it's not a huge distance that requires this pause. After many hours exploring Petra - where you will be tired and sweaty from the desert sun, it is more desirable to reach your destination quicker. If you can afford the taxi both ways , I would certainly recommend this as you will save a lot of time.Written June 6, 2023
- RaeNaka0 contributionsVery Helpful Staff and Good RideWant to say a big THANKS for the supervisor of JETT bus in Petra - Mr Mouath. My luggage was sent to Wadi Rum by mistake (by hotel guest not by JETT) and it was being sent back by a taxi driver but it could not be arrived before bus departure from Petra to Amman. Mouath helped to call the hotel and taxi driver a few times to trace my luggage bag while he was also busy to take care of his JETT bus customer. The taxi driver who sent back my luggage bag arrived 1 min after the JETT bus departed and Mouath managed to load my bag onto the bus. Without JETT bus and Mouath's help - which is his extra work, I am definately not able to get back my luggage with bus departed on time.Written March 7, 2023
- Tina B0 contributionsShocking timetable. Forgot me completely on the way home.lady I bought the ticket from gave me the wrong time, so I missed. On the return journey they forgot meWritten February 21, 2023
- georgepM4680ED0 contributionsNo TicketsI booked a ticket for the 7th December (so could do Petra on my Birthday) and when we turned up to the bus station they had no ticket in my name, so therefore had to buy tickets at the office which was 40JD in total for a return ticket. As for the refund policy there isn’t much information on however, will be in contact to receive a refund.Written December 7, 2022
- John S0 contributionsDo your homework before booking! Overpriced TicketThe trip was smooth but was extremly overpriced. This sort of trip can be easily book at the Jett bus station for 20-25 Jordanian Dinar round trip.Written November 17, 2022
- 137arianec0 contributionsMixed!First the positive: the trip from Amman to Aqaba and back went smoothly and according to plan. The staff is also very friendly! Now the negative: during the tour to Petra and back we spent a total of one hour in front of a souvenir store. I would have preferred to spend this time in Petra. But the tour from Amman to Jerash was a cheek! After we were on the way back and ALL in the bus said that we did not want to take lunch in a restaurant determined by the driver to us (also extremely expensive and no choice), he went there with us anyway. A young man who obviously belonged to the driver, went to eat and everyone else sat on the bus for an hour!!!Written November 7, 2022
- matthewk5850 contributionsBus Abdali to King Hussein BridgeCaught the 6.30am bus to King Hussein Bridge costing 11JD each. Had read in blogs and reviews that this price includes the shuttle (which was the same bus) over to Israel, but this is no longer the case - you have to pay an additional 7JD per person and 1.5JD for bags. If you have more than 1 person, it would be cheaper and more convenient to taxi to the border.Written October 18, 2022
- moronea880 contributionsDay well spentWe were suppose to stop at the castle first however lucky for us our driver decided we'd need more time in jerash so swapped the itinerary around and glad he did,he gave us 4hrs in jerash including time for lunch and it was ideal, jerash is quite a large site so maximum time needed. Comfortable bus with air conWritten October 8, 2022
