Wonderful program! We were picked up right on time at the David Citadel Hotel. Because there was just one pickup point, we didn't spend hours making the rounds to different hotels, which I liked. The vehicle was a large, comfortable van, and our group was relatively small, about 15-20 people. 30 minute ride to Bethlehem. Our guide, a Palestinian Christian, took us to Shepherds Field church, the Milk Grotto Church and the Nativity Church. He was knowledgeable, his English was excellent, and he knew how to navigate the holy sites, which aren't always "user friendly" even though they are welcoming to visitors. At the Nativity Church, getting into the small underground space where the stable and manger are located was a bit of a challenge - people sort of mob around the entrance. (Depending on the day of the week, it's not always doable, due to the long lines, but we were able to see it.) Without the guide, I wouldn't have even attempted it. We also made a stop to see the Banksy artwork on the wall that separates the Palestinian territories; I felt the guide presented a balanced view of the situation. Final stop was a workshop that makes olive wood items and gift shop. The prices were comparable to other souvenir stands and the shopkeepers were very gracious, giving us baklava and coffee. This was a great bargain for the price - had we tried this tour on our own (rental car or taxi) we wouldn't have seen nearly as much. TIP: Take a taxi to the meeting point. Our hotel was relatively close, and we got totally lost and missed the bus. GPS didn't work, maybe due to the many stone walls. Thankfully, the tour operator was kind enough to let us use our ticket the next day, but that might not be possible during the busy season, so don't count on it!

Fantastic half day tour with Johnny. We were a very small group visiting on a rainy day in January. Johnny was very knowledgeable and we were never rushed in any of the sites. Luckily there were few big groups around and we actually had the milk grotto to ourselves. Short queue for Christ's birthplace and plenty of time for photos. We felt very safe and it was good to take on board the very different living environment just over the checkpoint.. food for thought! Was dubious about visiting due to recent trouble but so very glad we did. Highly recommend

Tour was great to see all of Bethlehem quick, especially because it would be challenging to find all of the same places via taxi (I didn’t see many cabs in the West Bank for hire when I was there). Tour had a lunch stop for 70 NIS per person (optional) and a stop at a gift shop at the end (very kind employees). Banish artwork stops were also very cool to see, and the tour was operated in a Mercedes Sprinter. Great value tour in my opinion!

Excellent informative tour offered by passionate and highly knowledgeable guide, George, in Bethlehem. The tour was facilitated by Elias, who was equally amazing. BUT: don’t do an add-on of Jericho and the Jordan river. That part of the trip was unfortunate and a huge waste of time and money. The bus driver doubled up as a guide and knew very little about the archaeology and biblical history of Jericho, in particular. As we left the town of Jericho, fellow tourists noted points of interest in the town which the driver clearly knew nothing about. More effort and interest on his part would have saved us standing around a shop for almost an hour while we waited for a group to join our bus. We could have learnt and experienced so much more of Jericho and surroundings.

This tour was a highlight of our trip!
Elias was charismatic, friendly and switched-on. He was also very accomodating and went out of his way to take us (a group of Educators from Australia) to the Banksy graffiti artworks, as we requested.
The information was a terrific blend of the historic and contemporary; and there was plenty of time to roam, soak up the atmosphere and take plenty of pictures.
Would recommend! You won't be disappointed.

This was one, if not the best tour I experienced during my three weeks in Israel! Elias was incredible; so full of knowledge and charisma! He truly made the experience something to remember. Our group was very keen to see Banksy's flower thrower artwork, and even though it isn't part of the tour, Elias was more than willing to take us there and give us time for photos.
All of the sights were incredible, and we were really able to immerse ourselves in everything Bethlehem had to offer. We saw so much, and had so many incredible photo opportunities!
5 stars is not a high enough rating!

This was a morning tour that included pickup from Jerusalem. You should bring your passports for the border checkpoint, but they were never checked in our case.
This tour included all the important Christian sights of Bethlehem: Shepherd's Fields, Church of the Nativity (including the grotto where Jesus is alleged to have been born and the cave where St. Jerome prepared the Vulgate), and the Milk Grotto.
In between, we made a stop to see some Banksy paintings and the Palestinian graffiti on the barrier wall. I really appreciated this stop, and my understanding is that not all Bethlehem half-day tours stop here.

Firstly the booking process was quite easy and straightforward with ticket down loaded to mobile phone. Meet a pickup address by really nice professional driver, unfortunately I did not catch his name. It was a small group and transport was in a nice and comfortable Mercedes’ vehicle. Driver drove gently and safely. On arrival in Bethlehem our tour guide joined use. Again I can’t recall his name. He was a nice guy and a brilliant guide. Explained about the sites well in good English and answering all our questions. We managed to see all the sites as listed and had plenty of time I.e. not rushed at all. Unfortunately, whilst queuing in the heat at the Church of the Nativity my wife became unwell. Our guide was terrific and made sure she got to see and touch the star. The last part of the tour takes you to a olive wood factory/shop. The Palestinian staff here were absolutely lovely. We had briefly looked around the shop but because my wife was still feeling delicate we waited outside for the rest. We therefore, did not made a purchase. The staff could obviously see we were not going to buy anything but still treated us so nice. Firstly, they bought us out a large falafel sandwich, for free. saying they had over ordered. Then they bought out tea and several free little gifts. Even as the coach was about to leave they gave everyone more free gifts. Genuine really nice people. All round great experience had.

Amazing!! Elias was a very good and nice tour guide. Me and my two friends went on the tour in early 2021 while the country was still closed to tourists. Even though it was just a small group of 3 of us, Elias still arranged all of the transportation to/from Bethlehem and gave us the tour despite it not being enough for him to make a real profit. He was super accommodating and gave us snacks, and little souvenirs. The tour was very interesting and informative. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to tour Bethlehem.

Highly recommend Elias!
He led our group through Bethlehem with humour and knowledge. He showed us some amazing street art, including some extra Banksy at our request!! His knowledge of the area came from the heart and he was open to sharing on any question we asked. We signed up mostly for the Church of Nativity but ended up seeing and learning so much more about the area. Highlight of our trip!

I would definitely ask as I found the tour operators flexible. People did change drop off locations but I am not sure how crowded the bus will be to handle luggage
