I decided to use this tour company for the Jerusalem and Bethlehem excursion when the excursion that I had booked with the cruise ship was cancelled. It was an excellent decision especially since the cost of the tour was much cheaper than the cruise ship price. Leo kept constant communication from the time of booking and kept us informed of time changes for the start of the tour because of Covid restrictions imposed by Israel. Our guide Gil was waiting as we exited the ship with a sign showing our names. Gil was an excellent guide and was so knowledgeable. Because of our later start ( 1pm instead of 8am ) the itinerary was changed and we visited Bethlehem first. The overall tour was excellent and we got to visit all of the sites despite our late start. The only negative about the tour was the fact that we were only allowed a very short time for shopping. I would have preferred a longer time since this was my first visit to the Holy Land and I would have liked to browse for souvenirs and religious objects. I would highly recommend this tour.

Thanks to GUIDED TOURS ISRAEL and our guide, Gal, our trip was amazing!!!!! Gal is responsible for giving us a fantastic time in beautiful Israel.Gal knows well the history of Israel and all of the cultures. He insisted there were places we “needed” to see inspite of our exhaustion …. And he was right!!!!! Our visit would not have been as wonderful as it was without Guided Tours Israel and Gal!!!

My husband and I did 2 long day tours with them back in October. They were professional and very informative. We felt safe during the Bethlehem portion as well. Two things that stand out in my mind, one is how our driver was assertive with a man who was blocking our road for a handicap strike that was going on at the cruise pier. He got out of our van tried to reason with the protestor and when that didn’t work he drove through obstacles to get us out of the hugh traffic jam that was created from this striker so to keep us on our schedule....our hero!!!
Second, I left my very favorite demin jacket on one of their vans that I’ve worn for 15yrs. My husband contacted them and they actually found it and mailed it back to me for no cost! I think that shows how kind and considerate they are!!!
I would use their service again! Highly recommend their services.

We visited Israel in October. We were on a cruise ship and we are so glad we found this tour agency. Our tour was so much better than those on the crowded big buses with the cruise shore excursions. We had only 16 people on our tour which was so much better than being crowded like cattle on a big bus with 40+ other people. Our guide was Yossi. He was excellent. He was so good in fact we asked for him for all 3 days and the tour agency let him do that. We felt like family at the end of the 3 days as all but 3 or 4 of the people were the same. Yossi got all of our tour tickets when we needed them. He was very good about making plenty of stops for us to use bathroom facilities. He explained everything to us. His knowledge of the Bible and the events that had taken place at our tour stops was outstanding. Our tour bus was very comfortable and air conditioned. I can't pick anything that was my favorite as far as the sights but Masada was a must see and most of the people we talked to on the cruise ship did not go there. Again, because we were a smaller group we were able to see more of the sights. This was a trip I will never forget and this tour agency and Yossi made that happen.

Leo at Guided Tours Israel supplied a guide, Sandy Kuttler, for a private tour of Israel for three days.
We were in awe of Sandy's knowledge of all religions, the history of the country going back to the BC era, and anecdotes on history and stories of the Bible.

He showed up early each day ready to put in 8-10 hours a day while being considerate of some physical limitations.

In all, we highly recommend Leo at Guided Tours Israel. Ask for Sandy Kuttler as your guide and you will have a fabulous time in this beautiful and historic country.

We had a wonderful tour with just 14 other people from our ship. On day one we visited Bethlehem and locations surounding the Sea of Gallee. The entry into Bethlehem was quick and without any hold ups. Security is checked carefully and our driver had all the necessary documentation to get us through. Our guide was Kamal Mukarker who is a personal friend of Rick Steves. Kamal was excited to tell us about the challanges of living in Bethlehem. He was eager to answer all of our questions.

Following our visit to Bethelehem we continued on with Shakked. She made all of our visits to the sites around the Sea of Galliee and in Jerusalem the next day very revelant to the Bible. She brought a Bible which volunteers read from at most of the venues. A highlight for me was being in the garden of Gethsemane and linking our visit to events that took place there as described in the Bible.

Shakked spoke excellent english and never once did we misunderstand her. She responded to all of our questions and explained things frp, both a Jewish and Christian perspective.

I highly reccomend Guided Tours Of Isreal. We hope to able to return in the future. There is so much to see.

We had 3 full days of Christian focused tours with this company from both Ashdod and Haifa cruise ports. Despite large crowds and a rainy day in Jerusalem, we visited all the Holy Sites there. Our guide, Omri , was very knowledgeable. He knew his way around the streets, the Christian history of the sites, where to park, where to eat and how best to maneuver 2 in our party who had difficulty with steps. We really appreciated his efforts to minimize the stair climbing. When he transferred us to the Bethlehem tour guide for our visit to the Church of the Nativity, we were well informed on what to expect. It went perfectly. The Palestinian guide was well educated in Christian history. He helped us get a special entry due to the mobility issues, took us to a very nice shop which had clean restrooms and high quality merchandise post the church visit. Our drive back to meet Omri at the checkpoint went smoothly.
On day 2, we visited the Nazareth and Galilee areas. It was another wonderful touring day with Omri. He deserves special mention for maneuvering very narrow, hilly serpentine streets that run through Nazareth neighborhoods to reach the church. This day was very beautiful with the weather and with the locations which had great meaning to us. We had a superb lunch at an Arab restaurant which had fresh foods simply prepared. This was our favorite!
Day 3 we visited Caesarea, where the ruins of King Herod’s palace and the old Roman city are located on the Mediterranean Sea. Omri told us much about the history of the city. It is a lovely location with a wonderful melding of antiquity and modernity. Lunch was in Jaffa at a waterfront restaurant. The food was very good.

We loved our tours and would use this company again if we are ever back in Israel. They are great to deal with via email. All 3 days went exactly as they told us would happen. Thank you Guided Tours Israel for a very memorable visit to your country.
All our expectations and then some were met.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. There were 14 of us on the tour which was comprehensive and the experience was exactly what we had hoped for. The handling of our booking by Leo was much appreciated.

Our guide Gil was knowledgeable and looked after us extremely well. The venues were very crowded but Gil managed to keep us together and guide us through the many sites. A very tiring day but well worth the effort of sticking to our programme.

We would recommend Guided Tours Israel to others seeking a similar tour.

We were a small party from the Viking Cruise Ship, Jupiter, and did the 3-day tour over the last 3 days of March: 1) Jerusalem and Bethlehem, 2 Masada and the Dead Sea, and 3) Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee from a Christian Perspective. The entire experience was superbly incredible. We worked closely with Leo J. to set everything up -- he was very responsive and followed up quickly with every inquiry. For the 3 days we had Erez as our guide, and Jocko as our very safe and competent driver. Erez led three masterful tours with his excellent English-speaking skills, and his detailed and thorough knowledge of all the geography, history, and archaeology of this incredible land that is the birthplace of three religions. This small group tour was infinitely better than the large ship-provided bus tours with ear buds that herd you around, and was also at a better price. Being small, we all bonded together, and really learned a great deal from Erez who responded to our every request for details and more. Definitely a tremendous experience that would benefit all!

Part 2 of our 3 day tour with GuidedtoursIsrael.com. Pick up at cruise terminal. Extensive tour which included Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, old city of Jerusalem including walk of Jesus to crucifixtion (via Delarosa) and tomb, wailing wall.
Would recommend discussing with Leo at GuidedToursIsrael.com your expectation (if you are Jewish, Christian or just looking for historical background) They seem very anxious to please and sent 9 pages of information to review prior to the tour.
Does not include admission prices or lunch but Leo will give you those expectation of costs at booking, guide will collect the $ and purchase the tickets etc. Israel does take US $ (we did not use shekkels even though a few times we got them in change)
Bethlehem was an easy transfer into Palestine held area and Palestine guide was terrific. I was needlessly concerned there, no need to be.
CAUTION: Not for people with mobility issues due to extensive walking over cobblestone pavers, climbing steps and very tight/crowded conditions at Via Delarosa.
Also a few areas of climbing into caves though you can opt to stay outside on those.
Great time to visit (early November) weather was 70s and wonderful.
