We arrived early morning at 10:00 am , so it wasn’t crowded , admission was so fast , they gave us a 3d cinema tour (VAR) in virtual helicopter around istanbul attractions, then we walked to the aquarium, sea creatures from each sea, ocean & region was organized in different areas, the light was dim and flash cameras are not allowed so as not to disturb creatures, the children loved it , and were introduced to new sea creatures never seen before , it was amazing. There were no staff to guide you through, but information was written beside each container. The place needs some maintenance & updating , but the kids enjoyed it anyway. there are some vendors in the middle of the tour for ice cream, coffee, desserts & water . there is also an outdoor balcony in the middle of the tour where smoking is allowed . At the end we visited the aquarium shop & bought some souvenirs that was not overpriced as we expected, and you can immediately enter to the aqua florya mall for shopping & dining. We spent 5 hours there, between the aquarium & the mall and it was fun .

Although the check in experience was a little chaotic and it can be a little confusing as to your actual appointment time, since you may get an emailed notice of your REQUESTED time rather than the time actually assigned to you (something to be on the lookout for), the overall experience was very cool and I definitely am glad I did it. The scrub-down and bubble wash/massage on the marble slabs was novel and unique for me. If you are shy, maybe not the place for you, because everyone is naked together in the room (woman are separate from men, of course). Most of the time you are covered in either bubbles or mud (if you want the mud treatment), so it's not a big deal, but be aware that you will be naked amongst others unless you bring your own underwear or wear the paper-like underwear they give you. The best part of the experience was the 45 minute full body massage by ESSIN. One of the best massages I've ever gotten. I would be prepared to spend 2+ hours here and would get as many services as sound good/intriguing. I can't speak to other, less expensive options because this is the only hammam I visited in Istanbul, but this experience in the US at a nice place would have run 2 or 3 times the cost, so in my opinion, quite worth it. One final note, the waiting room/area is very small, so I would not plan to be there too far in advance of your actual treatment.

A dream that was repeatedly cancelled due to winds in different countries that I tried. Today the sun and wind were perfect over the Black Sea. The instructor whose name I don't recall was caring, friendly and kind and took me on a great ride across the skies. The equipment was in great shape and it felt safe. The park adjoining the ocean is not maintained, no toilet facilities, and filthy. Many people come out and camp here and leave their debris there. This is not highly touristic fortunately, mostly a local haunt.

This is one of the best archeological museum I’ve been to. Especially the rooms with the history of Turkey. Don’t miss their sarcophagus collection. The tile house is also interesting. Unfortunately the orient house that houses some key artifacts is closed for renovations. Make sure to come early and avoid the lines.

Show was amateur, seats uncomfortable, food not great and worse of all, myself and a couple of friends had food poisoning as a result. Stay away.

My husband , being a professor in Mathematics is always keen to visit with research collaborators in his field of research. This was my reason for visiting the university. Beautiful, well maintained buildings. Lots of open areas. Buildings with high ceilings and some with beautiful architecture. Many canteens throughout the campus. Had a lecturer to take us around. Very impressive.

Worth every penny and more, fantastic show from start to finish, how they do 3 hours none stop in the heat is amazing and they pull it off so well. If you are thinking of going it’s a must all the staff involved were great and friendly. The food was chicken chips with salad and was very tasty and just fell off the bone. So overall this was a fabulous night for us during our trip to turkey. Well done all involve.

I had the most amazing time at the baths yesterday. I have had many spa experiences before but nothing as memorable as the traditional Turkish bath. Lovely Suzan took care of me and scrubbed me of my dead skin, washed my hair and got the most wonderful massage and facial- and in an incredibly remarkable space! I wish I could’ve taken photos of the sauna and main washing area, so relaxing and beautiful. The first time I’ve felt actually clean in a while! My skin needed it after so much time in the sun! Thank you Suzan!! I highly, highly recommend this- my entire family did the Turkish bath experience and all were just as pleased!

This is worst experience we had in Turkey. First we were double charged for our bookings. We paid at the time of booking and then at the time of check -in. We were told at the time of check in that this is pre paid but they were adamant and said you need to deal with your agent . Since we didn’t have any other choice we paid again. About the experience . This is worst message . Masseur did only 2 min of body scrubbing and then hardly 15 min of body message and then washed with foam and water. I was done in total 20 min. Masseur was more interested in taking about crypto currency as what do i buy and other information related to it. Later manager of the this place told me that he is sorry about the experience and after talking to my agent will refund us for double charges . It’s been more than a week and I have not received any refund. They know we are tourist ant will not be there for follow up. I was looking forward to Turkish Hamam Bath experience visiting from USA on a vacation. I had limited time and chose this place but end up worst experience on my vacation time. Normally I don’t write reviews but this experience enforced me to inform other travelers and warn about this place.

This is best hamam. After therapy i was feeling like a child after bath. Erdal therapist have a greater hands. See you again some day!)

Oh wow - I didn’t know I could get this clean and relaxed! I had a team of two women - Semiha and Filiz- to take care of me. Both had lovely, strong hands and such delightful smiles and giggles. I would honestly request them the next time. You can, too - as long as I’m not waiting for my next bath experience😉 I also had a mani pedi which was exceptional. The soles of my feet are like babies now!

excellent tour but save yourself loads of money buy a Trabzom Tam bus card from the machines in Trabzon, or buy one from the kiosk at sahıl bus stop bottom of cumhurriyet street. The lady thete is very nice. Use the card to travel to the village of Maçka. Get of at Maçka PTT from there get a dolmus or mınibus or hire a taki. And get your own private tour for a bery good price
