Cu Chi Tunnels and Countryside Tour by Luxury Speedboat
US$89.00
Overview
A popular destination from Ho Chi Minh, the Cu Chi Tunnels draw lots of visitors at peak times. This speedboat tour gets you there faster than you would by car so you beat the main crowds. Explore with a guide, and because you’re with a small group, have plenty of time questions. After included lunch, visit a cricket farm and other food producers on the ride back to your hotel.
What to Expect
After Ho Chi Minh hotel pickup, board a deluxe speedboat on the Saigon River and enjoy an approximately 1-hour cruise to Cu Chi. Observe the riverbanks as your guide explains local life at the farms and villages you pass, and savor onboard drinks and fresh fruit.

On arrival, enjoy a guided tour of the historical Cu Chi site and tunnels used by the Viet Cong against the Americans and other forces during the Vietnam War. Explore above and below ground to see what were once hidden supply routes, kitchens, and hospitals.

After a riverside Vietnamese lunch, you’ll head back to Ho Chi Minh, stopping en route to experience local life. Visit an herb farm and a cricket farm, learning how the insects are made into delicacies, and get glimpse at traditional rice-paper production.

The best way to get to the Cu Chi Tunnels by far!

We opted for the 7 am river excursion and were glad we did. We traded atrocious traffic for a fresh fruit and croissant breakfast, scenes of local fishing boats, and a cool breeze. Our guide was a gracious woman who shared her personal stories in...More

Fantastic Tour

On our first Les Rives tour (Cu Chi Tunnels) we were picked up on time at 7am in a clean and air conditioned tour bus which drove us to the boat. From there, we took a speedboat about 1.5 hours to the site. The boat...More

Great Tour

Excellent tour. We had a very informative guide who gave us excellent background information. Boat ride was great, excellent refreshments all day. Beautiful authentic Vietnamese lunch, which suited everyone’s dietary requirements. Overall very glad we chose this tour compared to a cheaper one. Highly recommended!
