Best day tour in Bangkok! My group was lucky enough to have ‘Uncle Sam’ as our guide, Ayutthaya was amazing, well beyond what I was expecting, and Uncle Sam was very informative without being boring, and also very funny. Around half of the tour gave us enough time to do our own exploring, and to find that ‘perfect’ photo. We had a simple but very satisfying and tasty lunch, which was included in the tour cost along with free water bottles. This tour seemed to be very well organised and even if you don’t get the team of Uncle Sam and driver, ‘Mr T’, I think you will be very happy. Highly recommended. Solo traveller aged 74, so very suitable for all ages except perhaps small children who might find the ruins less interesting.

Very well organised tour in comfortable vehicle, in the capable hands of Boye. And wow, what an amazing place! Even without knowing much beforehand, I was able to get some understanding of the illustrious history and shocking fall of Ayatthuya ("seven days and seven nights, boom boom boom" in the memorable words of our tour guide 😊) all while walking gobsmacked among the impressive and beautiful ruins. Overall, I would highly recommend this trip to most people. However, the sound system in the bus wasn't up to the same high standard as the rest of the experience, making some parts of the commentary impossible to follow. Unless there's a commitment from the company to improve the sound quality, people whose first language isn't English, whose hearing isn't perfect or who really don't want to miss any of the information may want to consider another tour operator.

Good in terms of logistic arrangement (transportation, punctual schedule) Average in terms of food. It was less choices and less food volume.

I loved seeing ancient architecture of the former rulers of Thailand. Our tour guide explained the history, then let us explore each site. The guide was very responsible and caring. Important for tourists to know they should dress respectfully for this tour. Also, I would suggest, when you stop for lunch, to buy some of the grilled sticky rice (wrapped in banana leaves) from the sidewalk sellers - it was really delicious.

Very organized trip, we had Uncle Sam as our guide who taught us a lot about the history behind the temples but also said a lot about Thai language, culture etc. Lunch was local, cheap and delicious, we even ordered an extra plate. We packed in so much and arrived back at MBK by 14:30. Excellent value for money and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Bangkok. You the man, Uncle Sam!

Definitely I recommend but be sure that your guide is Tum Tum. She is very professional, informative, helpful and friendly. She has super positive vibes and we had a great experience thanks to her. Also we had a plenty of Thailand history and background of Thai culture.

“Handsome Paul” was a very good guide. He gave interesting history of Ayutthaya as a capital city in that time period. Even though tour started early, it finished at 3 so there was time for us to walk around MBK Centre where we got dropped off.

Perfect one day tour if you are briefly visiting Bangkok! We spent 2 days in Bangkok and this trip left us feeling we have seen it all. It’s a day well spent and we enjoyed it. William was amazing guide, he was so friendly and fun, and gave us a lot of interesting facts and information about the places we were visiting and general way of life. Would highly recommend!

A fun and informative tour! Mr William was great at explaining some of Thailand's history, and was very helpful with everything. Our driver, Mr. Chatchai also drove very safely and efficiently. I was also grateful for the bottles of cold water provided - it helped with the very hot weather.

The guide and reception team were very accommodating, pleasant and helpful on and before arrival at the river city Bangkok meeting spot. They spoke English well and prompted me persistently to provide a hotel pickup location for their mini-van even after I had checked and their database didn’t list my hotel as an eligible waypoint. Still, they got the name and picked me up precisely on time! Why am I giving this 3 stars? One, because it was rated by Tripadvisor in the top 10 things to do in Bangkok and it’s not even in Bangkok. So far, as a new person to Bangkok I’ve done two of the top 10 tours and barely spent any time in the city as they were both hours away (Yes, the pickup location is in Bangkok but still). Second, the tour just wasn’t that remarkable. Lunch was in an open-air shack like place, one of what seemed to be ubiquitous in Ayutthaya. Further, the temple ruins were all quite similar. We saw 4 but you can see one and feel like you’ve seen them all. Same building materials, symbolism and purposes for each. The whole process of us stopping the van and having drawn-out explanations for simple aspects of the ruins was redundant and somewhat dull after a while.

Tour guide well presented and good trip. He take care of all tourists very well and everybody feels cheer and active during the 1 day tour.
